Anyone who's been keeping up with this season of Love & Hip Hop: New York knows how chaotic it's been. Cyn Santana, Joe Budden, and Tahiry are involved in some major drama with Erica Mena, who got hitched to Safaree, but not before Safaree invited Erica's ex, Rich Dollaz, to his bachelor party. The whole season is a mess that you just can't look away from, and this week, some bad blood from the past resurfaced. This year, Kimbella, Chrissy Lampkin, and Yandy Smith are all on the same show, which was already guaranteed to cause trouble. They proved that to be true this week when Chrissy and Kimbella's iconic brawl ten years prior was the topic of conversation.
As you may recall, a whole decade ago, Chrissy and Kimbella threw hands on L&HHNY in one of the first major reality TV fights in history, which resulted in Chrissy dragging Kimbella across the carpet. When Kim brought the fight up, she inexplicably pointed fingers at Yandy, of all people, instead of Chrissy. Kim confronted Yandy about the ass-whooping, blaming her for not jumping in to defend her all those years ago and calling Yandy all kinds of "fake."
Naturally, Kim's questionable actions got her dragged by viewers on Twitter, who tried to make sense of her decision to turn on Yandy but be cool with Chrissy, the person who actually beat her up.
LHHNY Star Mendeecees Prison Release Conditions: Here Are The Details
Yandy’s hubby isn’t a free man just yet.
Many of you have by now already heard of Love & Hip Hop: New York star Mendeecees’ early release from prison yesterday. While the news had social media chattering extensively about Yandy’s extravagant “Cruella de Vil-inspired” fur coat in the video they posted together, or what they’d be doing that night as a married couple that haven’t seen each other physically in a few years, the more interesting news is actually what he’ll have to endure as a newly-released parolee.
Bossip reports that Mendeecees, seen throwing away his pre-prison clothes and Timbs in the aforementioned video with Yandy by his side (seen above), is not technically a free man as opposed to what’s been widely reported. While he has in fact been granted early release after serving close to half of his eight to ten-year sentence, Mendeecees will have to serve the remaining nine months in either a halfway house or on house arrest. While the spokesperson for the Federal Bureau of Prisons who confirmed this news with Bossip didn’t give specific details on what type of parole conditions he was issued, the site does say he was transferred to the New York Residential Reentry Management Office following his release on January 29.
Mendeecees will officially be released on Oct. 14, 2020, as confirmed the Bureau of Prisons. Prayers up!
Erica Mena Addresses Fears Of Having Baby No. 2: "I Didn’t Wanna Do It All Again Alone"
As everyone watches the “wedding event of the season,” Erica Mena took to IG to unveil what it’s like being a new mommy again.
As everyone watches her get married to Safaree Samuels on the new episode of Love & Hip-Hop: New York airing tonight on VH1, Erica Mena (Samuels!) took a quick moment before the hype to explain what it’s like becoming a new mom 13 years after giving birth to her first child. While many women dream of the day they’ll have baby no. 2 — congrats again, Christina Milian! — for Erica, she simply didn’t think it was even possible.
“I never thought I would have another baby solely because I didn’t wanna do it all again alone,” Mena-Samuels wrote to her over four million Instagram followers. Of course, she later found out the good old saying that goes something like “what’s meant for you can’t be taken away,” finishing off her caption by writing, “God said YES thirteen years later.” Of course, we’re sure she wasn’t expecting The Most High to make that moment also come with a hit reality series and a whole wedding special broadcasted on nationwide primetime television, but what’s life without a few interesting surprises.
Congrats to the beautiful Erica Mena-Samuels and her hubby Safaree Samuels! Watch a preview of the extravagant wedding ceremony that went down last October below, which officially airs tonight in the new episode of Love & Hip Hop: New York:
Erica Mena Loses It After Safaree Invites Her "Love & Hip-Hop" Ex To Bachelor Party
Erica Mena was not happy that Rich Dollaz was in the building.
Now that Love & Hip Hop: New York is back on, we can follow some of our favorite drama-filled narratives to our heart's desire. Although Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena have been sharing much of their private life on social media for fans to follow, the real tea is only available on your small screen through the reality series that boosted them back into the public eye. Ever since they made their debut as a couple, people assumed that they were just stunting for the purpose of the show's ratings but, after revealing that they're getting married and have a baby on the way, it's apparent that their love is the real thing. We all know that fights between loved ones can actually bring us closer so we're hoping that the argument that Erica and Safaree was handled effectively when they returned to the crib after this incident.

Enjoying their joint bachelor and bachelorette parties, Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels were the stars of the show on the most recent episode of Love & Hip Hop: New York. While you would like this sort of event to be one to remember, it ended up being exactly that for all the wrong reasons. As reported by Bossip, Rich Dollaz, Mena's ex-boyfriend, was present for the festivities and it would appear as though he was invited by Safaree. Of course, Erica lost her mind and now, social media is going after both sides of the couple.
Do you think these two will last or are they doomed for failure?
