Giannis Antetokounmpo has quickly become a superstar in the city of Milwaukee and this season, many think he will be able to lead the Bucks to an NBA championship. More importantly, though, Giannis has been a beacon of the community and continues to be a role model for the youth of the city.
This past weekend, Giannis continued to show his support to the people of Milwaukee as he attended an anti-police brutality protest. Giannis could be seen wearing an "I Can't Breathe" t-shirt and even came through with some inspiring words of change on a megaphone. He even made sure to note that he wasn't there for publicity and that he just wants to see real systemic changes.
“This is our city, man. We gotta come out here and support. We want change. We want justice," Giannis said. "That’s why we’re out here. That’s what we’re gonna do today. That’s why I’m gonna march with you guys. I want my kids to walk in Milwaukee, not to be scared to walk in this place. I don’t want my kid to have hate in his heart."
Giannis isn't the first player to speak out on these issues as LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, and Damian Lillard have all done their part. Needless to say, the NBA is inspiring an entire generation to participate in civic discussions.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Latest Business Venture Revealed
Giannis Antetokounmpo is looking to increase his business acumen with his latest move.
Giannis Antetokounmpo stands to make a whole lot of money with his next contract although as of right now, Antetokounmpo is looking to level up a different way: through the world of business. According to CNBC, Giannis has just earned ownership stake in a company called Ready Nutrition which as you can imagine, is a brand dedicated to sports nutrition, in the same vein as companies like Gatorade or Powerade.
In the report, it states that this partnership goes well beyond a regular brand deal and that Giannis put up six figures of his own money to receive ownership. When asked about the deal, Giannis made sure to note that he truly believes in this brand and that he is looking forward to the future.

“This is not an endorsement deal,” Antetokounmpo told CNBC. “Obviously, I can help the brand and go out there and sell it to everybody, but this is not what this is. … this is a company I really believe in. I could go with Gatorade, I could go with BodyArmor, but at the end of the day Ready was the right fit for me.”
Giannis isn’t the first athlete to invest their own money into businesses and he certainly won’t be the last. However, if one thing is clear, Giannis is looking to diversify his portfolio and is thinking longterm when it comes to his finances.

Giannis’ Nike Zoom Freak 2 Coming Soon: Best Look Yet
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s signature sneaker line is about to get a new entry.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has cemented himself as one of the best basketball players in the entire world and when you’re that good, you typically get your very own signature sneaker with a brand such as Nike. Well, that’s exactly what he has as in 2019, the Nike Zoom Freak 1 was revealed to the world. The sneaker was a huge success and proved to be a budget model with some fun aesthetics. Giannis Antetokounmpo Reveals Plans For NBA Title Party
Giannis Antetokounmpo already has plans for when the Milwaukee Bucks win the championship.
Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks were heavy favorites to win the NBA championship prior to the entire season being shut down due to the Coronavirus. Of course, Giannis is one of the best players in the entire game right now and there is a real chance that he wins MVP again. It’s clear that he could sniff a championship on the horizon, however, we will never truly know until the season actually comes back, which could be as soon as July 15th.
In a recent interview, Giannis revealed that he already had big plans for a championship party. In fact, he planned on taking the whole team to Greece had they won. Of course, this type of celebration is still on the table should things go his way.
“Before all this happened with COVID-19, I was talking about taking the team on a trip to Greece in Mykonos,” Antetokounmpo said “Mykonos is one of the best islands in Greece, it’s a party island. You cannot go there with your significant other, you got to be by yourself. It’s got to be a boys’ trip. Obviously, we have Santorini, Santorini’s really romantic. It has the best sunset and sunrise in the world. You can take your significant other there. I had the opportunity to go last year – I went with (Eric) Bledsoe and Brook (Lopez) to Mykonos – and I was kind of sad I wasn’t able to bring the whole team to experience what we went through. So definitely, I think, after we win the championship and we’re holding the trophy and we’re all smoking a cigar like M.J., we can all do that in Mykonos.”
While it may be a while before the team can travel in such a manner, we’re sure they will be very excited if and when they win the Chip.

