Bugzy Malone, a grime rapper from the UK, has suffered some serious injuries from a motorcycle accident that took place on Wednesday night in Manchester. The Greater Manchester Police Department confirmed that they responded to a call about a collision between a quad bike and another vehicle at roughly 9:20pm on Wednesday.

"Shortly before 9:20pm last night, Wednesday, March 25, 2020, police were called to Rochdale Road, Bury, to reports of a collision involving an Audi car and a quadbike," a spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said. "Emergency services attended and the driver of the quadbike, a 29-year-old man, was seriously injured and taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing." Footage of the incident has been circulating online, with many criticizing whoever felt the need to film the crash site.

Bugzy is a rapper and actor from Manchester, who has been credited one of the key artists that played a crucial role in the "grime revival" in the UK. Many of his fellow British artists, as well as The Manchester City football club, took to Twitter to show their support for the injured star and send him their well wishes.

Eminem proved he's still his controversial self on Friday when he dropped the album Music To Be Murdered By out of nowhere. The album is chock-full of shocking material, and he doesn't shy away from calling out certain people by name, including Machine Gun Kelly, whom he has had beef with for quite some time. However, one namedrop was particularly not well-received by some listeners. Eminem included a lyric in his song "Unaccommodating that referenced a terrorist attack that occurred at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester in 2017: "But I'm contemplating yelling 'bombs away' on the game/Like I'm outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting." The tragedy left 23 people, mostly children, dead, and 130 more injured, and has deeply traumatized the singer.

On Friday, after the surprise album had dropped, Manchester mayor Andy Burnham addressed the upsetting line in a statement. "This is unnecessarily hurtful and deeply disrespectful to the families and all those affected." Mr. Burnham's sentiments were echoed by Figen Murray, the mother of Martyn Hett, who died in the attack. In a tweet that has seen been deleted, Figen voiced her disapproval for the lyric, writing, "Feels like he is piggybacking on the fame of Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber and says distasteful things about other celebrities. Not clever. Totally pointless. And before all Eminem fans pounce on me, I am not interested and will not engage." Figen revealed that she ultimately deleted the tweet because "I knew I would get lots of abuse and insults."

Eminem shocked fans and the general rap world today when he dropped his brand new album called Music To Be Murdered By. The Detroit MC took a dark turn with some of his lyrics and spoke heavily on some of the tragedies that have gone down in the world as of late. One of those tragedies was the Manchester bombing which happened a few years ago outside of an Ariana Grande show. On the song “Unaccommodating,” Em spits “But I’m contemplating yelling ‘bombs away’ on the game/Like I’m outside of an Ariana Grande concert waiting.”

Grande fans were appalled by the lyrics and took to social media where they voiced their disgust. Of course, the Manchester bombing was a traumatic event for many people so it shouldn’t be surprising that some people hold sensitivity to it. According to The Blast, Em’s daughter Hailie Jade took to her Instagram story where she appeared to respond to the controversy.

“Your future is more valuable than your temporary feelings,” she wrote. This caption could mean a wide range of things although some believe she is talking about those who are offended by her father’s bars. These days, everyone thinks everything is a sub so you really never know.
