It's no secret that people are angry. Amidst the ongoing protests, many of which have spawned disturbing footage of police brutality and escalating tactics, patience toward law enforcement organizations stands at an all-time low. As such, many artists have come forward to voice their frustration, including an incensed Metro Boomin. Though he has since cooled down, last night saw him lamenting the fact that only four law enforcement officers had been shot in St. Louis, a sentiment he quickly deleted.

When asked about the deletion at the time, Metro elaborated on his message. "I deleted it so I don’t promote violence and get any more of my brothers and sisters killed by trying to make an attempt but not because I’m a police sympathizer," he maintained, keeping more or less the same energy. "And if you feel a way about anything I’m saying then you’re more than welcome to leave because I don’t make music for you anyway."
Upon further reflection, as well as a conversation with his mother, Metro returned to Twitter to further clarify his thoughts. "After thinking & talking to my mother I felt and realized that it was wrong to say what I said yesterday," he writes. "I never wanna incite or promote violence of any kind and I was purely speaking from a place of hurt and anger. Most importantly I know there are many kids and people who look at me as a role model and voice of reason, and if anyone was to go out and act on what I said and got hurt (most likely killed) then the blood would be on my hands and I love all y’all too much for that."
"Let’s continue to rise and protest and show them that ALL of our voices will be heard and we will not be silenced," he continues, closing out on a powerful note. "The enemy wants us to be violent so they can continue to use lethal force but there is strength in numbers and I know we can drown out all the hate with LOVE."
Metro Boomin Roasts Doja Cat With OnlyFans & KKK Joke
Doja Cat came under fire for a series of videos showing her interacting with alt-right, racist men in a chatroom, leading Metro Boomin to clown her.
Doja Cat has apologized for a number of videos that resurfaced this weekend, showing her involvement in multiple chatrooms where she allegedly engaged in racist, anti-Black discussions. Despite her explanation, people are still furious with the chart-topping recording artist, threatening to cancel her on Twitter.
It looks like her fanbase is dwindling in numbers as people are beginning to jump ship and you can likely count super-producer Metro Boomin among that group.
In between mixing sessions with 21 Savage for the highly-anticipated Savage Mode 2 album, Young Metro decided to chime in on the Doja Cat controversy, cracking a joke about her on his personal page.
"#onlyklans," wrote the beatmaker, adding a bunch of laughing faces on the side.
The joke is subliminal in nature but it's pretty safe to say he's laughing at Doja Cat right now. The rapper was on camera showing off her assets to some pretty skeezy individuals, leading Metro to create a new term custom for her to combine OnlyFans with the Ku Klux Klan.
Are you upset with Doja Cat right now or do you understand her explanation of the entire ordeal? Will you continue to support her after this or is she officially canceled in your books?
Metro Boomin Is In "Savage Mode"
Metro Boomin provides a brief (though we'll take it) update on his 21 Savage collaboration album "Savage Mode 2."
It's hard to believe that there was once a time when Metro Boomin's beats were ubiquitous. A testament to his work ethic and creativity. Before long, Metro became the go-to producer for dark bangers, spooky bangers -- bangers period. Look no further than his collaborative work with 21 Savage, namely their modern fan-favorite mixtape Savage Mode; not necessarily a classic in the traditional sense, but significant in what it brought to the table for both parties involved.

As has become the norm in both Hollywood and rap music alike, a sequel has been officially confirmed. Long have we known about the existence of Savage Mode 2, but information about the project's progress is not exactly fruitful. Not long ago, there were reports that it would be releasing in March, but those quickly proved to be unfounded. In truth, it seems as if both parties have been taking their time on the anticipated album, which bodes well for those of us still patiently waiting.
Don't get it twisted. Metro hasn't exactly fallen off the grid entirely. He still comes through to hint at the album's imminent release, as he has done this morning by way of a simple tweet. "I’m in savage mode," he writes, the implication of studio time heavy in the subtext. Of course, the significance behind this "update" depends entirely on Metro's understanding of stirring up hype -- do you think there's fire behind this particular smoke? And more importantly, are you excited to see 21 and Metro triumphant return?
Lil Durk Talks Working With Metro Boomin On "No Auto Durk"
Lil Durk shines a light on his upcoming Metro Boomin-produced album “No Auto Durk,” including a few potential features.
A few weeks ago, Lil Durk came through with his new album Just Cause Ya’ll Waited 2, an appetizer for his long-awaited project No Auto Durk with Metro Boomin. And while Durk has remained relatively active throughout this past year, Metro has been different story. For the most part, the acclaimed and influential Atlanta producer has been moving rather quietly, seemingly dedicated to working closely on a variety of different collaboration albums. Today on Beats 1 Radio, Durk took a moment to open up about the No Auto Durk sessions, which remain ongoing.

Specifying that the Metro project will be far more “turned up” than the highly personal Just Cause Ya’ll Waited 2, Durk reflects on how working exclusively with the producer is the dream of many rappers. “Metro don’t make himself highly accessible,” explains Durk. “For you to be different, to have Metro, it’s like bet. You do Metros with the Drakes, Futures, Thugs, 21 Savages, everybody don’t get a Metro by themselves.” When Ebro asks how many songs the pair will ultimately lay down, Durk isn’t quite sure.
“I don’t really know,” he admits. “We just record. One day, he’ll say thirteen. The next he’ll say nine. We record until it’s time. I want to do at least forty songs.” He also reveals that he doesn’t want many features on the project, though he would save a spot for Young Thug. “Future, Gunna, Baby, Meek,” continues Durk. “They’ve been showing me a lot of love since day one.”

