Some of the best Jeopardy! contestants in history found themselves at a loss on Tuesday night, when a question about Kanye West's discography left all three of them stumped. At one point during a round of the game show, host Alex Trebek read out the clue, "'Follow God' and 'Closed on Sunday' are tracks on this 2019 Kanye West album." Despite the fact that the special was called Greatest Of All Time, the contestants Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter, and James Holzhauer, somehow all failed to come up with the correct answer, "What is Jesus Is King."
In the clip, Ken, Brad, and James are completely stumped, watching as they proceeded to lose several hundreds of dollars. Ken in particular appears visibly frustrated, although his Kanye shortcoming did not cause any significant damage to his end results. Ken went on to win the "Greatest of All Time" title with a grand prize total of $1 million. He gave a shoutout to infamous TV host and Jeopardy! creator, the late Merv Griffin, on Twitter. "Gotta give it up to the Big Man himself *points upward to heaven* Merv Griffin," Ken tweeted, along with a photo of himself with his fellow participants.
Strangely enough, this is not the first time that a question about one of Kanye's albums has proved difficult for Jeopardy! contestants. In 2016, Alex Trebek gave the players the clue, "Kanye West for giving us so many different versions to choose from of this early 2016 album." The answer, of course, was Life of Pablo, but the contestants didn't even give the question a shot.
Jeopardy! should definitely start screening its contestants for extensive Kanye knowledge from now on.

“Just Mercy” is a must-watch.
Considering Kim Kardashian‘s passion for legal justice and Kanye West‘s spiritual/gospel ways it makes all the sense that the couple was equally moved by the latest film Just Mercy starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx. The movie is based on a true story and follows lawyer Bryan Stevenson who heads to Alabama to defend a Black man, Walter McMillian, wrongfully convicted of murder.

The Yeezy colorways keep coming.
Despite starting out as an ultra-rare shoe, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 has turned into a sneaker that we can expect monthly drops from. Simply put, the 350 V2 is the centerpiece of the Yeezy brand and as the years go on, Kanye continues to provide fans with brand new colorways, even if those colorways look awfully similar to previous version. One of the most recent colorways to be teased is the “Cinder” model which will certainly be familiar to those who have been following our coverage of the Yeezy brand as of late.
Last year, Kanye West‘s brand dropped a triple-black version of the 350 V2 which is something people had been asking for, for years. Now, Yeezy is remixing that colorway and slapping a gum bottom onto the outsole. This new look is being called “Cinder” and thanks to @hanzuying, we have a few detailed images of what this sneaker will look like. As you can see, it contains all of the same elements as the “Black Static” model except this time, the gum outsole helps provide some contrast.
These are slated to drop in the Spring of this year so stay tuned for updates as we will be sure to bring them to you.
Kanye West & EMI Finally Settle Lawsuit Over Publishing Contract Dispute
Kanye’s legal dispute with music publishing company, EMI has come to a close.
Kanye West and music publishing company EMI notified the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on January 13th that they have “reached an agreement in principle resolving all issues” regarding their lawsuits over a publishing contract signed by Kanye in 2003. This legal battle began last January, when Kanye sued EMI for allegedly attempting to force him into essentially never retiring. He argued that, because it is illegal in California for a company to lock in an artist in a personal service contracts for more than seven years, EMI had enforced rights in violation of California law for more than eight years following the end of his contract. EMI has overseen Kanye’s catalogue since 2003, when Kanye was making College Dropout. The company retaliated two months later in March with their own counter-suit, however, citing Kanye’s claims as invalid because he had signed multiple contract extensions with them.

This past September, it appeared as though the two parties had reached a settlement, but EMI requested to re-open the case at the last minute in December. The judge assigned a deadline of January 13th, 2020, to reach an agreement, which both parties have succeeded in doing so. As long as neither Kanye nor EMI file motions to the contrary, the case will officially be closed on February 14th, 2020.

Kim Kardashian Trolls Tristan Thompson During Free Throw Attempt: Watch
Fan footage shows Kim trying to distract Thompson at the free throw line.
The Cleveland Cavaliers made the trip to Staples Center on Monday night for a matchup against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers - and you better believe Kim Kardashian had a court side seat to watch her sister's ex, Tristan Thompson. In fact, Kim was reportedly seen standing up and booing Thompson during one of his free throw attempts.
The Cavs' center posted a double-double with 17 points and 10 assists, but it wasn't nearly enough to compete with the Lake Show last night. Led by LeBron's game-high 31 points, L.A. coasted to a 128-99 victory, marking their ninth straight win.
Following the loss, Thompson spoke about the challenge of guarding his former teammate.
"He [LeBron] made some 3s to get himself going, but he did a good job of getting his teammates involved," Thompson said, per ESPN. "I accept the challenge. It's fun playing against the best player of our generation, and probably one of the best of all time. I love it."
The Cavs fell to 12-28 on the season as a result of Monday's loss, which puts them among the bottom four teams in the league. Up next is another visit to Staples Center on Tuesday night as they do battle with Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers. Kim and Kanye gonna show up for round two?

50 Cent & Snoop Dogg Troll Kanye West For Falling Off Horse, Kim K Tells Whole Story
The man in the video is not Kanye West.
A video that went viral over the weekend appeared to show Kanye West riding a horse in the middle of his Sunday Service ceremony. After struggling to gain control of the animal, the man atop toppled over and completely wiped out, likely suffering some minor injuries as a result of the hard fall. People began to spread the news like wildfire, peddling headlines like such: "Kanye West Falls Off Horse In The Middle Of Sunday Service." However, there was no such incident. Yeezy wasn't actually the man on top of the beast, leading Kim Kardashian to dispell those rumors and tell the true story. She got to the root of the issue after 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg had done their part in spreading the false narrative though.
Reposting a video that claims Kanye West is the man in the clip, both social media trolls entered the chat with their own versions of what happened. 50 Cent shared the video with the following caption, trying to understand why exactly a horse was in church in the first place: "Wait I don’t understand, why was he on the horse." On the other side of the spectrum, Snoop Dogg seemed to be fully aware that Ye was not actually pictured, saying: "Who is that n***a on dat nare."
Kim Kardashian took control of the fake news by urging the media to fact-check their stories before hitting the "publish" button. "This is not Kanye and this is not the Sunday Service Choir," said Kim before sharing a flurry of legitimate moments from Sunday Service this week. How funny would it have been if this actually was Kanye?

The necklace in question is a vintage Cartier piece that features a personalized engraving inspired by an image and text that Kanye sent to his wife at one point.

The text featured in the design reads, “This your life/ Married with four kids/ Get people out of jail/ Cover of Vogue/ Go to church every week with your family/ Dreams come true.”
