A lot has happened in the last thirty days. The world's focus has shifted from COVID-19 to the protests and riots breaking out across the United States. Large gatherings have been held in each state as the public speaks out against systemic and interpersonal racism. Many of our favorite artists, including Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West, have participated in marches for the Black Lives Matter movement and, although Juicy J supports the movement, he has an important message for anybody that may have forgotten about the global pandemic we're also living through.
"The coronavirus is not over," tweeted the Three 6 Mafia rapper. His message is important, especially considering there has been a recent rise in cases following Memorial Day Weekend.
Juicy J wants everybody to stay safe but don't mistake his message for something it is not. The rapper has been actively supporting the protests, even releasing a new song called "Hella Fuckin' Trauma" about all that's been happening.
If you go out on the streets to protest, make sure to protect yourself and others by wearing a mask. If you're feeling sick, it's smarter to stay home and head back out once your symptoms have improved.
Just because the focus has shifted, it doesn't mean the virus is gone! There may be a bigger virus (racism) to take care of first but the coronavirus is still everpresent.
Young Dolph & Megan Thee Stallion Dropping Juicy J-Produced Banger Tonight
Young Dolph announced that he’ll be dropping “RNB,” produced by Juicy J and featuring Megan Thee Stallion, tonight at midnight.
Young Dolph and Megan Thee Stallion have joined forces with Juicy J to deliver “RNB,” a new single dropping tonight at midnight. On Thursday (May 28th), Dolph posted an image on Instagram depicting a drawing of a woman on the phone, wearing a blue wig and a pink Chanel outfit. A thought bubble above her head reads “RNB…” the name of the rapper’s new collaboration with fellow Texan, Megan Thee Stallion, dropping in a few short hours.
“Young Dolph ft @theestallion ‘RNB’ produce by: @juicyj,” Dolph wrote, along with a ton of fire and moneybag emojis. “TONIGHT @ MIDNIGHT.” It appears as though the Memphis rapper wiped his entire IG feed clean in honour of the impending release. His account currently bears only one post, the “RNB” announcement post with the official single art, which also serves as Dolph’s profile photo now.

Despite announcing his retirement from music back in March, Dolph has made a few separate promises to deliver new music since, but has failed to pull through. He did, however, stay true to his word last month when he dropped his single, “Sunshine,” a scathing critique of Donald Trump that also serves as a quarantine anthem. Let’s hope that this Juicy J-produced banger featuring the self-proclaimed Houston Hottie is actually brought to fruition, as well.
Juicy J Smears Billboard Following Tekashi 6ix9ine & Ariana Grande Mess
Juicy J jokes about his next investment now that he knows Billboard hits can be purchased following the Tekashi 6ix9ine x Ariana Grande fiasco.
Tekashi 6ix9ine warned his followers midway through the week that he believed Billboard would attempt to screw him out of a #1 debut for “GOOBA” and, lo and behold, it looks like that happened after the colorful rapper nabbed the #3 spot behind Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber. After launching a so-called investigation into the matter, 6ix9ine called out Billboard for allegedly allowing Grande and Bieber to purchase 60,000 copies of their single at the last minute using six credit cards.
While there is definitely something fishy about that, both of the pop stars have refuted those claims.
Apparently, this latest move has people empathizing with the rainbow snitch though, whether they acknowledge it or not.

Hip-hop icon Juicy J chimed in on the matter on Twitter, deleting his message shortly afterward. He spit some bars, claiming that Billboard hits can now be purchased if you politic correctly.
“You can buy P—y you can buy weed You can buy streams you can buy billboard what else can we buy,” asked the Three 6 Mafia legend. “I wanna invest,” he joked.
He doesn’t necessarily voice that he’s siding with Tekashi 6ix9ine on this matter since, you know, that would probably be incredibly damaging to his brand. However, this is enough validation for 6ix9ine’s point to make sense to us all.
Do you think Ariana and Justin bought their #1 spot from 6ix9ine?
Katy Perry Gets $2.8 Million Copyright Judgment Tossed Out
Katy Perry was ordered to pay a rapper $2.8 million for copyright infringement, but a judge has overturned the ruling.
It’s been good news all around for Katy Perry lately, Not only has the 13x Grammy-nominated singer recently announced that she’s expecting her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom, but she just scored a legal victory. Last summer, Christian rapper Flame, real name Marcus Gray, sued Perry and her collaborators. He accused them of stealing parts of his beat from his single “Joyful Noise” in order to make her smash hit track “Dark Horse” featuring Juicy J. A jury agreed and ordered Perry, Capitol Records, and the “Dark Horse” production team to pay a $2.8 million judgment.

