The mysterious case of Tamla Horsford was closed after authorities claimed it was an accident, not finding any evidence of foul play. She attended an adult slumber party in 2018, being beaten and thrown off the balcony to her death.
This week, her family fired off an explosive letter that suggests she was murdered and people are opening their eyes to the tragedy.
After a review of her case, the family suspects that murder is a strong possibility. "Witness statements are in conflict. A potential suspect handled the body as well as the evidence prior to law enforcement arrival. Evidence was disposed of and no inquiry followed. The scene was not preserved. Evidence was inappropriately handled," says the family attorney. "A remarkable fact is that there were no photographs taken during the autopsy of Tamla's body. This had to have been done at someone's directive because such a practice is unheard of."
Further on in the letter, the Horsford family attorney states that Tamla was involved in a struggle with scratches on her arm.
50 Cent and T.I. have taken note of the suspect murder of Tamla Horsford, urging people to take action so her case can be re-opened.
"Where is the investigation on this one? SMH," asked 50 Cent.
A photo of Tamla and the seven white women she slept over with has been circulating online and over 500,000 people have signed a petition for the case to start up again.
Beyoncé Urges Fans To "Remain Aligned & Focused" In Fight For Justice
Beyoncé shared a message regarding the police killing of George Floyd, in which she reminded protestors and activists to “remain aligned and focused” in their fight for justice.
Beyoncé has chimed in once more on the police killing of George Floyd, this time with a message about how to properly fight for justice. As folks across the country and around the world continue to protest police brutality and racial injustice in the wake of George’s murder, many have come forward to criticize the manner in which some have chosen to express their outrage. Some expressed their disapproval for looting and violence, while others pointed out that the focus should be on the injustice and not how some are choosing to fight against it. On Wednesday (June 3rd), Beyoncé posted a photo of a massive crowd of protestors gathered in Minneapolis as they marched for George Floyd, and included a message about seeking justice.
“The world came together for George Floyd,” she wrote. “We know there is a long road ahead. Let’s remain aligned and focused in our call for real justice.” Beyoncé shared this message shortly after the three former officers involved in George Floyd’s death had officially been charged with aiding and abetting second degree murder and manslaughter. Former officer Derek Chauvin’s charge for third degree murder was also raised to second degree murder.

Earlier this week, in the midst of these ongoing protests, Beyoncé posted a video in which she expressed the collective need to get justice for George and all victims of this fatal police brutality. “No more senseless killings of human beings,” she said. “There have been too many times that we’ve seen these violent killings with no consequences.” She then encouraged her followers to sign the petitions in her bio seeking justice for George.
Cardi B Blasts Tomi Lahren For Criticizing Looting: "Mind Your Business"
Cardi B put Tomi Lahren in her place after the political pundit questioned the purpose of looting as a form of protest in the wake of George Floyd's murder.
Cardi B does not have time for Tomi Lahren's bad takes when yet another black man has just been killed by police. On Wednesday (May 27th), just two days after George Floyd was suffocated to death by Officer Derek Chauvin in Minneapolis sparking protests around the city, Tomi took to Twitter to share her thoughts on looting that nobody asked for. "How does looting, rioting and destroying your OWN community bring justice for anyone?" the political pundit tweeted, referring to the property damage enacted by protestors in order to make a statement.
Cardi, who has a history of beefing with Tomi and even infamously threatened to "dog walk" her, felt it her civic duty to shut her up. The rapper responded to her tweet the following day, pointing out the big picture and reminding Tomi what they're fighting against in the first place: horrific police brutality.
"How does targeting, profiling, beating and murdering black men with no consequence equal serving and protecting?" Cardi asked. "Who’s giving them justice and trust on cops ? Mind your business and eat your salad !" Later, Cardi shared her own reasons for supporting looting in a statement posted to her social media accounts.

"People are tired," she said. "So now this is what people have to resort to." Cardi also encouraged her followers to get informed on their local representatives and vote in local elections in order to spark change.
