"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Maurice Fayne, who goes by the name Arkansas Mo, is in some hot water with the law after allegedly using a COVID-19 relief loan to buy millions of dollars worth of jewelry. Last month, Mo had requested a loan of $3,725,500 from a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), which helps to cover up to eight weeks of payroll costs, interest on mortgages, rent, and utilities for small businesses amid the coronavirus pandemic. Mo sought out this loan to protect his Flame Trucking business, claiming that the money would be used to "retain workers and maintain payroll or make mortgage interest payments, lease payments, and utility payments, as specified under the Paycheck Protection Program Rule." He was ultimately granted $2,045,800 from the United Community Bank, a good portion of which he allegedly used for personal expenses.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Mo has been accused of spending over $1.5 million of the loan to buy $85,000 worth of jewelry, including a Rolex Presidential watch, a diamond bracelet, and a 5.73 carat diamond ring. He also allegedly used $40,000 of the loan to pay child support.
Mo denied all of these accusations, but when the feds searched his house, he didn't look so good. They found the aforementioned jewelry, and seized $80,000 cash as well as three bank accounts that Mo had allegedly used to transfer $503,000 of the PPP funds into. On Wednesday (May 13th), he was arrested on federal bank fraud charges. It is not yet known when he will return to court for his next appearance.
"The defendant allegedly stole money meant to assist hard-hit employees and businesses during these difficult times, and instead greedily used the money to bankroll his lavish purchases of jewelry and other personal items," said Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division, Brian A. Benczkowski. "The department will remain steadfast in our efforts to root out and prosecute frauds against the Paycheck Protection Program."

Peter Gunz Didn’t Like Lyfe Jennings Flirting With Amina Buddafly On IG
Peter Gunz & Lyfe Jennings traded a few words after the singer flirted with Peter’s ex, Amina Buddafly, on Instagram.
This quarantine has sparked some unlikely occurrences in pop culture but an Instagram beef between Peter Gunz and Lyfe Jennings was the last thing anyone expected. Love & Hip Hop fans watched the drama between Peter Gunz, Amina Buddafly, and Tara Wallace years ago. While their cheating scandal was what helped make the VH1 series the hit it is today, the trio is currently on better terms and co-parenting their children as peacefully as possible. Amina released a new song that featured her “Uptown Baby” ex, so she wanted to show the song some love by sharing a TikTok video to IG.

Then, Lyfe Jennings slid in the comments with a little flirt action by writing, “What if I said…,” causing Peter to swoop in. “Trust me I’ve said it all… lol,” he replied. Lyfe took it in stride and added, “Can’t we all just get along lol we both have emotions for her.” He then directed his attention back to Amina with, “Hey bae.” Peter wasn’t having it.
“I think not brother that’s all you but my girls are all mine.. Knock yourself out I’m an extremely hard act to follow you can ask someone else we have in common.. lol.” Who that “someone else” is will remain a mystery, but these two continued to go back-and-forth. Peter Gunz told Lyfe to “ask your bae [Amina]” about his reputation, but Lyfe let him know that “I don’t ask women about n*ggas. If I got a question I ask the n*gga. In person.” There was no real resolve to this one, but check out the exchange in its entirety below.
"Love & Hip Hop" Star Sophia Body Responds To Drake’s Attacks
“Love & Hip Hop” star Sophia Body is floored that Drake is still addressing her after his recent comments that she “ain’t got sh*t going.”
Former Love & Hip Hop star Sophia Body cannot comprehend why Drake continues to speak on her after the rapper replied to a fan’s comment telling them that Sophia “ain’t got sh*t going.” Earlier today, Drizzy took it upon himself to let his feelings about the former video vixen and fellow Toronto native be known to the public. After a fan of Sophia’s replied to her comment on Instagram asking her why she never followed them back after they met on the train in the Bronx, Drake proceeded to let that fan know, “don’t worry she’ll be there for 20+ more years same seat you’ll catch her one day she ain’t got sh*t going.”
At first, it might seem totally out of the blue for Drake to possess such strong feelings about a relatively unknown person, but it turns out the two have a bit of a history. Sophia took to Instagram live to discuss said history and to express her disbelief that someone of Drake’s stature is still keeping her name in his mouth.
“He is super corny for that,” Sophia agreed with one of her viewers about Drake’s comment. “Like what grown ass multi-millionaire billionaire is gonna keep addressing me? He keeps addressing me! But I’m not doing sh*t. If I wasn’t doing sh*t you’d forget about me. Right? If I wasn’t doing sh*t, one would forget about me, but he’s still ‘@ing’ me. Like I don’t get it.”

In another clip during the same live stream, Sophia ensures her viewers that she’s well-aware that she’s “a nobody compared to Drake” but points out that “this is not the first time he’s acknowledged me” even though “I’ve never said anything bad about him.” However, she goes on to explain that she has in fact said in the past that she feels Drake’s OVO fest “should be on a different day as the Caribana” festival in Toronto “so people will have a reason and the will and the want to come to Toronto for more than one event.” She also admits to saying that OVO fest “takes away from the authenticity of Caribana, which is facts…but I never said it in a f*cked up way.”