NBA 2K Simulation Crowns NBA Champion & Finals MVP
Fans haven't been able to watch real basketball so the NBA 2K simulation tournament has been the next best thing.
It's been a rough time for sports fans around the world as we have very little to watch these days. Luckily, sports like MMA and soccer are making a slow return to action although basketball still seems fairly far away from coming back. In the interim, video game companies have been trying to fill the gaps, including Take-Two Interactive who have been putting together an NBA 2K "Simulation Tournament." Essentially, they simulated the rest of the season and then simulated the playoffs.
Throughout the last few weeks, the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks were able to claw their way into the NBA Finals. In the most recent simulation, the Lakers won the championship in seven games and Anthony Davis was able to secure Finals MVP. In fact, the Lakers were even down 3-1 in the series but were able to come roaring back.
Considering how well the Lakers and Bucks are doing right now, it doesn't seem far-fetched to see them in the NBA Finals. However, the Lakers are surely going to have their work cut out for them when they go up against teams like the Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, and Los Angeles Clippers.
Obviously, this simulation is far from reality but perhaps it will instill hope in these respective fanbases that their teams have what it takes to compete for a title.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Speaks Out After NSFW Twitter Hack
Giannis Antetokounmpo went through a pretty traumatizing experience on Twitter yesterday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo might be one of the nicest NBA players off the court, but on the court, he is an absolute menace thanks to his freakish athleticism. He is one of the best players in the league right now and because of his high profile, he is a target for harassment. In fact, Giannis' Twitter account was actually hacked yesterday and the hacker made some incredibly crude tweets that featured racist language and some particularly crass comments on Steph Curry's wife, Ayesha. The hacker even said some incredibly disrespectful things about the late Kobe Bryant.
Eventually, Giannis caught wind of the situation and his Twitter account was taken down then eventually brought back up. The tweets were promptly deleted and last night, Giannis issued a lengthy apology where he referenced some of the things that were said. He also made sure to apologize to the Curry, James, and Bryant families who were all referenced during the hacker's rampage.
Eventually, fans were able to track the hacker down on Twitter, and justice was served. As soon as you say something bad about Kobe Bryant, you're in for a rude awakening and that's exactly what happened.
As for Giannis, well, he better get himself a much stronger password moving forward.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Couldn’t Help But Diss His Brothers
Giannis Antetokounmpo took a swipe at his four other brothers in the midst of Twitter's latest game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has become one of the most exciting players in the entire NBA and he just so happens to be extremely funny and entertaining. The Greek Freak has become a social media expert throughout the quarantine and last night, he proved himself, once again.
There has been a game going around on Twitter lately where you are presented with six houses with varying types of people in each house. The game asks you to decide which house you would want to be in. Recently, there was a game involving infamous siblings. Giannis and his four brothers were up against the Gronkowski's, Williams,' Watt's, Ogwumike's, and Curry's. Instead of choosing to grow up with his own brothers, Giannis opted to spend his childhood with the Watt's.
This is certainly a betrayal of the highest order although considering it's Giannis who is saying this, we know it's just a joke. A fan in the comments noted that Giannis should have said the Curry's, because it would have made people think he wants to go to the Golden State Warriors in free agency. Luckily, Giannis spared us from the hysterics that would have caused.
As for his brothers, I'm sure they had an interesting conversation in the family group chat after Giannis, tweet.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Is Missing A Vital Object During Quarantine
Giannis Antetokounmpo isn't able to get in the training he would like to right now.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was well on his way to yet another MVP trophy had it not been for the suspension of the NBA season due to the Coronavirus. As of right now, every player in the league is quarantined inside of their house and have to make do with what they've got. Not everyone has gym equipment and not everyone has a basketball court that they can shoot hoops at, at any given time. Giannis just so happens to be one of those players and is struggling to get some shots off during the hiatus.
The Bucks had a conference call today with the media and Giannis, as well as Khris Middleton were quick to talk about their situation. Both men stated that they don't have their own hoops at their homes and are only able to do weight and cardio training. Middleton did joke that he can shoot at a neighbor's house but for now, he would rather stick to his driveway.
With this in mind, it is safe to say that some Bucks players will be a little rusty when they return to action come July or August. If the NBA does, in fact, come back, players with elaborate facilities at their homes will be at a huge advantage.
Hopefully, Giannis and company will be able to find a way to make it all work.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Reveals Who Annoys Him The Most
Giannis Antetokounmpo had a surprising revelation about who his arch-nemesis is.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been proving himself to be one of the best players in the entire NBA and prior to the NBA hiatus, he was in the discussion to win his second-straight NBA MVP award. Now, he spends most of his time on IG Live where he answers fan questions. Recently, Giannis was talking about who he hatest to play in front of the most. Giannis even mentioned the Toronto Raptors and how Drake is pretty up there. However, Giannis immediately retracted his Drake statement and claimed that Raptors Superfan Nav is the one who annoys him the most because of the way he is constantly talking trash.
Nav saw the clip of Giannis' admission and immediately took to Twitter where he noted that everything he says is all fun and games. The superfan even offered Giannis a meal for the next time he comes to Toronto.
"Hahaha @Giannis_An34 love you like family before and after the game but during those 48 minutes I have to do whatever it takes to give my boys the edge! You have to know when you visit Toronto you get the 1-2 punch @Drake then the superfan :) dinner on me next time #staysafe," Nav wrote.
Clearly, these two have a friendly rivalry that is all in good fun. For Nav, the rivalry has been just a tad one-sided so far. Perhaps that will change when the Bucks beat the Raptors in a playoff series.

Despite this, Giannis is still releasing new colorways of his ultra-popular Nike Zoom Freak 1. The shoe has been out for close to a year now which means a second silhouette should be on the way very soon.
