"What's right is right, and what's wrong is wrong, and I think Bubba's a testament to that," Kamara told ESPN "With them being able to, I guess, step away from that, that's a huge step. And flipping the script, just rewriting the narrative on what this sport is and what it stands for. There's obviously some people that are against that decision of removing the flag, and I think there's way more people that are for that decision. Because I think there's a certain stigma on the type of fans that support this sport, and there's some bad ones. But I don't think the bad ones represent all the good ones."
Kamara tweeted out his support for NASCAR, after the organization banned Confederate flags sporting events, earlier this week.
Wallace rocked a Black Lives Matter paint scheme on his No. 43 Chevy during the race.
Kamara is teammates with Saints quarterback Drew Brees, who came under fire last week for criticizing players who have knelt during the national anthem.
"But being here today, I'm learning a lot. It's definitely a different experience in person," Kamara said.

LeBron James & Alvin Kamara Show Love To NASCAR’s Bubba Wallace
Bubba Wallace sported a Black Lives Matter paint scheme on the same day NASCAR banned the Confederate flag.
NASCAR has always been one of those sports with a cloud of stereotypes hanging over it. Of course, the sport was born in the south which doesn't have the best record on race relations. As a result, there have been very few black drivers despite NASCAR's best efforts to change that. In an attempt to distance themselves from negative stereotypes, NASCAR has implemented diversity programs that have led to more black employees and even some African-American drivers climbing up their ranks.
Bubba Wallace was a part of NASCAR's drive for diversity program and now, he is racing for Richard Petty who is a legend of the sport. Following the murder of George Floyd, Wallace sought to make a statement and unveiled a "Black Lives Matter" paint scheme before his race at Martinsville on Wednesday night. In fact, this scheme had many athletes impressed, including LeBron James and Alvin Kamara who shouted Bubba out on social media. Kamara eventually watched the whole race because he was so excited about Wallace's statement.
Prior to the Martinsville race, Wallace urged NASCAR to ban the Confederate flag from its races and that's exactly what they did. It was yet another example of NASCAR trying to distance itself from negative stereotypes of the past and they received quite a bit of praise for it.
As for the race itself, Wallace had himself an amazing drive as he finished 11th out of the 40 cars in the field. Richard Petty Motorsports doesn't typically have the best equipment so finishing 11th was quite the accomplishment and many drivers praised Wallace's ride, following the race.
NASCAR Driver Kyle Larson Suspended After Using Racial Slur
Kyle Larson was on an iRacing Livestream when he said something he immediately regretted.
NASCAR certainly isn't a sport that gets written about a lot on here but sometimes, something happens in the sport that either makes your jaw drop with excitement or shake your head in disappointment. Last night, the latter happened.
One of the rising stars in the sport, Kyle Larson, was on an iRacing Livestream that was being broadcasted on Twitch. Larson didn't know he was being recorded at the time and dropped the N-word, which as everyone should know by now, is a big no-no. The clip of Larson saying the slur immediately went viral and once NASCAR found out about it, they suspended him indefinitely. In fact, Larson's team, Chip Ganassi Racing, suspended Larson without pay and now, the driver is at risk of losing his sponsors.
"Last night I made a mistake and said the word that should never, ever be said, and there's no excuse for that. I wasn't raised that way. It's just an awful thing to say, and I feel very sorry for my family, my friends, my partners, the NASCAR community and, especially, the African-American community," Larson said in his apology. "I understand the damage is probably unrepairable, and I own up to that. But I just wanted to let you all know how sorry I am."
It remains to be seen what will happen to Larson's career but for now, things aren't looking too good for him. If his sponsors decide to leave him, he could be gone from NASCAR permanently.
Donald Trump To Hold Virtual Meeting With Sports Leagues Amid Pandemic
President Donald Trump is expected to tell teams how to move forward amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
Every single major sports league in the world is on hold right now due to the Coronavirus. Major League Baseball had to suspend the start of their season all while the NHL and NBA had to suspend their seasons. Even the MLS had just started and needed to shut down. From there, NASCAR made the tough decision to stop events while the NFL is now contemplating delaying the start of training camp. Overall, it's a horrible time to be a sports fan and there doesn't seem to be much hope on the horizon.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, President Donald Trump is set to have a conference call with the commissioners of all of these leagues. As one would expect, the topic of conversation is going to be whether or not the leagues are going to be able to resume play.
Based on Trump's optimism, it is expected that he will recommend the leagues find a way to continue playing although it will all depend on the virus and how it continues to ramp up over the next few weeks and potentially months. This isn't the type of thing that just goes away on its own and leagues will have to tread lightly.
Hopefully, the meeting is a positive one and we can get back to normalcy, sooner rather than later.

NASCAR’s Ryan Newman Injured After Horrific Daytona 500 Crash
Ryan Newman is in serious condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
After a rain delay on Sunday, the Daytona 500 was held yesterday afternoon in front of 100,000 people. The final lap of the race was shaping up to be a classic as Ryan Blaney, Ryan Newman, and Denny Hamlin were all pushing for the win. Coming off of the last turn and into the tri-oval, Newman was leading the race when he was spun out by Blaney who was simply trying to get in behind the leader. Newman's car eventually hit the wall and flipped over before being hit in the driver's side by Corey Lajoie who had no room to move.
Newman's car came to a stop on its roof and the safety crew immediately made its way to the scene. The crew cut his car open from the site and eventually extracted him before taking the veteran driver to the hospital. It was later revealed by NASCAR and Newman's team that the driver was in serious condition and had suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The news came as a relief to many NASCAR fans as some had feared the worst. Newman's condition has yet to be updated as fans are hoping he will be okay in the long term.
Denny Hamlin ended up winning the race and ended up commenting on the situation saying "We're praying for the best. Ryan's ... a tough guy. We're hoping that he comes out of this good."