Sophia fails to mention that she’s also accused Drake of biting Young Thug‘s flow on “Mob Ties,” which prompted Drake to call her a “bitter f*cking weirdo” who was “begging and reaching as usual.” Drake has yet to comment on her latest response.
Trick Daddy Goes Off On Trina’s Former Manager: "Imma Break Your Jaw"
Trick Daddy wasn’t playing any games with Trina’s former business partner Julian Boothe who Trina claims scammed her out of money meant for her album.
One place where a fight is guaranteed to take place is a Love & Hip Hop reunion special. The Miami cast is finishing up their latest season, and the reunion didn’t disappoint. Hosted by Fox Soul‘s Claudia Jordan, the Love & Hip Hop Miami cast joined together to look back on the ins and outs of their drama-filled season.
Julilan Boothe, manager to Trina and Amara La Negra, has faced some serious accusations. Trina claimed that Jullian, her business partner, scammed her after he stole money that was supposed to be spent on her last album, The One. During the reunion, Jullian came face-to-face with his accusers, and the conversation sent Trick Daddy over the edge.
After leaving the stage, an irate Trick Daddy returned and let his frustrations be felt. “Stop playin’ crazy like you don’t know what the f*ck is going on,” Trick said. “You remember selling songs of mine overseas?” At first, Jullian asks him what he’s talking about. Then he asks Trick, “Did you not get paid every dollar?” “No!” the rapper replies.
“Man, Imma break your jaw soon as I get a chance,” Trick continues. “You a **** ass liar… Sittin’ up here lying. I’ll make you leave Miami ****!” More expletives were shouted by Trick Daddy while Julian sat in stunned silence. Check out Trick Daddy lay down the law below.
Tommie Lee Reveals Sexy Teaser To Zeus Reality Series "Tommie Sh*t"
Tommie Lee also shared that “Tommie Sh*t” is produced by “Love & Hip Hop” mogul Mona Scott-Young & former “Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman.
The Zeus Network continues to stake its claim in the reality television world, this time by adding a series starring former Love & Hip Hop bad girl Tommie Lee. Years ago, the model was booted from VH1’s famed reality series because of verbal and physical altercations between Tommie and the production crew. She would later tell us in an exclusive interview that she believes people got the wrong impression about her character from the reality series, but Tommie Lee is partnering once again with Love & Hip Hop producer Mona Scott-Young for her own show titled Tommie Sh*t.

Rasheeda Frost Slams Critics Who Trash Her For Taking Cheating Husband Back
Rasheeda Frost and her husband Kirk will soon celebrate 20 years together, but the rapper has gone through serious trials to make it this far.
Fans thought Rasheeda Frost and husband Kirk Frost were headed to divorce court after it came to light that he'd gotten a stripper pregnant. Love & Hip Hop Atlanta viewers watched as Kirk got himself caught in a trap after he cheated on his wife and impregnated Jasmine Washington, an exotic dancer in the ATL. Kirk questioned whether or not he was the father, but a DNA proved that he was, indeed, the dad of their son Kannon.
While viewers yelled at their screens for the rapper to kick Kirk to the curb, she made the difficult decision to reconcile and work on their relationship. This year, the pair, who share two sons together, is celebrating 20 years of marriage, and in an interview with ESSENCE, Rasheeda had quite a bit to say about critics who chastised her for staying with her husband and helping to raise his lovechild.
"I’m going to be honest with you — a lot of times, people who speak on that could never wear my shoes," Rasheeda told the publication. "A lot of women haven’t even been in a relationship for five minutes, let alone 20 years. So you can’t speak on the decisions that I make. At the end of the day, it’s my life. And I never let anybody’s opinion sway me in a direction. All I did is pray and follow my heart. And if nobody likes it, don’t follow me and don’t leave any comments. Something you deal with might be something I wouldn’t deal with, but it’s not for me to tell you what to do."
On a later season of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, Rasheeda admitted that there both she and Kirk had been unfaithful during their marriage. "I haven’t always been perfect and neither has he," she told ESSENCE. "We’ve been through our share of a lot of different things, but you’re either going to fight or you’re going to let it go. That’s just the end of it. We fought for ours." Watch Rasheeda and Jasmine's tense confrontation on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta below.
Shay Johnson Says Lil Scrappy Got Erica Dixon On "LHH" To Get Off Child Support
Shay Johnson appeared on "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" with ex Lil Scrappy back in 2012, but she revealed she was the reason he was on the show in the first place.
A walk down Love & Hip Hop Atlanta memory lane with Shay Johnson had the reality star sharing a bit of background information about her former flame Lil Scrappy. The 36-year-old television personality began her reality TV journey when she was a cast member on Flavor of Love back in 2006. She may not have won the heart of Flavor Flav, but 14 years later, she's now a featured cast member on Love & Hip Hop Miami.

Prior to joining the Sunshine State's cast, Shay was introduced to the franchise as the girlfriend of Lil Scrappy back in 2012. The relationship was two parts of a love triangle that included Erica Dixon, the mother of Scrappy's daughter. Recently, VH1 producers sat down with Shay and had her watch her first scenes on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta to get her reactions to her first appearance.
"Y'all brought that old thing back," Shay said. As she watched, she struggled through continuing on because she said she was "so over this moment." She called Scrappy an "ass wipe" and a "piece of sh*t," but said after the cameras left that day way back when, she and Scrappy "did the nasty." However, Shay made it clear that she's "over that man."
"That was the first time I got all the lies and the bullsh*t because I didn't know what was going on," Shay stated. "He was feeding me lies and bullsh*t. And what you don't know is that I am the one that got Lil Scrappy on Love & Hip Hop. If it wasn't for me, he would not have been on there. You're welcome." She said that her manager received information that the show was making its way to the ATL and looking for new cast members, and at the time she and Scrappy were an item after he split from Erica and Shay left her abusive relationship.
She claims that she got an interview with production first and mentioned him, then later gave Scrappy the news and advised him to meet with VH1 as well. "What I didn't know is, he came in with his mama, his baby mama, brought his daughter on, and I had no idea until the show aired," said Shay. "And made the decision to tell them it's either Shay Johnson or his baby mama to be the main character. He was like, 'Well, make my baby mama the main character so I can get off child support.' Can you believe that? I put a check on you, money in your pocket, you got bands because of me and you X out my position?" Watch Shay Johnson share her story about Lil Scrappy below.
