Here's a comparison you probably never thought you'd hear: child actor turned Riverdale lead, Cole Sprouse, is getting mistaken for none other than Empire star Terrence Howard in a new photo shoot. On Wednesday (May 20th), Cole posted some photos from the summery shoot taken by photographer Alex Hainer, in which the actor rocks his natural blonde hair colour, a moustache and goatee, and a rare tan. "Some more from @alex_hainer to sever my audience in twain," Cole wrote in the caption on Instagram.
The photos began circulating online, and it didn't take long for someone to point out that Cole low key looks a lot like a rather unexpected person: Terrence Howard.
The two began trending together on Twitter, which confused a ton of unknowing people at first.
Bryson Tiller Joins Guapdad 4000 For The Latest "Rona Raps" Freestyle
Guapdad 4000 continues his quarantine freestyle sessions, titled “Rona Raps,” bringing Bryson Tiller into the fold.
Earlier today, both T-Pain and Bryson Tiller spoke out about being mislabeled within the music industry— mostly referring to the idea that they are “rappers.” “We’re just inspired by Rap music (as we should be because what’s life without Rap music) but at the Core it’s R&B!! Rapper Turnt Sanga! Sanga Turnt Rapper! perspective,” Tiller proclaimed.
That all being said, he’s definitely getting his rap on in this latest edition of Guapdad 4000’s “Rona Raps” series. The series came to fruition because of the COVID-19 times, and while social distancing may be lightening up a bit around the world, “Rona Raps” shows no signs of slowing down.
This particular episode follows up his session with TDE artist SiR and Shady Records artist Boogie, capping off the series at the ninth instalment. Guapdad has been flipping classic instrumentals for the series too, it’s worth noting.
Bryson Tiller kicks off the freestyle, with Guapdad taking over for the second half. Take a listen and let us know if you consider Bryson a rapper or not.
Boosie Badazz Shuts Down Claims That He Doesn’t Pay Child Support For His Daughter
Boosie Badazz has vehemently denied his baby mother’s claims that he has failed to financially provide for their 11-year-old daughter, Lyric Beyonce.
Boosie Badazz has made it abundantly clear that he absolutely provides for all of his children financially, despite one of his baby mother’s recent claims in a child support lawsuit. Amid his other controversies in recent weeks, Boosie was accused by Gelisa Hayes, the mother of his 11-year-old daughter, Lyric Beyonce, of failing to pay child support to her in order to provide for Lyric. Gelisa filed a lawsuit against Boosie, seeking immediate child support as well as health and accident insurance for Lyric. However, Boosie has since come forward to denounce these claims, insisting that he has never missed a child support payment for any of his seven children, including Lyric.
On Thursday, Boosie took to Instagram to address the situation, writing a lengthy message in all caps. “For u people to be n my DMs saying Im a deadbeat dad u got me f*cked up !!” he exclaimed. “Ive never missed a child support payment with none of my kids. My child wants for nothin. Ive never missed a payment. Me n daughter have a great relationship Im sure she will be just as pissed as me. Ive never missed a payment to them. Not one BM.”

“Even when my kids r with me for 3-4 months,” he continued. “N they don’t have ask they mom for nothin. She wants for nothin. None of them. Me n my BMs r not beefing at all. We might disagree on some things but one thang ‘I don’t play with they money’ so for you people to keep coming after me sayin Im not taking care of my kids is bullsh*t. My child works for her daddy n makes her own money. She just went back to BR with bout a rack (11 years old) from working, her n my boys. Im not go drag my BM cause this is out of her character but women who say they r happily married shouldn’t be doing stuff like this its sad !! This sh*t embarrassing n fake I take care mine. PS F*ck y’all.”
“THESE CHILD SUPPORT CLAIMS THAT I DONT SUPPORT MY DAUGHTER IS BULLSH*T SO LEAVE ME THE F*CK ALONE,” he added in the caption.
Migos Tease Offset & YoungBoy Never Broke Again Collab
Months after Offset and YoungBoy Never Broke Again previewed a promising collaboration, Migos have stoked the flames of hype.
Astute fans have already reasoned that Offset, Quavo, and Takeoff have been cooking something up, if the release of three singles is to be believed. And while the jury remains out on whether we'll be seeing the recently-teased Quarantine Mixtape anytime soon, it can't be denied that the Migos have been far more active than usual. In fact, they seem to be relishing in the idea of stirring up hype, taking to Twitter to tease an unreleased banger with YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

