Dan Orlovsky didn't exactly have the most productive NFL career although since then, he has become an analyst for ESPN and is featured on numerous shows. Orlovsky went on a bit of a tear today and he had none other than Damian Lillard in his sights. This was all because Lillard stated that he wouldn't want to play any games at a remote site if it meant his team had absolutely zero chance of making it to the NBA playoffs.
Orlovsky was very much against Lillard's line of thinking and stated that he thought Dame was being an "entitled and spoiled" brat. Lillard ended up becoming privy to these comments on unleashed on social media, telling Orlovsky that he should watch it and that he knows nothing about how Lillard got to his current position. Not to mention, Lillard made sure to throw in a shot at Orlovsky's suspect stats.
The former NFL quarterback immediately backed down upon witnessing Lillard's anger and issued a quick yet effective apology that had most fans laughing at him for backpedaling.
Either way, if there is anything we have learned here, it's that you don't disparage the good name of Damian Lillard just because he has some very valid health concerns about resuming the NBA season. It's a fight you're never going to win.

And yet, there remains more he seeks to offer. Perhaps irreparably stricken by the Instagram Live bug, Tory has offered up an interesting pitch. A seminar on the music business, detailing his experiences navigating the rap game.

2 Chainz Fights Off Restaurant Closure Reports Due To COVID-19
2 Chainz’ Atlanta restaurant was shut down this weekend after breaking COVID-19 social distancing guidelines but it’s back up and running.
2 Chainz was one of the first restaurant owners in Atlanta to re-open his space for dine-in service, announcing weeks ago that Escobar Restaurant and Tapas would be back in business after Governor Brian Kemp’s controversial decision to re-open non-essential businesses earlier than other states. On Memorial Day Weekend, a party was held at the location and, once police officers traveled by, they noticed that there was a blatant disrespect of COVID-19 social distancing guidelines. People were packed into the space and hookah was being shared, with bottle service also being offered.
The restaurant was shut down and clients were asked to leave. Despite the closure for the night, 2 Chainz wants everybody to know that he is still in business, sending a driver to get him some grub just last night for dinner.
“Just sent my driver to @escobaratlanta to pick up a kale salad with grill shrimp and two broccolis for me,” said the rapper on Instagram. His post itself was less pleasant in tone though as he fought back against media outlets continuing to report the closure of his restaurant.
“Still reporting Escobar been closed,” he wrote. “That was on Sunday! Today is Wednesday can yall find something else to report and get off @2chainz nuttz!”
Hopefully, there are no further issues at the restaurant as they look to comply with federal rules and regulations for COVID-19.
Ice-T Co-Signs Swizz Beatz’s Hip Hop Founders Fund: "There’s No Retirement For Rappers"
Ice-T is definitely on the same page as Swizz Beatz when it comes to looking after the forefathers of hip hop financially, noting that “there’s no retirement for rappers.”
Ice-T is giving Swizz Beatz his support for his Hip Hop Founders Fund idea, which would serve to financially assist the aging trailblazers of hip hop. Earlier this month, Swizz spoke to Joe Budden about the OGs who paved the way for hip hop, and noted how many of them, now entering old age, are not financially stable despite how prosperous the genre has made some of the more recent rappers. Swizz then proposed the idea that these newer rappers should contribute toward financially supporting these hip hop icons, considering how much they’ve done to allow artists today to succeed and make money off rap.

