Tom Brady and Eli Manning got to face off twice in the Super Bowl against each other and both times, Manning came out on top thanks to his fourth-quarter heroics. Brady has six Super Bowls to his name and is rightfully considered to be the more talented quarterback. Regardless, Manning seemingly had his number in the Super Bowl and it's a narrative that still lives on to this day.
Today, Manning decided to join social media, starting with Twitter. After making his first post on the platform, Brady decided to troll him with a reference to his abilities in the Super Bowl. Essentially, Brady said Manning was late to Twitter which makes sense since he is always better in the fourth quarter.
While Brady worded this as a troll, it certainly comes off with a degree of salt considering Manning ultimately beat him in those games. If anybody should be trolling here, it would have to be Eli who dashed Brady's hopes of a 19-0 season over 10 years ago.
Regardless, Manning is no longer in the league while Brady is about to start a fresh season with his brand new team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Clearly, this friendly rivalry is still alive and well.
Giants’ Deandre Baker Turns Himself In Amid Armed Robbery Allegations
Deandre Baker and Quinton Dunbar have been accused of an armed robbery at a cookout.
Perhaps the wildest news to come out of the NFL this past week was an alleged armed robbery conducted by New York Giants star Deandre Baker and Seattle Seahawks player Quinton Dunbar. As the story goes, Dunbar, Baker, and a third man allegedly pulled up to a cookout in Florida wearing masks and robbed everyone for their cash and jewelry before making a break for it in some sports cars. According to the police, Baker had a gun with him and even used it to threaten some of the people at the party.
Now, in a report from TMZ, it was revealed by Baker’s attorney that the Giants star has turned himself in to police and is now facing multiple charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault. The attorney has maintained Baker’s innocence and says that there are plenty of witnesses who can prove it.

As for Dunbar, alleged affidavits state that Dunbar was completely innocent in the matter and can eventually be cleared. As of right now, this is a developing story with the NFL, Seahawks, and Giants investigating what really went down.