Charley Gallay/Getty Images
Earlier this year, in January to be specific, Offset shared a behind-the-scenes teaser of a back-and-forth track with YoungBoy -- one that found them trading back-and-forth bars over a flipped sample of 50 Cent's "Get In My Car." Though information surrounding the actual song is scarce, many responded rather positively to the early snippet -- to the point where it's left a lasting impression on some. Today, one such fan actively asked the Migos whether we'd be seeing Offset and YoungBoy's collab anytime soon, prompting the trio to let fly a cryptic response: the googly eye emoji.
Look, it's not exactly much to go on -- analyzing emojis through an archeological lens is seldom fruitful, though it's better than nothing in these dire times. Perhaps it can be read as a simple "it's coming," it's only a matter of when. Either way, it's clear the Migos are well aware of the demand for that particular banger, so don't be surprised to see it surface if and when the Migos decide to drop off their new mixtape.
HNHH TIDAL Wave: Future Takes Command With "High Off Life"
This week's TIDAL Wave playlist update includes new music from Future, Polo G, Lil Keed, Gunna, Joyner Lucas, slowthai, and more.
With each new week, we've been blessed to receive some incredible new musical contributions. It seems like the quarantine was beneficial to most artists, giving them enough free time at home to complete projects that were on the backburner.
Out of absolutely nowhere, Future announced that his new album, High Off Life, would be out and last week, he delivered. With over twenty new songs and tons of replay value so far, the project has earned a number of selections on this week's update of the staff-curated TIDAL Wave playlist. In fact, I would go so far as to say he completely dominated this week.
Each staff member at HotNewHipHop shares a different music taste. Some of us rock with a more lyrical style of rap while others vibe heavier with production-based trap songs. It seems as though, no matter your preference, Future was a hit at our (presently unoccupied) headquarters. We've included several tracks from the new album, including "Solitaires" with Travis Scott, "Trillionaire" with Youngboy Never Broke Again, "Ridin Strikers," "Trapped In The Sun," and more on the playlist this week.
Elsewhere on the list, we've got the new singles from Lil Keed, Gunna, Gunplay (with Rick Ross), Chloe x Halle, and more.
Take a look at our picks below and be sure to sign up for your free 30-day trial for TIDAL here.

Stephen A. Smith Offers Anthony Davis Lakers Hot Take
Stephen A. Smith isn't a big believer in Anthony Davis on his own.
Ever since Anthony Davis got to the Los Angeles Lakers, they have been a much better team. Of course, the year before, the Lakers missed out on the playoffs due to numerous injuries and some lackluster play from a brigade of young stars who just weren't meant for the bright lights of L.A. With that being said, this new Lakers team is incredibly fun to watch and LeBron James and AD are the new NBA power duo.
While Davis is arguably the best player on the team this season, Stephen A. Smith had a hot take on where the Lakers would be if Davis was steering the ship and LeBron wasn't there. As he explains, the Lakers would simply be like the Pelicans, except with different jerseys.
This is a pretty harsh claim especially when you think about how lackluster the Pelicans have truly been over the last few years. They rarely made it to the postseason and when they did, it usually resulted in an early exit. While Davis was the star of those teams, he wasn't always given the best talent around him. Surely, he could do much more with a Lakers team built around him.
Regardless, this debate is sort of a waste especially since they have LeBron right now. With this in mind, we should all just appreciate the greatness on display.
Future Goes On Tweet Spree About "Ugly Girls" Amid Baby Mama Drama
Shortly after Eliza Reign filed a new lawsuit against Future following confirmation of his paternity, he advised his Twitter follows to "leave them ugly girls alone."
Future decided to take to Twitter on Thursday (May 21st) to offer some "quotes to live by" about avoiding "ugly girls," not long after his confirmed baby mother, Eliza Reign, countersued him for libel, slander, and emotional distress. Earlier this month, a DNA test finally confirmed that Future is, in fact, the father of Eliza's daughter, after months of the rapper denying his paternity in court. Eliza had initially sued Future for paternity, custody, and child support last year, which he responded to with a countersuit for defamation, claiming that she had harassed him after getting pregnant and accusing her of trying to use her child to get money out of him. However, the judge mostly dismissed his case, and now that he's been revealed to be the father of Eliza's child, she's countersuing him over a number of claims, including that he allegedly trued to coerce her into having an abortion.