Perry’s legal team immediately filed an appeal and wanted the copyright infringement judgment overturned, and it looks like they took home a win. On Tuesday (March 17), Page Six reported that a judge reviewed the evidence that was presented during the July 2019 trial and decided that “Gray failed the ‘extrinsic test,’ which, per the Hollywood Reporter, ‘requires that a copyright plaintiff identify concrete elements based on objective criteria that the works are similar.'”
It seems Marcus Gray won’t be receiving the millions he’d hoped for. The judgment was much less than he’d originally desired, considering he wanted Katy Perry, Capitol Records, and the producers to fork over $20 million. Check out the tracks below and let us know if you think Katy is in the clear on this one.
Wolftyla Recalls "Unfortunate" Megan Thee Stallion Songwriting Beef
Wolftyla claimed she was involved in creating Megan Thee Stallion's "Simon Says" with Juicy J—an assertion Meg vehemently denied.
A simple celebratory message on social media by Wolftyla turned into an online spat with Megan Thee Stallion. Last year, Megan released her Fever mixtape and later Wolftyla shared an image of the tracklist with the caption, "Got my first placement and it’s on an album by a woman who i think is fire." She hashtagged the song "Simon Says," a track that featured Juicy J, but Megan came back with ire.
"I write all my own sh*t don’t let nobody gas you up like that,” Megan Thee Stallion shared on her Instagram Story. “That clout sh*t crazy." According to The Source she also stated, "Like I said don’t nobody write my sh*t for me… so don’t try to insinuate you did… just be clear from the beginning. I didn’t even know she had nothing to do with the song Juicy J say you ain’t write nothing. Simon says shut tf up.”
A back-and-forth ensued, but in a recent interview with No Jumper, Wolftyla explained in detail how she came to be involved with the Fever song. "I was in a studio session and I was playing my music and somehow happened to leave the door open to the studio session and Juicy [J]'s manager came in," she said. The manager told Wolftyla that he was a fan and invited her to another session the following day. "I went in there, they played me a bunch of beats, I picked out the beats that I loved, I did some writing on it, melodies on it, and then boom."
"I was just going in there really humble," Wolftyla added about working with the Three 6 Mafia artist. "Juicy J's a legend and I'm not gonna sit here and bash him because, hey, the industry is the industry and business is business, but I definitely was going in there bright-eyed and really excited to work with him." She wasn't happy with being portrayed as a liar.
Wolftyla added that as a Vine star who is trying to transition into a serious artist, it was a heavy blow. However, she knew the song was going to come out with Megan Thee Stallion because she claims July J's manager contacted her asking for her BMI information. Watch the clip of Wolftyla on No Jumper below.
G-Eazy & Three 6 Mafia’s Juicy J Face Lawsuit Over "No Limit" Single
G-Eazy and Juicy J have been accused of copyright infringement from Memphis artists who claim “No Limit” samples their 1993 song.
DJ Paul and Juicy J from Three 6 Mafia have been hit hard within the last few days. The Academy Award-winning artists have been pelted with a stream of lawsuits over copyright infringement, and TMZ revealed that Juicy J, along with G-Eazy, has been named in yet another. The outlet shares that DJ Squeeky and Gaylon Love have claimed that G-Eazy’s “No Limit” hit single illegally sampled their 1993 track “Looking 4 Da Chewin.”

