Steph Curry will probably go down as the greatest shooter in NBA history. It's easy to see why. He is third on the all-time three-point list and he still has a long way to go before he retires. Curry has had some magical games as a member of the Golden State Warriors and he has bee known as a fuse waiting to be lit. On any given night, Curry could get hot and score an obscene number of points. Curry is well-aware of his abilities and recently, he let JaVale McGee know exactly what he thinks about himself.
During an IG live session for the NBA, McGee asked Curry which team he thinks he could go for 60 against. Curry quickly replied noting that he could do it against anybody. Of course, this led to an exaggerated response from McGee who began running around his room while Curry sat back and laughed.
While Curry is certainly confident here, it begs the question: why doesn't he do it then? Listen, dropping 60 points is no easy task. However, if you're going to say you can do it against any team, you better go out and do it.
For now, Curry won't be able to make good on his promise considering the NBA has suspended operations until further notice. Although when the league comes back, we hope Curry can put his money where his mouth is.
Zion Williamson Has One-Sided Jersey Exchange With JaVale McGee
Zion Williamson has been dominating the court in his rookie season and other players are taking notice.
Zion Williamson is only 15 games into his NBA career but he's already made a huge impression. Last night, Zion put up 35 points in a game against the Los Angeles Lakers. His team ended up losing the game 122-114 but regardless, it was an interesting game to watch. Williamson continues to prove himself as one of the most entertaining players in the entire NBA and it doesn't seem like that's going to change anytime soon.
One Lakers player who was impressed by Williamson last night was none other than JaVale McGee. After the game, the two exchanged words and Williamson even gave McGee his jersey. Usually, this signifies a jersey swap. This means McGee should have taken off his jersey and given it to Zion. Instead, McGee took Zion's jersey and kept it moving.
Some feel like Zion may have snubbed McGee and didn't actually want his uniform. However, one theory no one is pushing is that perhaps McGee was unwilling to give up his uniform and preferred to have a one-sided transaction. We'll probably never know the truth but considering McGee was involved, the clip looks all that much funnier.
Regardless, we're sure McGee is happy to have that Zion jersey in his collection considering it will probably be worth a lot of money in just a few year's time.
JaVale McGee Enacts Yet Another "Shaqtin’ A Fool" Moment
JaVale McGee has been known for his bizarre plays on the court and last night, he came through with another one.
JaVale McGee is one of those players that pundits love to criticize without a care in the world. McGee is a role player who for the most part, does his job well. He helped the Golden State Warriors win a title and now, he's trying to help the Los Angeles Lakers do the same. While he's been having a predominantly quiet season, McGee has been more than effective at his job and Lakers fans are more than appreciative of his efforts.
Last night, McGee had a solid night as he scored 12 points in a 116-86 win over the Golden State Warriors. Unfortunately for him, his biggest highlight was more of a lowlight. In the clip below, McGee can be seen trying to inbound the ball while still in bounds. Of course, you have to be below the baseline in order to inbound the ball.
We're sure Shaq loved this clip as he now has even more fodder for his next installment of "Shaqtin' A Fool." Shaq has been very critical of McGee over the years and that's not going to stop anytime soon, especially with a play like this one.
Luckily for McGee, all he needs to care about is the fact his team has a 45-12 record and is comfortably in first place in the Western Conference. Winning softens the blow of some minor miscues.
JaVale McGee Reportedly Helped Produce On Justin Bieber’s New Album
JaVale McGee does a lot more than just play basketball.
JaVale McGee has been one of the more enigmatic centers in the NBA over the past few years. At times, McGee has struggled on the court while other times, he looks downright dominant. As of right now, McGee is on the Los Angeles Lakers and he has been making his presence felt all season long. Whether you like McGee or not, there is no denying he can be entertaining at times and is giving the Lakers a real chance to contend.
As it turns out, McGee is multitalented. It was revealed recently that McGee also goes by the name "Pierre" and can produce and write music. In fact, his latest endeavor was writing and producing on the track "Available" which is off of Justin Bieber's brand new album Changes.
When it comes to music production, this is certainly the biggest look McGee has gotten thus far. Say what you will about the song or Bieber's music, but there is no denying that it's cool to see an NBA star excelling in something outside of his main craft. With this most recent production credit, perhaps we will see McGee give us even more tracks in the future.
What are your thoughts on the song? Let us know in the comments below.
Lakers’ JaVale McGee Reveals Hilarious Reason For Recent Drug Test
The league is always watching.
JaVale McGee has been having a solid season with the Los Angeles Lakers. On any given night, McGee can be seen providing big dunks and even bigger blocks. While he may not be lighting up the score sheet like LeBron James or Anthony Davis, McGee fits his role perfectly. He does exactly what you ask of him and if you're a Lakers fan, you have to appreciate it. On Sunday night, McGee had himself a great game defensively as he recorded six blocks in just 20 minutes of playing time.
It appears as though the league took notice of McGee's big game as he was promptly drug tested afterward. McGee took to Twitter to alert his fans of the drug test, referring to it as "crazy." The NBA wants to make sure everyone is playing within the rules and sometimes, this includes testing players after they've come through with a big game.
This isn't the first time something like this has happened. Alex Caruso of the Lakers was tested before the season after a doctored image hit social media. The photo depicted Caruso as having humongous muscles which, of course, is something Caruso is not known for having.
Hopefully, the league will let McGee get those types of games off in the future, without being hassled afterward.
