Offset Signs Worldwide Representation Deal


Offset will now be represented by UTA following his acting debut on NCIS: LA.

Offset will be jumping deeper into the world of entertainment now that he’s inked a brand new representation deal. Per Billboard, the Migos member signed a worldwide representation deal in all areas with United Talent Agency. The announcement of the deal arrives a week after he made his formal acting debut on NCIS: LA as an undercover agent. 

Offset’s established himself as a solo entity aside from the Migos. Releasing his debut album, Father Of 4 in 2019, he debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 and produced the Grammy-nominated single, “Clout” featuring his wife Cardi B who he also apologized to on the album countless times. 

As Offset continues to expand past the world of music into other forms of entertainment, the rapper’s new deal with United Talent Agency will push Offset into a global cultural figure. Along with his foray into acting, he recently teamed up with streaming platform Caffeine for two new shows including Bet With Set that finds the rapper placing bets against celebrity guests while they livestream themselves playing video games. 

Offset and his wife Cardi B are dominating right now as an entertainment power couple. Cardi herself recently made her acting debut in 2019’s summer smash Hustlers starring J. Lo. There’s no doubt that she had some sort of influence in Offset getting further into the world of acting.

Offset Expresses Gratitude For "NCIS" Role: "One Of The Biggest Moves Of My Career"

Offset is beaming about his appearance on Sunday's episode of "NCIS: LA".

For those who don't keep up with NCIS: LA, Offset made his acting debut on this past Sunday's episode. entitled "Alsiyadun". He played the role of Kadri Kashan Khan, an undercover CIA agent monitoring terrorist activity in the Sinai Peninsula. Before the episode aired, one of the show's stars, LL Cool J, saluted the Migos member for his performance and highlighted how significant his contribution was. LL Cool J tweeted, "Proud of my Lil brother making his dreams happen!!! @OffsetYRN‘s acting debut on tomorrow’s episode of #NCISLA!! When you’re in Hip-Hop, some people only expect you to play a gangster or a thug but my man is breaking type!!! This is just the beginning!! I got you bro!"

Offset has been beaming off the high of this new accomplishment. In an Instagram post of himself dressed in costume, he expressed his gratitude for being granted this opportunity, which, apparently, LL was largely responsible for making possible. "Thank you the cast of @ncisla. Thanks @llcoolj for being a man of his word. Thank @ncisdir n Scott who wrote me in the storyline this was one of my biggest moves of my career in my opinion this showed the world that they can’t put me in a box or keep me trapped in one work place thank God also for giving me the opportunity to present another talent of mine and never last is my die hard real fans." 

The Father of Four's performance received great feedback and his music colleagues are commending him in the comment section of his post. DaBaby, Ty Dolla $ign, Macklemore and more congratulated Offset on crossing professional actor off his bucket list.

Cardi B Reacts To Offset’s Acting Debut On "NCIS: LA"


Offset’s acting debut on “NCIS: LA” as an undercover CIA agent has earned the Migos rapper praise from his OGs and wifey.

Offsetmade his acting debut on NCIS: LA this weekend alongside the GOAT, LL Cool J. The rapper took on the role of Kadri Kashan Khan who is “an undercover CIA Officer working for years in the Sinai Peninsula” to track the drug trafficking ring. NCIS: LA marked Offset’s first actual acting gig since he did play himself along with Takeoff and Quavo on FX’s Atlanta.

The rapper received praise across the board from people like his cousin Quavo as well as his wifey, Cardi B. She hit the ‘Gram with a photo of Offset and LL Cool J on the set of NCIS: LA and simply captioned it, “Sooo proud of you.” Cardi recently jumped into the film industry last year with her role as Diamond in Hustlers. 

Not only did Cardi share praise for her but LL Cool J also commended Offset for his work on the set, especially since the Migos rapper wasn’t a typecast. “Proud of my Lil brother making his dreams happen!!! @OffsetYRN‘s acting debut on tomorrow’s episode of #NCISLA!! When you’re in Hip-Hop, some people only expect you to play a gangster or a thug but my man is breaking type!!!” He said.

Of course, Offset thanked LL Cool J for bringing him onto the team. Perhaps Offset will be jumping into more television roles soon.
