Kevin Porter Jr. has been making an impact with the Cleveland Cavaliers this season and while the team hasn't been very successful, it's clear the team is excited about their young player. Last night, Porter Jr. was set to be a starter although it appears as though he came to the court without his jersey, which led to a quick dash back to the locker room. Later in the game, Porter Jr suffered a head injury and had to miss some time.
Throughout the game, many outlets posted about Porter Jr.'s jersey blunder, without mentioning his injury and how severe it was. Porter was upset about the ordeal as he took to Twitter today where he put the media and disloyal fans on blast. Clearly, Porter Jr. has had enough of the antics.
"Thank you to media for posting this & disregarding my head injury. Thank you for the disloyal fans/supporters, thank you for the none prayers," Porter Jr. said. "I love the hate that’s what keeps me going, sorry for who lost money in fantasy, didn’t plan on getting hit in the head."
This season has been frustrating for Porter Jr. and company so it's easy to see why he was upset about the coverage. Hopefully, Porter Jr.'s relationship with fans and the media can be repaired, sooner than later.
Steph Curry Proves He Hasn’t Lost His Touch Prior To Return
Steph Curry is making his highly-anticipated return, tonight.
Steph Curry's broken hand injury from the beginning of the season put the Golden State Warriors in a huge hole. We knew coming into this season that they wouldn't be very good but Curry's absence put them over the edge in the worst way possible. As it stands, the Warriors are last place in the entire NBA and are looking at a lottery pick. Fans have been speculating about when Curry would return and now, it appears as though the questions have been answered.
Curry will be back in the Warriors lineup tonight against the Toronto Raptors. The Star will be playing with some minutes restrictions as the team wants to keep him healthy for next season. In anticipation of tonight, the Warriors took to Twitter where they posted a video of Curry warming up. As you can see, he hasn't missed a beat as his footwork and shooting are still top-notch.
Of course, we won't know how ready Curry is until we actually see him in the game. However, he will definitely be motivated as he's taking on the Toronto Raptors who defeated him in the NBA Finals, last season. It remains to be seen what his impact will be tonight but if there is one thing for sure, it's that the Warriors are much more fun to watch with Curry in the lineup.
Charles Barkley Dismisses Rockets As Some "Leprechauns"
Charles Barkley doesn't seem to be a big fan of the small ball rockets.
Charles Barkley has been a harsh critic over the years and as a former player, he certainly has the right to go as hard as he does. Barkley has a wide variety of targets throughout the NBA including the Philadelphia 76ers and Houston Rockets. Barkley has made sure to keep his foot on the neck of James Harden and Russell Westbrook, much to their dismay. Without a real center or big man, Barkley has even more reason to be critical of the Rockets and on Thursday morning, he let his true feelings known.
During a radio hit on ESPN's The Dan LeBetard Show with Stugotz, Barkley was brutally honest about the Rockets and their new era of small ball basketball. As you're going to hear, Barkley had some strong words about all of it.
"I don't think you're going to win with putting a little bunch of leprechauns out there," Barkley said. While Barkley doesn't care for the Rockets size, there is no denying the team is playing well right now. They are fighting for fourth in the Western Conference and have a real shot at doing some damage in the postseason.
If they were to go to the NBA Finals, Barkley would certainly have some explaining to do.
Kawhi Leonard At A Loss For Words Over Clippers Potential
The Los Angeles Clippers are about to embark on a playoff journey.
Kawhi Leonard was the biggest free agent on the market last summer and in the end, he ended up choosing the Los Angeles Clippers which realistically, was a foregone conclusion. We all knew Leonard wanted to play in Los Angeles although it was to be determined whether or not he preferred the Lakers or Clippers. Considering the Lakers already had Anthony Davis and LeBron James, the Clippers seemed like the clear cut choice.
Now, the Clippers are near the top of the Western Conference and have a real chance to do some damage come playoff time. In a recent report from Royce Young of ESPN, Leonard was asked about the Clippers potential and where he thinks they can go. As you can see based on his answer, even Leonard doesn’t know what this team’s ceiling is.

“I don’t know,” Leonard said. “Because I don’t know what our potential is. You never know how good a team can be. But we’re going to strive to be the best team we can. We’re not complacent. We want to keep getting better and hopefully reach the goal.”
The Clippers started the season with some apparent chemistry issues but quickly got things together as the season went on. Now, the team is practically unstoppable when both Leonard and George are in the lineup. If there is any team that can beat the Lakers in a seven-game series, it would be the Clippers.
Alex Caruso Reveals Annoyance Over Incessant Memes & Attention
Alex Caruso has been the subject of a lot of jokes and worship over the past year.
Alex Caruso is an NBA folk hero and it all started after a game last season in which the Lakers season was already over. Caruso got significant minutes in the game and ended up with a huge putback dunk that shocked everyone on the Los Angeles Lakers bench. Over the past few months, Caruso had continued to provide fans with highlight-reel plays and is now a bonafide fan-favorite in Los Angeles.
Caruso was recently a guest on the Official Lakers Podcast where he got to speak about all of the attention he’s been getting over the last little while. As he explains, he’s a pretty lowkey guy and at times, the memes have proven to be just too much for him although he understands why it’s happening.