The Memphis artists are taking Juicy J and G-Eazy to court and hope that a judge awards them a portion of the song’s profits. As many of you know, “No Limit” also boasts features from Cardi B and A$AP Rocky, but they reportedly haven’t been named in the suit. The remix even added on Belly, French Montana, and Juicy J, but only the Three 6 Mafia rapper and G-Eazy are being targeted.
DJ Squeeky and Gaylon Love’s attorney reportedly spoke with TMZ gave a little insight as to why there are only two people being named in the lawsuit. “No Limit” is G-Eazy’s song, so he’s automatically included, and Juicy J got named because “he hails from Memphis, so he should have known he was rapping over a popular Southern hip-hop track that first hit the scene in the early ’90s,” TMZ wrote.
The publication added that there’s always a possibility that more names can be added to the lawsuit in the future. Meanwhile, check out the “No Limit” remix along with “Looking 4 Da Chewin” below.
Juicy J Retracts Beef With Columbia Records: "We Are All Good!"
Juicy J says he and Columbia are good.
Early Saturday, Juicy J initiated a heated moment between himself and his home label of Columbia Records, launching his “Fuk Columbia Records” track.
“I gave @ColumbiaRecords 20+ years of my life & they treat me like back wash,” Juicy J tweeted. “Fuk @ColumbiaRecords I’m gonna leak my whole album stay tuned.”
Now, the Three 6 Mafia emcee is singing a different tune as he has since pulled the entire track while taking to Instagram to declare that he and Columbia are back on good terms.
“Spoke to Columbia Records,” he penned on Instagram. “We are all good!”
The diss track notably sampled Prince’s 2000 Soul Train Awards speech while using an image of the late singer with the word “slave” across his cheek as the cut’s artwork. It’s a clear reference to Prince’s very famous dispute with Warner, to whom he was signed for 19 years. The act of writing slave across his cheek became a routine a sign of protest for the Purple One as he took on one of the more memorable and earlier fights against the major label system.
Outside of the lamenting on the track, Juicy J offered up no other details on his dispute with Columbia save for the disagreement over his forthcoming album.
A$AP Rocky Songs With Young Thug & Juicy J Allegedly Leak
A$AP Rocky hasn’t released new music in a minute but fans of the Harlem rapper found some highly-anticipated leaks hiding on the internet.
Ever since his run-in with Swedish police last year, A$AP Rocky has been taking it easy. The New York rapper released “Babushka Boi” and appeared as part of a few featured appearances, but that was basically it for his 2019 output. His fans had anticipated an album to complement his Injured Generation tour, but he ended up performing select choices from his experimental Testing project instead. Without releasing any new material in half a year, people have been going crazy for new material from the Harlem star and, upon searching for the goods online, some fans came across a couple of leaks.

As reported by HipHopNMore, the superstar fell victim to similar circumstances earlier in February when two tracks, titled “Blur” and “Death Wish,” allegedly were uploaded to the internet unofficially. It would appear as though the same thing has happened yet again but this time, Flacko is accompanied by two of his friends.
Two unreleased songs have allegedly been found on the web by fans of A$AP Rocky and they both have some help on them. The first is called “2 Piece” and it is rumoured to include Juicy J. The second is “Night School,” which is said to have a verse from Young Thug. We cannot confirm the existence of these leaked songs at this time.
In May, it will have been two years without an album from A$AP Rocky. Do you think he will bless us again this year?

Megan Thee Stallion Reveals Collabs For Debut Album "Suga"
Megan Thee Stallion is officially readying her debut album.
Megan Thee Stallion came in strong in 2019. Although she was just warming up, the Hot Girl movement dominated the summer and she became the next biggest star to come out. We’ve been anticipating her debut album since the release of Fever last year but it looks like Meg’s officially beginning the rollout for it.
Earlier today, she released her highly-anticipated new single, “B.I.T.C.H” which appears to be the latest drop from Suga. Speaking to Zane Lowe, Meg detailed the collaborations she has with The Neptunes after footage of her and Pharrell in the studio surfaced online.
“We lock in the studio for about four days and we got some fire. Like, he is so cool and he just, he calls me the Machine. Megan the Machine. Because I got in there and I was knocking them verses out so quick and knocking them songs out and he was like, ‘Dang,'” she recounted. “You gotta get in the studio and you gotta show Pharrell what you can do. So as quick as he knocking them out, I’m backdooring and knocking them out. So he was like ‘Oh, you a machine.” And I was like ‘Damn. Pharrell called me a machine. That’s crazy.'”
Additionally, she shared a few names that are on the project. Megan said she has a collab with SZA produced by Juicy J. Peep the clip below.