21 Savage Reveals Why "Savage Mode 2" Is Taking So Long
21 Savage explains why his and Metro Boomin’s sequel to “Savage Mode” is taking so long.
At a time when everyone is being kept inside, 21 Savage and Metro Boomin have been laboring away at their highly anticipated follow-up to 2016’s Savage Mode. Both parties have teased its release in the past few weeks specifically, though there hasn’t been an exact update of sorts on when we could expect the project to arrive.

In a recent Instagram Live, 21 Savage revealed that the project was on the way but the reason that it’s delayed is that he’s perfecting it and tuning it to his liking. “Savage Mode 2 on the way, man. You know, I gotta perfect my shit. Shit takes time. I be putting a lot of hard work into my shit. I ain’t just about to drop anything,” he explained. “My shit gotta be hard so it’s gonna take me a little longer, you know what I’m sayin’?”
Despite the fans demand for the project, 21 Savage did make it clear that he’s only humans with as many hours as everyone else and that on top of music, there are other things that are on his plate, as well.
Shortly after the Live, Metro Boomin’ ultimately fielded a question regarding 21 Savage’s presence on Twitter. “He been working hard,” Metro Boomin said.

Metro Boomin Reveals Where 21 Savage Has Been
Metro Boomin and 21 Savage have been rumored to be working on "Savage Mode 2."
Over the past few years, Metro Boomin had cemented himself as one of the premier music producers in the entire world. He has numerous hit songs and has worked with a diverse array of artists. Thanks to his relationships, he has various collaborative tapes under his belt, including Savage Mode with 21 Savage which was dropped all the way back in 2016. Recently, there have been numerous photos floating around of 21 and Metro in the studio, working on new music. This has led to speculation that Savage Mode 2 is on the way.
Today, a fan on Twitter asked Metro where 21 has been lately since he has pretty well ghosted his own social media pages. As the producer explained, 21 hasn't been active on his pages because he is currently hard at work.
Metro's statement is pretty ambiguous although any intelligent individual can deduce that 21 is working on brand new music. It appears as though 21 is taking his time and wants to make sure he puts his best foot forward with his next project. 21 has improved with each project and with this in mind, there is no telling where Savage Mode 2 will take us.
Stay tuned for updates on new 21 music as we will be sure to bring it to you.

Metro Boomin Reacts To Gymnastics Video Going Viral
Metro Boomin has seen the joke video of him doing gymnastics and he's laughing with the rest of us.
This week, a joke video of Metro Boomin being "exposed" as a gymnast went viral on Twitter. A man who looks like the producer can be seen balancing and pulling major stunts with a friend, pulling some insane flips and flexing that core strength. Attempting to fool people that Young Metro is training for the Summer Olympics in 2021, it's clear that the beatmaker is more focused on creating future hits with his homie 21 Savage.
It only took a couple of days but Metro Boomin has officially responded to the viral video online, asking why the internet had to do him like this.
"Y’all n***as really playing wit me wit dat gymnastics video," wrote Metro on Twitter, adding two angry emojis and a couple of laughing ones.
Clearly, he has seen all the memes and he's enjoying them. However, he's not excited enough to pull off some crazy flips on camera though.
The producer followed up his reaction by sharing an old picture of himself and Travis Scott in the studio and, of course, the people needed to crack even more jokes.
"Metro is this pic from before or after you were a gymnast," asked a number of fans.
It looks like he may never be able to escape this.
Metro Boomin & 21 Savage Still Working On "Savage Mode 2"
Not even the looming threat of the coronavirus can prevent Metro Boomin and 21 Savage from working on “Savage Mode 2.”
With the world in a perpetual state of what-the-hell-is-going-on, few things in life have become certain. Yet one truth remains — if we cannot laugh in the face of adversity, perhaps we are truly lost. Even as the coronavirus pandemic has left the entire music industry in a limbo-esque state, Metro Boomin has decided to keep on keeping on, moving forward with his long-awaited 21 Savage collaborative album Savage Mode 2 and doing so with memes in his heart.

Though he has yet to share even the slightest of snippets, Metro has been vigilant in keeping us up to date with in-studio pictures, continuing the trend with an amusing behind-the-scenes picture of a recent session. “When you in the studio and a n***a cough,” he captions, the image speaking for itself.
Tagging both Savage Mode 2 and longtime photographer Jon Cannon, Metro’s latest update proves that the wheels remain in motion — at least to an extent. Whether it means we’ll be seeing a release in the imminent future remains uncertain, though we could all certainly benefit from another dose of spooky bangers from Metro Boomin and 21 Savage. Let’s just hope they’re keeping vigilant in keeping the studio a germ-free zone. Are you still looking forward to their big release?
Metro Boomin & DJ Akademiks Clash Over Billionaire Comments
Metro Boomin commented on “fake woke” people complaining about billionaire’s donations for coronavirus relief, and replied to DJ Akademiks’ posts about the same thing.
As the world is scrambling to deal with the coronavirus outbreak, super-producer Metro Boomin is done with people complaining over dollar amounts and billionaire donations to help with the globe’s recovery. Sending out a series of tweets this weekend, the beatmaker ranted about how the people whining about $25 million donations are the same folks who will never bring a single canned good to their local food drive. DJ Akademiks reposted several of the messages, but Young Metro was not impressed with how the social media commentator was twisting the narrative. It resulted in a back-and-forth that may have severed their relationship.

“You trying to be slick only posting a few of the tweets. I’m not for the negativity. Just keep me off of your gossip page all together please,” requested the 26-year-old music maker. DJ Akademiks responded that he believes Metro was being sensitive about the matter, writing: “Wondering why u in ur feelings bout this… Nobody was being slick.”
In a new post about Metro’s reaction, Ak goes for blood.
“@metroboomin stop being sensitive n***a. Ain’t nobody being slick. WorldStar posted the same thing … go look AINT see u under their post having a hissyfit. Block me idc. Gonna post what I want still.”
