Diddy continues to remember his late mentor, Andre Harrell, and late ex and mother of his children, Kim Porter. Following the passing of Andre, a music exec and founder of Uptown Records who discovered Diddy and went on to launch his career, earlier this month, Diddy has been honouring his late friend with a number of heartfelt tributes. Most recently, he took to Instagram to share a clip of Andre dancing with Diddy's ex partner, Kim Porter, as they welcomed in the New Year in 2018. Kim passed away in November later that same year from pneumonia.
"SAVE ME A DANCE!! @ladykp @andreharrell," Diddy wrote on the bittersweet clip, followed by the broken heart emoji. "I PROMISE Y’ALL I’M GOING TO FINISH WHAT WE STARTED!!! REST IN POWER. Shit done got REAL!!!!"

Diddy Calls Kim Porter "The One" As He Reveals Rose Garden Monument
Diddy expressed remorse for deciding to “[play] around” instead of locking down the love of his life, Kim Porter, before she passed away.
It came as a shock to the world when news circulated that Kim Porter had passed away. The mother of four reportedly died in her sleep in November 2018 from a lung infection brought on by pneumonia. This was, of course, devastating news to her family and loved ones, and since that time, Diddy has given the public a glimpse into how his blended family, the Combs Cartel, have been progressing in the years that followed.

As he prepared to show the monument, he gave a bit of advice to viewers. “This is a special announcement, a PSA to all the players, all the playboys. When you find that one, don’t be playing around with it,” Diddy said. “It’s rare, somebody that’s going to understand you and be there for you unconditionally. Sometimes you can be in the game getting hot and you could just want to experience everything. I definitely feel like, as a man, I f*cked up on that.”
Diddy went on to say that he felt as if Kim Porter was “the one” for him, but instead, he decided to “[play] around.” He added that now, God is in charge, and the experience has forced Diddy to step up as a man and make some necessary changes in his life. The media mogul went on to give viewers a look at a monument that he bought for Kim just a few years before she passed away. The large, metal statue was constructed by using Kim’s measurements and sits in the family’s rose garden. Diddy says he likes to visit there often to talk to Kim. Diddy Spotted On Jet Ski With Model Jordan Ozuna: Report
Bringing in the new year with a splash.
The new year celebrations continue for Diddy. The entertainment mogul has been in Miami enjoying a life of luxury with DJ Khaled, Future, Meek Mill, and others. The group has reportedly been securing deals and DJ Khaled hinted that they may have even hit the studio to crank out a hit. While Meek Mill’s 2020 comment that was caught on camera by Khaled may have been the topic of discussion on Thursday, things shifted Diddy’s way on Friday when he was spotted on a jetski with a mystery woman.
Throughout 2019, Diddy’s love life often made headlines. The Bad Boy mogul was honest about still mourning the death of Kim Porter, who passed away suddenly in November 2018. His relationship with Cassie was over after the pair had been together for over 10 years, and in one year Cassie got engaged, married, and had a baby. Then, there were the rumors that the 50-year-old rapper had begun a relationship with Steve Harvey’s 23-year-old stepdaughter Lori Harvey, but after a few months, that fizzled out.
Plenty of people have made Diddy the butt of their jokes over Cassie or Lori, but it’s clear that it isn’t difficult for the almost-billionaire to find companionship. While jet skiing in Florida with his folks, Diddy was with a woman that some people initially mistook as Rihanna. However, The Shade Room quickly shared more pictures of the mystery lady who has been identified as a model named Jordan Ozuna. The former Las Vegas cocktail waitress turned model is rumored to have been linked to a few celebrities like Tyga, Justin Bieber, and Kourtney Kardashian’s on-again-off-again beau Younes Bendjima. Diddy Opens Up About "Dark Depression" In Emotional 2020 PSA
Diddy reflects on one of his toughest years yet.
Though many deemed 2019 an evening of celebration, others spent New Year's Eve in a state of reflection. One such person was Diddy, who took to Instagram to issue an emotionally honest PSA about his own year-long battle with depression. "2019 was a crazy year," begins Diddy, addressing his fans and followers. "It was a great year for some of us and for some of us that shit was really, really, really hard man. It was a hard year. I'm going to tell everybody that went through a shift, had a hard year, or dealt with heartbreak or loss or not knowing where they're going, depression. I even got affected. 2019 was the year I honestly felt I wanted to give up."

He is, of course, referring to the tragic loss of Kim Porter, the mother of three of his children. Yet Diddy has proven himself as resilient as anyone, never one to let the negative energy overcome him; the man did name himself Love, after all. "But there's this thing where God's not going to put nothing on you that you can't bear," he continues. "For a whole year I went through a state of dark depression. I'm telling you this because I had so many people to help me. To help lift me up."
"There's so many people dealing with depression," he explains. "Nobody's immune to it. No matter how much money or success you have. Depression is at an all-time high. Even I experienced it this year. Before we go into 2020--we need each other. We gotta lift each other up. Lift it up! Anytime you see somebody feeling down, lift them up! We gotta all do our part. We all going to have some good years and some bad years. But I'm ready for 2020."