Ranking The Top 10 Best Super Bowls Of All Time
Some of these may bring back bad memories.
This weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will be battling it out in Miami as they try to win the coveted Lombardi Trophy. The 54th Super Bowl is set to be a phenomenal game between two teams that completely dominated the NFL regular and postseasons. While it remains to be seen who will win, we’re sure to be treated to an entertaining game, unlike that mess we got last year.
There are a lot of factors that go into what makes a good Super Bowl. You need intrigue, a game that goes down to the wire, big plays, otherworldly individual performances, and even some upsets to throw a wrench in the mix. With this in mind, we decided to make a top 10 list, counting down the ten best Super Bowls of all-time. When constructing this list, entertainment was certainly a factor, however, it’s not the be-all, end-all. Instead, we have used the criteria above to construct a top 10 that takes a look at all of the moving parts. Having said that, let’s get into it, shall we.
10. Super Bowl LII – Philadelphia Eagles 41, New England Patriots 33
Coming into this Super Bowl, the Eagles were clear underdogs. The Patriots came into this match as one of the greatest dynasties of all-time while the Eagles were playing with an unproven back up quarterback in Nick Foles. Somehow, the Eagles defied all expectations and defeated the Patriots in a 41-33 shootout. This game was defined by the infamous Philly Special that occurred at the end of the first half. For Eagles fans, this was a momentous occasion as the team finally won its first Super Bowl.
9. Super Bowl XLVII – Baltimore Ravens 34, San Francisco 49ers 31
There were plenty of stories to go around in this game. Jim and John Harbaugh were coaching against each other. Colin Kaepernick was looking to cement himself as a starter while Joe Flacco wanted to prove he was truly elite. Meanwhile, Ray Lewis was looking to end his career with one last hoorah. In the end, we got a huge treat for a game. After taking a huge lead in the first half, the Ravens began to implode. A lengthy power outage gave the 49ers plenty of time to prepare for a comeback. Eventually, the Ravens were able to hang onto the lead, with some help from the officials.
8. Super Bowl XXXII – Denver Broncos 31, Green Bay Packers 24
John Elway Vs. Brett Favre. This was a quarterback matchup for the ages. Favre had already won a Super Bowl by this point while Elway was known for losing in the big game. The Broncos legend was nearing the end of his career and was looking to finally get the weight off of his shoulders. Elway put together an incredible performance capped off by a valiant running effort to get a first down when the game was on the line. His performance will forever be considered one of the best in Super Bowl history. Not to mention, this win kicked off back-to-back Super Bowls for the Broncos.
7. Super Bowl XLIII – Pittsburgh Steelers 27, Arizona Cardinals 23
There were two moments that made this game so memorable. Of course, we are talking about the James Harrison 100-yard pick-six and the Santonio Holmes catch in the corner of the end zone. These two plays helped propel the Steelers to their sixth Super Bowl victory. Ben Roethlisberger won his second title of his young career which instantly made him one of the most successful quarterbacks of the decade. This was also the first and only time the Arizona Cardinals had made the Super Bowl which made it extra special.
6. Super Bowl XLIX – New England Patriots 28, Seattle Seahawks 24
This game is memorable because of the final play. I mean, who can really forget it? “The Seahawks should have ran the ball” became a rallying cry that is still said to this day. After a questionable first half, Tom Brady led a huge second half comeback that had the Patriots leading late in the game. In the final minutes, Russell Wilson and company began driving down the field and were just yards away from a game-winning touchdown. Instead of giving the ball to running back Marshawn Lynch, Wilson threw an interception in the end zone and the rest was history. The finale was spectacular and made for one of the best Super Bowls in modern day history.
5. Super Bowl III – New York Jets 16, Baltimore Colts 7
Many of you reading this probably weren’t even alive for this game. Hell, I wasn’t either. The score itself is fairly meager and in terms of pure entertainment value, it’s definitely not the greatest. With this in mind, you may be asking why this is even on the list to begin with? Well, it’s one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history. Joe Namath was considered a young QB with a big mouth. Meanwhile, Johnny Unitas was a behemoth of a quarterback and was favored to win by a significant margin. Somehow, Namath led his team to victory in what would become a career-defining moment. Jets fans haven’t had a lot to cheer for over the years but at least they can cling to Super Bowl III.
4. Super Bowl XXXIV – St. Louis Rams 23, Tennessee Titans 16
The sight of Kevin Dyson being tackled on the one-yard line with no time left will always haunt Tennessee Titans fans. It’s a moment that will forever be one of the best in Super Bowl history as the Rams won their first title. Sure, the game itself wasn’t anything spectacular but this one play made it one of the best championship games in sports history. Leading up to this game, the Titans got lucky with the Music City Miracle while the Rams were enjoying the success of young quarterback Kurt Warner. These were two teams few people saw going to the Super Bowl and it made the matchup that much more intriguing.
3. Super Bowl XIII – Pittsburgh Steelers 35, Dallas Cowboys 31
Fumbled punt returns, dropped touchdown passes, and back and forth offensive performances made this game an instant classic. The Cowboys were led by Roger Staubach while the Steelers were captained by Terry Bradshaw. Bradshaw put on a show as he went on to win Super Bowl MVP. At the time, the Cowboys and Steelers were two of the best franchises in the league and every single time they hit the field, it was box office. Cowboys vs Steelers was like the Lakers vs Celtics of the 80s. If you were around for this era, you could truly appreciate what this game meant for the rivalry and the NFL’s stranglehold on popular culture.
2. Super Bowl LI – New England Patriots 34, Atlanta Falcons 28
28-3. Quite frankly, that is all that needs to be said. We still can’t believe the Falcons blew that lead.
1. Super Bowl XLII – New York Giants 17, New England Patriots 14
Pretty well everyone in the world thought the New England Patriots were going to win this game. They finished the season with the first ever 16-0 record in NFL history and were trying to have the best perfect record the league has ever seen. Tom Brady was on the cusp of tying Joe Montana for four Super Bowls. In the end, the Giants were able to put on a defensive clinic. The game was capped off by one of the most incredible catches in NFL history, courtesy of Davis Tyree. Plaxico Burress scored the final touchdown and Eli Manning got his first ever Super Bowl. This was one of the biggest upsets in sports history and it remains a sore spot for Patriots fans, despite their six other Super Bowl wins.

