For those that have been hankering for new music by Kevin McCall, you're going to have to wait a little while longer. The troubled artist has faced a few heavy obstacles as of late. The last year has proven to be a difficult one for Kevin McCall, more personally than professionally. He's been entangled in multiple legal dramas involving domestic violence, assault, and trespassing allegations. 

 McCall's legal issues with ex-girlfriend Eva Marcille has taken center stage as he has sued the Real Housewives of Atlanta star for custody of their daughter. She claims he also petitioned for her to not only turn over custody but to pay him child support, as well. After McCall was involved in a physical altercation with a court officer while on his way to a custody hearing, he was arrested and his case was dismissed. Eva would later admit that McCall hasn't been involved in their daughter Marley Rae's life for years and she recognizes Eva's husband Michael Sterling as her father.

This doesn't mean that McCall is giving up on seeing his daughter, even though Eva has stated that there is a restraining order in place against him. McCall took to Twitter that he's on a music strike as he refuses to share his artistry with the world until changes are put in place. "No new music until I see my children. I cant choose the world over them," the singer-songwriter wrote. It also seemed as if he took a jab at Eva without naming her outright, but that's just speculative. "I'll figure out music when I have visitation with police around to protect us from the lies and abuse the mothers have put us thru the past 6 years...I've won this fight with my oldest. I'll win again. JESUS." Check out his tweet below.

Days after calling Eva Marcille a “baby momma terrorist” on social media, troubled R&B singer Kevin McCall is at again with the war of words against his ex-girl. This time, he now claims the RHOA star is with her current husband Michael Sterling for all the wrong reasons.

Sharing his opinion once again on a recent IG Story — someone should really take this dude’s phone away for a bit! — Kev posted a screengrab of a text convo he had with someone believed to be a random fan. “GM she wrong I can see it in your baby eyes she not happy.. your baby don’t like him,” wrote the commenter, to which the “No BS” singer replied by saying, “Why ppl say that he seem coo… he may not even know he’s being used so I give him the benefit of the doubt I don’t hate Mike Sterling at all and I pray he Don’t ever Give me a reason to.” This conversation was overlaid with an extensive black bubble message from Kevin that read “Why do people try so hard to prove they … don’t like their ex, instead of ignoring them all together… why does it have to be something with the ex in order for you to have support for slandering or bashing them, doesn’t your new Man realize, you only put energy into things you want, you don’t put energy into things that you don’t want … you actually do the opposite. My ex gotta find a better way to move on this aint it.”

Eva hasn’t responded to his latest jab towards her and Mike, not has she done to any of his social media antics aside from that recent televised interview with Wendy Williams. We’re praying McCall can get over this hurt sooner than later, for the sake of their daughter together and his own sanity.

Kevin McCall went after his ex, Eva Marcille, on social media, claiming that she only has children so for financial gain through child support checks. The artist posted a screenshot of an article on his Instagram story that bore the title, “Child support is 18 years of easy money: Women reveal the REAL reasons why they’ve lied about being on the Pill – and many DON’T regret what they’ve done.” In the caption, he wrote, “Some women have children for a check….some of them out here working on baby number 3 and still talking about their Ex….having babies isn’t a career.”

He didn’t stop there, but instead posted another story sharing his own words in regards to the topic. “Stop using child support to help you maintain being a BABY Momma terrorist,” he ranted. “Its an easy check for 18 years I get it…but you on baby number 4 and complaining about your 1 st child .. are you hiding some strong feelings? If not focus on your two new babies and leave your old BABY DADDY ALONE HAHAA.” Of course, it’s fairly evident that Kevin’s sentiments are directed towards his baby mother, Eva Marcille, with whom he shares a daughter by the name of Marley Rae. The two of them were involved in a custody battle over Marley last year, which began when Kevin attempted to gain full custody of their daughter. Eva fired back, accusing him of being dangerous and never paying child support, and demanded that the case be dismissed. The custody arrangement remained in tact, and Eva even went on to legally change Marley’s last name from McCall to Sterling, the last name belonging to her current husband, Michael. Eva and Michael tied the knot back in 2018, and they recently welcomed their second child together. Kevin recently expressed interest in going to therapy with Eva, believing that it might solve their problems.

The back and forth saga between Kevin McCall and Eva Marcille has been going on long enough, and now it looks like the troubled R&B singer may be down to finally reconcile with the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star for the sake of their child by going to therapy.

It’s been years since the two have been together, seen above attending the BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards in New York City back in 2013. Now you’d be hard-pressed to get Eva to even look at a photo of Kevin, as she had a hard time doing when visiting The Wendy Williams Show last week. In that conversation, she spoke to Wendy about the process of getting her daughter’s last name legally changed to the one she shares with current husband Michael Sterling. Fellow R&B singer Lyfe Jennings made a comment on the whole ordeal social media, writing on top of a screengrab from an episode of RHOA that said, “I think is so wack. Changing ya daughters last name from her father’s to somebody else’s. Especially when the father tries to see her. The daughter dont have anything to do with their beef. And what kind of man allows that????? Sh*t pissed me off. I expected better out of Eva.. sh*t personal to me!!! I’ve been there.”

