Dez Bryant has always been one of the most outspoken players in the NFL. As of right now, he isn't on a team but he has certainly been working hard to get himself in playing shape. When it comes to issues of race and discrimination, Bryant always speaks from the heart, and recently, that's exactly what he did.
There are numerous protests going on throughout the country and Bryant seems to believe Cowboys owners Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones, as well as tight end Jason Witten, could learn a thing or two about them. In the tweets below, Bryant says these three men should be brought to the protests as they would learn a lot about what real unity is.
Perhaps these comments were inspired by the fact that the Cowboys recently released a statement about police brutality and how they want to bring people together. It's important to note that Witten actually saw Bryant's tweet and tried to call him. Witten even advocated for peace and said that it's time white people listen and learn about what's going on in the world. This is a sentiment Bryant ultimately agreed with as he hit Witten with the prayer emoji.
We are facing unprecedented times in America right now and unity will certainly go a long way right now. Hopefully, the sports world is able to enact some serious change moving forward.
Jerry Jones Mocked On Twitter Over Lonely NFL Draft Day Setup
Jerry Jones will be drafting from the comfort of his home.
This year, the NFL draft will be unlike any other in the history of the league. Due to the Coronavirus, the NFL is forced to hold the entire draft online, through a virtual portal. Fans will still be able to watch the draft but it will certainly prove to be one of the weirdest experiences you will have as a sports fan.
Numerous teams will be dealing with different setups. For instance, some squads have chosen to let multiple executives in on the draft day festivities, albeit from separate homes. Some franchises, however, will have their GM going in solo. The Dallas Cowboys are one of those teams which means Jerry Jones will be making all of the decisions on his own.
When you stop to think about Jones' draft and decision-making history, you quickly realize that this is going to be one wild ride that could either go poorly or extremely poorly. There really is no in-between and there surely isn't any scenario in which this is a good thing that Cowboys fans should be happy about.
With this in mind, Twitter decided to do what they do best: make jokes from behind a keyboard. While we're all guilty of doing this, certainly myself, there is no denying that some of the jokes were great and will ultimately prove to be an accurate portrayal of Jones' actions tonight.
We truly can't wait to see how it all goes down.
Dallas Cowboys’ New Head Coach Revealed, NFL Fans React
Well, that was quick.
This past weekend, it was announced that the Dallas Cowboys would officially be moving on from head coach Jason Garrett. After ten years, Garrett only managed two playoff wins which simply isn't good enough. Owner Jerry Jones was looking for better results and Garrett was a scapegoat for all of it. Even before Garrett's firing, it was reported that the Cowboys were interviewing a whole slew of candidates, including former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy.
Today, it was reported by Jay Glazer of Fox Sports that the Cowboys were officially signing McCarthy which means the team has a new head coach. McCarthy's tenure in Green Bay didn't exactly end on a positive note although it's important to remember that McCarthy won a Super Bowl during his time there.
This recent signing is huge news as it takes one of the biggest head coaching free agents off of the market. Numerous teams were interviewing McCarthy and now, they will have to look elsewhere. The Cowboys coaching job is certainly an attractive position as the team is loaded with talent and has the potential to be great.

Cowboys Fire Head Coach Jason Garrett, Jerry Jones Reacts
A new era in Cowboys football is about to begin.
Jason Garrett was the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys for ten years and was only able to get them two playoff wins. After a disastrous season, rumors were swirling that Garrett would be fired and the team would be looking for a brand new bench boss. After a full week of making fans guess, the Cowboys officially announced on Sunday that Garrett wouldn’t be coming back as head coach. Owner Jerry Jones had a lot to think about when it came to Garrett but it was clear they had to move on. Following the move, Jones spoke out about what Garrett meant to the team and the work he did over the last decade.

“We are extremely grateful to Jason Garrett for his more than 20 years of service to the Dallas Cowboys as a player, assistant coach and head coach,” Jones said in a statement NFL.com. “His level of commitment, character and dedication to this organization has been outstanding at every stage of his career. In his nine full years as a head coach, he guided our team to three division championships while also having them in position to play for the NFC East title in the last game of the year in four other seasons. His tenure of leadership will be characterized by his ability to produce teams that always played with great effort, emotion and passion, and he represented our organization with great pride, loyalty and respect.”
The Cowboys are already interviewing new personnel. Some of the names that have been thrown around are Mike McCarthy and Marvin Lewis.
Jason Garrett Will Reportedly Be Fired By The Cowboys, Fans React
Cowboys fans have been waiting for this.
Jason Garrett has become one of the most popular sports figures on this site over the last week thanks to his status with the Dallas Cowboys. The former NFL QB has been the team's head coach since 2010 and has only been able to bring them to three playoff appearances. Despite a plethora of talent, the Cowboys haven't made it past the divisional round since Garrett took over which is certainly grounds for dismissal. After missing the playoffs this season, fans were anticipating Garrett's firing. After a few days of uncertainty, it appears as though the time has finally come.
According to Ed Werder of ESPN, the Cowboys have been exercising caution with Garrett although it seems like they have finally decided to part ways. For now, the Cowboys won't confirm if Garrett has been fired although Werder reports that the team will be moving on from Garrett and that new coaching candidates will be interviewed.
The Cowboys made this process quite confusing and nervewracking for fans. Owner Jerry Jones has always been shy when it comes to firing people and when it comes to Garrett, he's been even timider. Regardless, the results speak for themselves and Garrett hasn't given the team much reason to keep him.