“But yeah, it did get to a point to where I was just sitting back and literally anything I did, somebody would tweet about it, or somebody was reporting on it, and at a certain point I was just like, ‘this is just like borderline annoying,’” Caruso said. “It was to the point where it’s like, let’s just focus on basketball, and we’re having so much success on the court that I would love for it to be more about that than me doing a random play in a game.”
Thanks to Caruso’s unique look and sneaky athleticism, he will continue to be a folk hero for years to come. If the Lakers win the championship, we can only imagine what the Lakers player will go through.
Richard Jefferson Makes Uproarious Remark About Fan’s Wife
Richard Jefferson's quick thinking had some hilarious results.
Richard Jefferson was a journeymen player in the NBA and even got to win a championship with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers all the way back in 2016. Now, Jefferson is an analyst for ESPN and he can be seen on various shows giving his opinions. Jefferson is a pretty strongminded guy and never holds back how he truly feels about a player or a team. His argumentative nature comes across well on TV and his insight is always welcomed.
Jefferson also has a humorous side to him which typically comes through on social media. Yesterday, Jefferson showed off his in-person wit after a fan asked him to say "hi" to his wife on camera. Instead, Jefferson said "I'll text her" in a moment of pure Chadism.
The fan didn't seem to mind the comment and even found it funny as he posted the clip to social media where it quickly got picked up by numerous outlets. Jefferson's quick response made the whole situation a lot funnier especially when you consider how everyone around him was completely oblivious to what was just said.
If you're the fan, you have to hope he's joking because if he's not, then that conversation at home is going to be awkward.
James Harden Gets NSFW While Talking About His Defense
James Harden is talking that talk.
Over the past few seasons, James Harden has cemented himself as one of the best scorers in the league. In some people’s eyes, he has the potential to be one of the greatest scorers of all-time. While that would certainly be a lofty goal, there is no denying that Harden has the potential, as long as he can start posting some more consistently great shooting percentages.
One area of Harden’s game that some feel is lacking, is his defense. In a report from ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, Harden completely refuted this idea and even challenged some of his opponents to come and try him out on the court. Clearly, Harden isn’t going to allow himself to be punked by anybody.

“Come try it and the s**t won’t work,” Harden said. “I’m a competitor. I’m a beast. Whatever teams’ schemes are, we switch everything, and they’ve got to find a way to attack us. It’s not going to be perfect. Some guys are going to score on me. That’s a part of the game, but more times than not, we’re going to get a stop and they’ll shy away from it.”
Harden and the Houston Rockets have yet to make an NBA Finals appearance since his tenure there although they are looking to make it a reality this season. The Rockets are getting hot and have the potential to make a splash in the postseason. If Harden can sure up his defense, there is no denying they have a chance.
Knicks Fans Kicked Out Of MSG After Anti-James Dolan Chants
The New York Knicks have been a disaster for a very long time.
New York Knicks fans have had to deal with a lot of pain over the last few decades. they haven't won a championship since the early 1970s and are consistently seen as a laughing stock. Owner James Dolan is a huge reason for this. He is notorious for being the worst owner in the NBA and hasn't done anything good for his franchise for a very long time. This season has been particularly bad and Dolan is well-aware. Despite this awareness, he still finds it necessary to silence the voices of those who oppose him.
A great example of this occurred last night as his team lost to the Utah Jazz. Near the end of the game, a group of fans at Madison Square Garden began to chant "sell the team." Eventually, the fans were spotted by security and escorted out of the arena. Later that night, the fans posted about the incident in hilarious fashion.
This is yet another example of the Knicks treating their fans poorly. Just a few days ago, there was a huge dispute between Dolan and legendary director Spike Lee. The Knicks are stuck in a state of cluelessness right now and as long as Dolan remains the owner, thinks won't change.
Steph Curry Reacts To News Of His Warriors Return
Steph Curry hasn't played a game of NBA basketball since all the way back in October.
Steph Curry will most likely go down as the greatest shooter in NBA history and his talents are responsible for a great deal of the Warriors' success over the last few years. Case in point, the Warriors have won three championships in the last five seasons and without Steph, none of that would have been possible. This season has been a bit different for the Warriors as Curry went down with a broken hand back on October 30th. Over the past few weeks, there has been a ton of speculation as to when Curry would make his return.
Last night, the Golden State Warriors blessed their fans with an update. Curry will be ready to go as of tonight and will be making his return against the Toronto Raptors. Curry took to Twitter where he posted a meme that pretty well gives you his thoughts on coming back to the court.
The Warriors currently have the worst record in the entire NBA and its a foregone conclusion that they will miss the playoffs. Having said that, their games will certainly be a lot more fun to watch with Curry in the lineup. Their starting lineups have been abysmal as of late and Curry will give them that push to be a tad better.
Kristaps Porzingis Takes Hilarious Shot At The New York Knicks
Kristaps Porzingis was brutally honest after the Dallas Mavericks' latest win.
Kristaps Porzingis has been having a solid season with the Dallas Mavericks. After coming back from injury, Porzingis has proven to be a piece that the Mavericks have been missing for a while. Not to mention, the presence of Luka Doncic has suddenly turned this squad into legitimate playoff contenders. At this point, it's safe to say the Mavericks will make the playoffs, even if they aren't a top seed right now. They've built enough of a cushion that the playoffs aren't exactly a pipe dream.
After last night's big overtime win against the New Orleans Pelicans, Porzingis was asked about the atmosphere and whether or not it matched that of a playoff game. Porzingis came through with a hilarious yet brutally honest answer that harkens back to his days with the abysmal New York Knicks.
“I mean, I wish I had that experience to tell you," Porzingis said to a laughing crowd of journalists. While his answer may have been truthful, you can tell there was certainly some pain behind it. Porzingis used to be one of the few reasons to watch the Knicks but was traded last season after he requested a move.
Moving forward, Doncic and Porzingis could be one of the league's premier dynamic duos.