Tom Brady Sends Friendly Parting Shots At Eli Manning, Eli Responds
Brady had to go and make a joke.
Today, Eli Manning addressed the media for the first time since it was revealed that he would be retiring from football. The New York Giants legend won two Super Bowls with the team and both of them were against none other than Tom Brady. Brady and Manning have built up quite the rivalry over the years and now, Brady is the last one standing with six Super Bowls to his name.
This morning, Brady took to Twitter where he sent some shots at Manning, saying "Congratulations on your retirement, and a great career Eli! Not going to lie though, I wish you hadn’t won any Super Bowls." Of course, Brady was just joking although Manning made sure to strike back.
"I’ve been around Tom. I know how competitive he is. We joke around about this a little bit ... But it’s not real funny to him," Manning said.
During today's press conference, it was revealed that Manning would have his jersey retired. He will also be made a part of the Giants' ring of honor. Now, all Manning has to wait on is whether or not he will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of fame. With two Super Bowls to his name, he definitely has a good case.
Eli Manning Breaks Silence On Retirement, Will Have Number Retired
Eli is a New York legend.
Eli Manning won two Super Bowls throughout his career with the New York Giants although, over the past few seasons, he has struggled immensely on the field. After being replaced by rookie Daniel Jones this past season, Manning decided it was time for him to hang up his cleats. Earlier this week, it was reported that Manning would be retiring from football and fans were quite upset about it, even if it's ultimately for the best.
Today, Manning broke his silence on retirement and spoke to the media about his storied career. "From the very first moment, I did it my way. I couldn't be someone other than who I am," Manning said.
In a move that will delight many, it has been revealed that Manning will have his jersey number retired. He will also be inducted into the Giants' ring of honor next season. Regardless of how you may feel about his statistics, Manning helped the team win two titles against arguably the best dynasty of all-time: the New England Patriots.
Now, all that's left for Manning is his induction into the Hall of Fame although whether or not that happens remains to be seen. Some believe he deserves a spot in Canton while others think his stats were too pedestrian to be considered.

Peyton Manning Reacts To Eli’s Recent Retirement Announcement
Peyton experienced retirement a few short years ago.
Eli Manning recently revealed that he would be retiring from football after 16 seasons in the league. While his statistics were pretty average, Manning was able to win two Super Bowls against the dynasty that was Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and the New England Patriots. Fans are already debating whether or not he is a Hall Of Fame and so far, people are split.
Manning’s older brother, Peyton, is a legend of the game and retired after winning his second Super Bowl back in 2016. Now that Eli is on his way out of the game, Peyton is giving his thoughts on his brother’s retirement. As you can imagine, Peyton is incredibly supportive of his little bro.

“I’m happy for Eli, because I know he’s at peace and he put a lot of time and thought into this decision,” Manning said according to the Denver Broncos Website. “But I am sad, because I won’t get to see him play anymore. And after my dad and Dan Marino, Eli really was my favorite player. So I have to find a new one. But for really 19 years going back to his three years at Ole Miss, 16 years in the NFL, I have enjoyed watching him play, watching him compete, watching him grow into a man. It’s been a heck of a run.”