Ice-T, a man who’s been part of the rap game a long time, agrees with Swizz’s proposition, and believes it would be possible with donations. “I’ve always looked out for people like Caz and Mel—those have been my friends,” he told HipHopDX. “I don’t have a problem with it. I don’t expect the young kids to be involved in it, but then you do have enough people like myself and Swizz and people who have been very successful, you know? There’s no retirement for rappers. There is nothing. A lot of them have fallen on hard times.”
Jesse Grant/Getty Images
“I mean, if it was a fund, it wouldn’t be an individual person giving it to them,” he continued. “I think what they’d have to do is create a board of people—maybe like the Universal Hip Hop Museum — that would be able to handle the funds and get it out to people in need. I think that’s very honourable that Swizz Beatz would bring that up and say that. I think it’s cool. I think it’s just very technical about who they feel deserves that. There’s so many people, and it goes back…The first generation of rap is unrecorded rap. It’s before records. So all the hip hop that happened in the streets, it was only on cassette tapes. That’s the first generation. By the time people heard Melle Mel, [Grandmaster Flash &] the Furious Five, Sugarhill Gang, hip hop was already a culture. So, how far do you go back? I mean, Run-DMC was like the first rap group to get paid.”
“I think there should be some kind of an insurance plan something people can donate to,” he proposed. “See, certain people from that era are OK. Like, I’m OK, Chuck D’s OK. Russell [Simmons] is OK. Jay-Z’s OK. Puff’s OK. LL’s OK. There’s a lot of people that are OK, but a lot of people aren’t. It’s worth investigating. I would be part of it. I definitely would donate.”
Damian Lillard Explains What It’s Like Practicing Amid COVID-19 Fears
Damian Lillard is getting back on the court with the Blazers but it simply hasn’t been the same with everything that’s going on right now.
With Coronavirus cases trending downward, the United States and countries around the world have allowed their athletes to slowly but surely start training again. At this point, it remains to be seen as to when each individual league will return, but things are certainly taking a positive turn.
For instance, NBA players have been permitted to start training with their respective teams. In a recent interview with ESPN, Damian Lillard spoke about practicing with his teammates and how excited everyone was to see each other again.
“The whole first week was a breath of fresh air,” Lillard said. “On a certain level, it was exciting. You’re finally back on the court and you’re seeing everyone’s faces again.”

Despite this, Lillard also noted that it has been difficult to focus as there are numerous health concerns involved. The virus has not been eradicated and everyone is anxious about potentially contracting it.
“The second week everyone is like, ‘All right, this is kind of weird,’” Lillard explained. “The excitement is gone and now it’s, ‘What going on?’ I haven’t had a personal experience with [COVID-19], but I know how real it is. There’s nothing excessive when you see the kind of toll it’s taking on the world.”
With Lillard’s experiences in mind, it will be interesting to see how soon the NBA decides to really come back.

Eminem Releases His Old Music Videos In High Definition
Eminem updates his old music videos, like “Stan,” “The Real Slim Shady,” and more, in high definition.
Just like how Disney releases remastered versions of their classic films in better quality every now and again, Eminem came through with an update to some of his old music videos.
The legendary rapper has been busy this week, sitting down for a chat-room experience with fans to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the release of his album The Marshall Mathers LP. Since its arrival, visual technology has changed a lot. Thankfully, there are ways to restore old videos and movies to make them easier to watch in 2020. Em utilized those techniques to drop some freshly-updated versions of some of his best videos ever.
“MMLP music videos newly remastered in HD on the site,” wrote the rapper on social media, re-directing people to his website where you can view a number of the updated clips. Among the remastered videos are “Stan,” “The Real Slim Shady,” and “The Way I Am.”
Finally, we can view old Eminem videos in 1080p quality.
What else do you think Slim Shady has in store for us this week? He’s been dropping off plenty of surprises, including new merch, a question-and-answer period chat-room, and now this. Does he have anything else planned? We’ll have to wait and see.
Enjoy!
Joey Bada$$ Claims His Music Is Being Removed From Streaming Services
Joey Bada$$ says he is being censored as the "All-Amerikkkan Badass" album was reportedly removed from Apple Music.
New York rapper Joey Bada$$ is currently working on new music, teasing the arrival of a brand new album sometime soon but, right now, he's more focused on restoring his previous releases on streaming services.
This week, he started receiving messages from fans that they were unable to listen to his ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADASS album on Apple Music, which led him to address his supporters Instagram Stories.
"If my music is blocked on your streaming channels plz screenshot and send to me," wrote Jozif Badmon. "Also let me know what country/city you're in. They will not censor my messages with no reprucussion."

Multiple people reported errors as they tried to listen to songs like "AMERIKKKAN IDOL" and "LAND OF THE FREE." The album is more relevant now after the killing of George Floyd than ever before, so it's confusing why Apple Music would decide to axe it from their library. The 25-year-old addressed the topic on his Twitter account.
"WOKE UP TO MFS CENSORING MY MUSIC," he wrote, urging people to continue sending him screenshots so that he could build a case with the streaming services.
Hopefully, this issue gets resolved soon. Have you been having problems playing ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADASS by Joey Bada$$ this week?
