You never know what's going to happen on Young Money Radio, though we can definitely admit it's far less dramatic than Queen Radio. Nonetheless, Lil Wayne always brings in top-tier talent to chop it up with him on current affairs and the state of the rap game. Last night, Nicki Minaj joined Weezy following the release of her new collaboration with 6ix9ine, "Trollz." The conversation, though, shifted towards the possibility of a joint project with Lil Wayne.

"We doin' our joint album. A lot of the fans been askin' about it. When we gon' do this?" Wayne asked Nicki.
"You already know, your wish is my command," Nicki replied.
Neither one of them gave any sort of confirmation of when fans could expect the project which isn't necessarily a promising sign. Nicki essentially broke down the problem with working with Wayne which is essentially laying down a verse after him. She pointed to their remix of Post Malone's "rockstar" as an example but she simply stated that it's different when you go in to a session to freestyle versus actually penning down a verse for a whole song.
We'll have to see if this ends up coming into fruition. Are you down for a Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj collab project in 2020? Sound off in the comments with your thoughts.
T.I. & B.o.B Rumoured To Be Working On A Joint Album
B.o.B revealed that he’s currently working on three separate albums, one of which may be a joint project with past collaborator, T.I.
B.o.B has a handful of new projects in the works, which may include a joint album with T.I. Last Friday (May 15th), the rapper hopped on XXL‘s Moments of Clarity podcast to discuss what’s been up to in quarantine, including working on a ton of new music. Along with a joint project with Sonny Digital and a solo album titled Somnia, B.o.B hinted at his potential plans to put out a collaborative album with T.I.
“I’m making like three albums at the same time,” he said around the 2:00 mark. “I’m working on a project—me and Sonny Digital working on an album. I just finished my album, Somnia. I just—there’s rumours me and T.I. might be working on an album. I don’t know man. I’m working on a lot of sh*t.”

Later on in the conversation (1:05:00), B.o.B elaborates on his forthcoming music. “I’m working on a project with Sonny Digital, like a duo project,” he repeats. “I also just finished…my most recent album, Somnia, I just completed that…Music is on the way. Somnia‘s on the way. B.o.B x Sonny Digital’s on the way—Bobby Digital. And I got a couple more shits up my sleeve. But I got a lot of music though, a lot of music coming.”

If a collaborative album does pan out with T.I., it would mark the rappers first joint effort together. However, the two of them have linked up in the past on tracks such as “Chosen,” “We Still in This B*tch,” “Problems” and more.

Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole’s Joint Project "Not Happening," TDE’s Punch Says
Sorry, guys. TDE"s Punch debunks rumors surrounding J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar's joint project.
Kendrick Lamar has been at the center of many rumored collaborative albums. Of course, the Black Hippy album is among them but for nearly a decade, fans have anticipated the long-awaited Kendrick Lamar/J. Cole collab project. The two titans haven't necessarily fueled these rumors recently but fans certainly did not forget about it.

TDE's President Punch revealed that he might put all of the records he's released over the years onto streaming platforms when a fan demanded Kendrick. This is far from likely the first time this request as been made but still, Punch entertained it. "What you do want with him?" Punch replied in a quoted tweet. The fan asked for a three-track EP with J. Cole which Punch immediately shut down.
"That's not happening," he replied.
That's when the fan doubled down on his request. "Yeah coz we gonna get a 12 track album from them right?" The fan implored.
Punch's reply seemed nearly petty at that point from constantly hearing this request. "0 tracks. Not happening," he said. So, perhaps we might never even get a collaboration with them at all in the future.
During J. Cole's 2018 press run, he shared an update with Angie Martinez revealing that they laid down a bunch of ideas together but they never sat down to complete a full body of work, nor were they even aiming to do so. Needless to say, even with Cole having to dead the rumors, Punch still has to field questions.

Pop Smoke & Quavo Apparently Had A Joint Project In The Works
Before his tragic death, Pop Smoke teased a joint project with Quavo called “Huncho Woo.”
Pop Smoke was working on a ton of new music before he was tragically gunned down last week in Los Angeles, and it looks like some of those songs were with Quavo. On Thursday, footage surfaced online of Pop Smoke teasing a potential collab project with the Migos rapper, even revealing that the two had recorded 9 songs already and were wanting to call it “Huncho Woo.”
“I know y'all heard that Meet The Wuu 2. So that means y'all heard that “Shake The Room” with me & Quavo,” Pop Smoke says in the clip. “So look, I’ma give y'all some insight. Me and Quavo got like 9 songs. Ya never know, you might be hearing a ‘Huncho Woo’ mixtape coming out or some shit like that know what I'm saying? Just stay tuned.”
As of now, Quavo hasn’t confirmed anything about this potential project, but hopefully we’ll get to hear one of those songs in the future.
Pop Smoke was tragically murdered last week while in his LA rental home, which belonged to RHOBH star Teddi Mellencamp. Police are currently trying to rule out if the murder was a targeted crime or a random robbery, but unfortunately no arrests have been made as of yet. RIP the Brooklyn sensation.