Skip Bayless Answers Whether Or Not Eli Manning Is A Hall Of Famer
The debates have begun.
Yesterday, New York Giants fans were in a state of grief as Eli Manning announced his retirement from the NFL. Over the last few seasons, Manning struggled on the field but was still considered a legend thanks to his two Super Bowl wins which came against the almighty New England Patriots. Despite his success, Manning finished his career with the same amount of wins as losses. He also led the league three times in interceptions which isn't exactly something to be proud of.
In light of his retirement, NFL fans are debating whether or not Eli belongs in the Hall of Fame. Today on FS1's Undisputed, Skip Bayless made the case for why he thinks Manning should fall just short of the gold jacket.
"If you have to ask or second-guess it for one second, you're not in," Bayless explained. "I will give you the 'Hall of Very Good' for Eli Manning. He was very good, he just wasn't transcendent."
Manning's inclusion in the Hall of Fame will certainly be debated for years to come. Manning is a polarizing figure and no one knows for sure of the answer. If he does make the Hall of Fame, you can't exactly be mad at it. He won two Super Bowls against arguably the best player ever. With this in mind, he deserves at least some sort of recognition.
Max Kellerman Refers To Jason Garrett As A "Coward:" Watch
Garrett is now the offensive coordinator of the New York Giants.
Jason Garrett's time with the Dallas Cowboys wasn't as fruitful as fans would have hoped. Despite coaching the team for upwards of 10 years, Garrett was only able to record two playoff wins which simply isn't good enough when you have one of the most talented teams in the entire league. Just last week, Garrett was picked up by the New York Giants in the form of an offensive coordinator. Garrett is known as a solid offensive mind so the hire certainly makes sense.
First Take host Max Kellerman isn't so convinced about the hire and thinks that he simply isn't risky enough for the Giants. Kellerman recalled a time when Garrett refused to go for a first down on 4th & 1. The First Take host went so far as to call Garrett a "coward."
It's important to note that offensive coordinators don't decide whether or not you go for it on fourth down. Having said that, Garrett shouldn't be a problem as an offensive coordinator considering he won't have to make hard decisions like that. Kellerman admits to being a Giants fan so it's not surprising his opinion on the matter is so severe. Regardless, calling someone a coward is pretty harsh.

Eli Manning Announces Retirement From Football: NFL Fans React
Eli is hanging 'em up after 16 seasons.
Two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback, Eli Manning, will formally announce his retirement from the NFL at a press conference scheduled for this Friday, according to ESPN's Dan Graziano and Jordan Raanan.
Manning had been the New York Giants’ starting QB ever since he replaced Kurt Warner during his rookie season in 2004, but he started just four games this past season as the team transitioned to rookie QB Daniel Jones. Rather than signing with another team as a free agent this off-season, the 39-year old signal caller has elected to retire as a member of the G-Men.
Over the course of his 16 years in the NFL, Manning earned Pro Bowl honors four times and was named Super Bowl MVP twice (2011 and 2017), following victories against the New England Patriots. He currently ranks seventh all-time in passing touchdowns (366) and seventh in passing yards (57,023).
Although he was benched in favor of the rookie midway through the season, Manning returned to the field in Week 15 for one final home game against the Miami Dolphins. He led the team to a 36-20 victory, bringing his career record to an even 117-117.
Check out some of the instant reactions to news of Eli's retirement, as well as some of those memorable highlights, in the tweets embedded below.
Jason Garrett Lands Job With One Of The Cowboys’ Biggest Rivals
Jerry Jones won’t like this.
Jason Garrett had a rough go of things as the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. Garrett got to be the head coach for ten years but things never worked out the way the team envisioned. The team only won two playoff games in his tenure despite having numerous talented teams. After a disappointing 8-8 season, Garrett was fired as they replaced him with Mike McCarthy. Earlier this week, it was reported that Garrett was interviewing with none other than the New York Giants, who are a divisional rival.
According to CBS Sports Ed Werder, the New York Giants are officially hiring Garrett as their offensive coordinator. Last week, the team hired Joe Judge and Garrett will now be a key piece to the operations in New York.

Garrett is highly regarded when it comes to his abilities as an offensive coordinator so this hire is looking to be quite good from the Giants standpoint. Garrett will be coaching young quarterback Daniel Jones next season and it will be interesting to see how their relationship progresses. Meanwhile, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was quite close with Garrett so this latest decision may come as a bit of a shock, especially since the Giants are divisional rivals.
Next season, Garrett will face his former twice. Both matchups will certainly make for some compelling television.