Although Future did not directly address Eliza anywhere in his series of tweets, the timing is rather coincidental. During his Twitter spree, he wrote that "people make lies up to make they self feel good," and advised his followers to "leave them ugly girls alone." He also seemed to confess to making the "HUGE MISTAKE" of "get[ting] high and treat[ing] a ugly girl pretty," before claiming that "ugly girls b in imaginary relationships." At one point, he quoted one of Drake's lyrics from their collab, "Life Is Good," tweeting, "Caught me slipping ok so what." At the time of publication, his most recent message reads, "U crying over shoe money when u could’ve jus ask for it. RELAX."
Gabrielle Union Fawns Over Ashanti
Gabrielle Union makes Ashanti her Woman Crush Wednesday pick, detailing all of her amazing accomplishments.
There is not a day that goes by where we don’t reflect on Ashanti‘s beauty. At 39-years-old, the outstanding talent just continues refusing to age a single day, looking as good now as she did during her peak. These days, the recording artist supplements her musical drops with a flurry of sexy pictures on her social media pages, reminding us regularly that she remains one of the baddest women on the planet. She’s got a believer in Gabrielle Union, too.
Serving as Dwyane Wade’s wife’s Woman Crush Wednesday, Ashanti earned some major praise from Gabrielle Union, who listed off all that she has achieved in her long career as an entertainer.

“Today’s #WCW is an accomplished singer, songwriter, record producer, model, dancer, and actress @Ashanti,” wrote Gab on Instagram, sharing a series of gorgeous pictures of Ashanti. “Ashanti has always been sweet, humble and cool no matter the circumstance. She is always a pleasure to be around and keeps it easy. Her songs have been the soundtrack to your life at some point with hits like Foolish, What’s Luv, Always on Time, Into You, just to name a few. Her award count is at 35 wins and 89 nominations, including Grammy wins, Billboard wins, and AMA wins. She has dope new merch out now, which you should check out! Let us lift her up in the light of goodness and hold her there.”
Ashanti definitely deserves to be celebrated. Take a minute to show her some love today.
Tekashi 6ix9ine Trolls Gunna For Snitch Video
Tekashi 6ix9ine says Gunna loves doing donuts because he’s a cop after his alleged snitch video went viral.
Tekashi 6ix9ine has been on a rampage since being released from prison, taking aim at anybody and everybody in an attempt to steal the thunder back. It has worked thus far, resulting in a #3 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with his return single and a couple of broken records on Instagram Live and YouTube.
With an album releasing tonight, Gunna was surprised to see an old video of him go viral again, in which he speaks about his cousin’s murder charge. The rapper has been accused of snitching because of the video and everyone’s favorite (or least favorite) federal informant chimed in with his own take.
Sharing a video of Gunna doing donuts in his whip at the airport, DJ Akademiks probably saw this fate coming for Young Wunna. Tekashi 6ix9ine slid into the comments and did his work, clocking in and pulling troll duties on the YSL Records stand-out.
“Every cop loves donuts,” wrote 6ix9ine.
Is he speaking from experience? As you all know, 6ix9ine is a glorified snitch. He’s seemingly accepting Gunna as a member of the club, which the rapper has also declined an invitation to.
He previously addressed the viral video on The Breakfast Club.
“Man I don’t know what the fuck that’s about, Crime Stoppers what? I ain’t never stopped a crime. Never,” said Gunna. “Yes that’s me, but that wasn’t no Crime Stoppers.”
