Sia has gotten herself all mixed up about Nicki Minaj and Cardi B and the two rappers infamous feud, but the singer has since apologized and tried to put it behind her. On Friday (June 12th), a fan asked Sia if she would ever collaborate with Nicki Minaj. "Have u seen this pic?" the fan asked, referring to a photo of Nicki rocking a wig similar to Sia's signature black and white bob. "Where's the collab with Nicki Minaj? We need it." Sia proceeded to respond to the tweet, seemingly confusing Nicki for her at-one-time foe, Cardi B. "I love Cardi B and although this isn’t a collaboration, I would love to COLLAB with her any day!"
The Barbz were appalled that she'd made such a dreadful mistake, reminding Sia that Nicki and Cardi have had beef for years. However, Sia told fans that they should not be worried about a feud and instead putting their energy into more important matters.
"Dudes. I also like [Nicki Minaj]. I don’t give a sh*t about feuds," she wrote in a since-deleted tweet. "George Floyd was f*cking murdered Breonna Taylor. Murdered. Come on let’s rise in unity. You think Cardi B and Nikki [sic] are so petty that they would want you focusing on a silly feud instead of REAL NEWS?" She went on to tag both rappers in another since-deleted tweet, rhetorically asking them if they were concerned about their feud right now to get the point across to fans. However, out of context, the tweet appears to be calling out Nicki and Cardi for supposedly reigniting their own feud instead of focusing on what really matters. “Hey @iamcardib @NICKIMINAJ you aren’t thinking about a feud right now are you? We are focused on the problem of systemic racism.”
She quickly deleted all the aforementioned tweets, and apologized for accidentally causing outrage. “I totally misunderstood a tweet earlier that has resulted in me making a buffoon out of myself," Sia tweeted. "Sorry @NICKIMINAJ and @iamcardib if you hear about it. Can I just like you both?”
Pop Smoke Says Casanova Beef Was Just A "Misunderstanding"
Pop Smoke and Casanova are buddies now. All good.
Pop Smoke and Casanova had a very short-lived feud a few weeks ago. What was more shocking is that after taunting Cas, he got arrested on federal charges for allegedly transporting a stolen vehicle across interstate lines. In a recent interview with Angie Martinez, he not only called the situation itself “cap” but he explained that the feud between himself and Casanova was turned into something even bigger due to the power of the Internet.
Just to quickly recap, Pop Smoke initially fired shots at Casanova, calling the fellow Brooklynite “Trashanova” while the lyrics in “Christopher Walking” appear to taunt Cas. The two later squashed their beef days later and had dinner together. But Pop Smoke explained that it was never anything to begin with.
“People just took that and dragged that out,” he told Angie. “‘Cause if you know me, then you know I’m really real in real life. If it’s beef, we not gonna go on the Internet… Somebody might get hurt. You don’t want to advertise something like that.” He added that the whole thing was really just a “misunderstanding.”
Pop Smoke just released his debut album today, Meet The Woo Vol. 2. The project includes appearances from Quavo, Fivio Foreign, Lil Tjay, and more. Shockingly, the collaboration that he seems to have in the cut with Meek Mill did not make the final cut of the project. Peep the interview below.
