Is it safe to call Khia the queen of shade? For the last several months, she has come after Trina, Bobby Lytes, and tons of others in her own unique fashion. Her charisma and nerve tell the entire story as she captivates her audience with unique disses and reads that always seem to end up in the headlines.

As she takes a short break from Trina, Khia found herself dragging Nicki Minaj for her collaboration with Tekashi 6ix9ine before one post caught fans off-guard.

All week long, B. Simone has been taking heat for claiming that she would never date a man who works a 9-5 job. An office job is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, Tory Lanez reminded her that some people who work regular careers make more money than artists and entertainers. After the fiasco, Khia came for B. Simone and warned her that more was coming.

"Y’all Been Sending This Whoraaaa In To The Docket," wrote the artist on Twitter, posting a picture of B. Simone and referring to the drama on social media. "Yall Know I Have A Few Encouraging Words For Bum Simone. Girullll."

Ever since Khia brought up battling Trina, the two have been trading barbs online. Though Trina declined the battle claiming that she needs someone on her level, she’s still found herself online throwing shade at Khia. This has been going on for the entirety of quarantine and even though the rules are being let loose a bit in certain states, Khia’s still pondering on whether she’ll actually have to box Trina in real life.

If you recall, Trina released a hilarious TikTok video where she motioned to the possibility of scrapping with Khia. Though it was all in good fun, apparently, Khia’s issued a response with a list of charges to compare to “Da Baddest Bitch” rapper. “You wanna make a TikTok pretending you want to box? Bitch, in your 365 years — dog years, that is — of livin’, who have you ever fought?” Khia asked. “Actin’ like you want to throw hands and you ain’t got none naan battery charge.”

Khia insinuated that if they were to come to blows, Trina would end up running away like Trina “was runnin’ from that challenge.” But then, she started reading a piece of paper as if she was a judge. “We the people say run that record and let’s see how many assault charges you got. Not naan, hoe. Just assault with a deadly pussy that killed and shot so many n***as,” she added.

The Instagram “Verzuz” battles have provided an endless amount of entertainment as fans get to celebrate their favorite artists but we can’t say there hasn’t been any tension. I mean, there was the whole French Montana vs Kendrick Lamar thing but beyond that, Trina and Khia have been going at it. Khia, famously known for “My Neck, My Back,” has been taking aim at Trina long before the IG Battle but Da Baddest Bitch rapper made it abundantly clear that they won’t be facing off in a Verzuz battle.

As the two continued to trade shots at each other, Khia recently went on another tirade against Trina. “We can check the numbers and I run you each and every mothaf*ckin’ time. I swallowed you whole then, and I’m swallowing you whole now,” she said in a rant. 

Trina has since responded but it appears that she’s not necessarily down for the name-calling. Perhaps it’s due to the fact that she has a radio show now so keeping a more family-friendly image is preferred in the workplace. That being said, Trina took to TikTok with her co-host Big Mack where she essentially reenacted getting ready for a fight against Khia. We’ve yet to hear from Khia but we’ll keep you posted. The animosity between Khia and Trina has been longstanding. Why the two women have been at odds for so long is debatable, but what is known is the insults hurled from both parties have been sharp as fine blades. Recently, Khia called out her foe by stating that she wanted to go head-to-head with Trina in a Verzuz battle. With the history between these two, it’s doubtful that Swizz Beatz and Timbaland will give them a platform, but it doesn’t make any difference; no matter how it happens, Khia declared that she wanted all the smoke.

Trina responded to Khia’s request on her radio show where she put her foot down and told listeners that she wasn’t going to shrink herself to compete against anyone who isn’t near her level. It didn’t take long for Khia to get wind of Trina’s reply, and she bit back with a vengeance. “Now, I know you’re still mourning the death of your mammy, you’re still grieving,” Khia said of Trina’s late mother who passed away last year after a long battle with cancer. “So Imma let you have your little burst of confusion and let you slide when you act like you don’t know a b*tch. You ain’t gon’ address a b*tch, but you sat up there and talked about a b*tch for 30 goddamn minutes.”

Khia said that Trina was only acting upset because she doesn’t want to battle her. She called the Miami rapper a “flopping whore” and stated that no one is “checking for” her, either. “We can check the numbers and I run you each and every mothaf*ckin’ time. Thanks to the popularization of online battles like those of Verzuz, the brainchild of Swizz Beatz and Timbaland, artists have been granted yet another platform to assert their domination over an opponent. At least, that’s what Khia had in mind when she recently challenged Trina to a digital duel, warning the Slip-N-Slide rapper that she had “485 hits to put on your ass, bitch.”

Unfortunately for the author behind “My Neck My Back,” the internet seemed to think little of her confident declaration, emerging in droves to rally behind Trina — herself a legendary figure in Miami, and hip-hop in general. And while some felt that Khia could put up some semblance of a fight, the consensus seemed to paint this potential battle as heavily one-sided in Trina’s favor.

Now, Trina has issued a response of her own, making it clear that she has no interest in going head to head with Khia — nor does she feel it’s even a remotely challenging prospect. “I’m not stepping off my throne to address no bum, no chicks who are beneath me, and nobody who hasn’t worked as hard as me for anything,” she states, her tone venomous. “When you girls are calling my name, you want to battle, make sure you have ten hits. Make you sure have enough records. Make sure you’re on my level if you think you want to go toe to toe with me.” 

Fabolous recently said he doesn't think artists should pick who they go up against during these Instagram Live Battles, but that hasn't stopped people from calling out their fellow entertainers. The animosity between Khia and Trina has been well-documented for years, and the "My Neck, My Back" rapper continues to antagonize her foe. This time, Khia wants all the smoke, and she wants to take their beef to IG Live.

A clip of Khia speaking with someone about previous battles began to circulate on Tuesday (May 5) and it sounded as if the rapper wasn't familiar with the ongoing trend. She asked how they navigate the IG Battles and got excited at the prospect of doing one of her own. "Oh, I wish somebody would do—who want to try me like that?" Khia said enthusiastically. "Who?!" While Khia was caught up in her own laughter, the person on the line said, "Trina." Then, Khia called out Trina and asked if she wanted to go head-to-head. "I got 285 hits to put on your ass."

Trina may have not responded to the request, but social media was swift. Initially, fans were quick to say that Khia only has one real hit record, but her fans chimed in to defend the rapper by saying she is well equipped to go up against Trina.