McCall caught wind of Lyfe’s comments and added his own IG Stories, writing the following message:

“I feel therapy is needed for all 3 of us honestly.. we’ve let society entertainment and media exploit our family problems instead of being solution based. Your family is under attack next. Pray and praise God In the midst.”

Although therapy may be hard given the current restraining order Eva has against Kevin, we’ll always be rooting for reconciliation when kids are involved. We hope they find a mutual middle ground for the sake of their family structure. It’s been a while since we’ve heard any news about Kevin McCall‘s legal troubles. Years ago, the singer-songwriter seemed to be at the top of his game as he worked with some major players in the music industry, but recently his arrests have overshadowed his accomplishments. McCall has been estranged from his daughter Marley Rae whom he shares with Real Housewives of Atlanta star Eva Marcille, and according to the model, her ex has never been in their daughter’s life.

Eva has openly spoken out about her relationship with McCall and the alleged physical abuse she endured while they were together. She had Marley’s last name changed to that of her husband Michael Sterling, a move that unsurprisingly displeased Kevin. On Thursday (February 27), Eva visited The Wendy Williams Show and talked about her ex.

“Marley doesn’t even know,” Eva admitted. “Marley has no idea… She just turned six and she’ll know at some point, but that’s my baby and that’s Mike’s baby and that’s our first kid. He raised her.” Wendy added that Eva’s husband is currently going through the legal process to formally adopt Marley as his own.

“We legally changed her name this past year. We went through a lot to do it,” Eva added. “The name change isn’t legal, so now we have to go through the adoption process and I mean, [Kevin] is making it a little bit easier for us, acting all crazy in the public. I knew it behind closed doors.” Eva explained that Kevin—or “Marley’s donor,” as she calls him—filed a lawsuit against her for custody of Marley, child support, and to change Marley’s last name back to McCall.

“He went to court to see the judge and [acted] a whole fool and fought a sheriff deputy, [tumbled] down an escalator…broke the man’s glasses,” Eva said of Kevin’s recent arrest. “He has three felony counts against him right now in Georgia and the judge threw out our case with prejudice so he cannot try to get custody of [Marley] again.” Watch Eva Marcille’s interview with The Wendy Williams Show below.

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard anything on Kevin McCall and his ex Eva Marcille. For a while there, Kevin was posting questionable shares to Instagram about Chris Brown that coincided with his court arrest when he was seeking to get custody of his daughter he shares with Eva. The custody battle has since been dropped and before the matter, Eva made it clear just what she thought of her baby father. “I guess while [Kevin] was going into court he got into a fight with security because he’s crazy, like I’ve told the world a million times,” she said.

Eva also previously detailed how she wanted to change their daughter’s last name and on the recent episode of RHOA you can see her taking the necessary steps. Marley Rae will now have the last name of Eva’s husband, Michael Sterling who she has two sons with. Kevin posted a screenshot of a DM he received on Instagram of someone asking him how he feels about his daughter’s name change. 

“How did u feel about ur baby officially changing her last name to sterling, and in national tv,” the user asked, leading Kevin to respond: “I don’t watch TV im a star. That happened 6 months ago I don’t re live stuff just because it’s “news to you” lol sorry try again.”

It’s clear that 2019 was a wild ride for Kevin McCall, and the singer is beginning 2020 with just as much controversy. Last year, McCall was arrested on domestic violence charges, sued his ex Eva Marcille for custody of their daughter even though he reportedly hasn’t seen the little girl in years, got arrested for trespassing, accused Drake and Tank of copying his collaboration with Chris Brown, trolled Jess Hilarious, and then got into a physical altercation with a courthouse security guard while he was on his way to his custody hearing. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

McCall ended 2019 with news that his custody lawsuit was reportedly dismissed by a Georgia judge because the singer needed to take up his grievances with a California courthouse, and weeks after receiving the news, he took to Instagram to jibe his ex. “What do u get when u cross the term ‘police’ with let’s say, a random WORD like – let’s say ‘escort’ just randomly,” he reportedly said.

“So what do u get when u cross the word ‘Police’ and ‘Escort’. Answer : PIG-FORD (Yeah I just for idea from the swipe left freestyle just for the F of it. You smart dummy.” For clarity. Eva’s maiden name is Pigford. This isn’t the first time he’s taken aim at Eva on social media. McCall has shared photos of her with strange captions and ranted about his ex online. Eva has spoken openly about the alleged domestic violence she’s endured at the hands of McCall, claims she has a restraining order against him, and stated she regularly moves homes because she doesn’t feel safe.
