Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott were the subjects of some heavy criticism over the weekend as it was revealed that Dak Prescott hosted a party at his home that featured close to 30 people. The party was being held for one of Prescott's good friends and according to reports, Elliott came to join in on the fun. The Dallas Cowboys teammates would otherwise fly under the radar for this type of thing but considering we are in the midst of a pandemic and are being told to maintain our distance from people, the two were rightfully chastised.
Today on First Take, Stephen A. Smith made sure to let his feelings be known regarding the actions of the two men. As he explains, even if the party only contained 10 people, it still would have been inappropriate considering what is going on right now. Smith also said that Prescott should be leading by example, especially since he is asking to be paid like the best player in football.
Smith's take on this shouldn't come as a surprise. He has been offering up PSAs on Twitter in regards to the Coronavirus and has even appeared in ads for ESPN, on the matter. Not to mention, Smith loves hating on all things Cowboys related so you can imagine he was doing the Birdman hand rub this morning, prior to the show.
Drake Makes History Once Again On Hot 100 With "Toosie Slide"
Drake’s “Toosie Slide” debuts at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, tying him with Mariah Carey for most chart-topping debuts on the chart.
Drake has done it again, though it isn’t surprising. The TikTok-ready single, “Toosie Slide” has reigned supreme this week on the Billboard Hot 100 after debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100. This marks several historical feats in Drizzy’s career as he claims his seventh chart-topper. Additionally, he’s now the first male act in history to claim three #1 debuts. Mariah Carey did have a similar run in 1995-1997 with three #1 debuts in the span of those years.

Drake has also clocked in 50 weeks in total at the top of the chart, making him the fifth artist and the first male solo act to reach this feat. Drizzy sits behind Mariah Carey, Rihanna, The Beatles, and Boyz II Men. “Toosie Slide” followed “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What” in Drake’s catalog for #1 debuts on the Billboard Hot 100. The rapper moved 25K in the first week with “Toosie Slide” with 55.5 million U.S. streams.
With Drake reclaiming his throne on the Billboard Hot 100, The Weeknd‘s “Blinding Lights” slides down to number 2 followed by Roddy Ricch‘s “The Box” which is still holding on strong to a spot in the top 5. Dua Lipa slides down to number four and of course, Drake and Future‘s “Life Is Good” is still going strong on the charts at number 5.
“God’s Plan” and “Nice For What” maintained their position at number one weeks after its release. Do you think “Toosie Slide” will have the same type of commercial impact? Sound off in the comments.
Tory Lanez Is Still Sitting On His "Real Golden Songs"
Following the release of “The New Toronto 3,” which happens to mark the end of his record deal, Tory Lanez teases that the best is yet to come.
Fresh off the momentum of the wild and rambunctious Quarantine Radio, Tory Lanez came through in the clutch with his bar-heavy album The New Toronto 3, a project many fans are already praising among the year’s best. Following its release, Tory hit up Ebro for a conversation on Beats 1, dropping a few interesting tidbits about his future trajectory as a free agent.

When Ebro remarks that Tory wasn’t really in his R&B bag for this go-around, the rapper admits he’s been hoarding some of his best records. “I’m out the label, bro,” says Tory. “I’m gone. I’m out. I’ve already recouped my publishing deal, my album deal. I exceeded five albums. This is the last one, and I want to give them a mixtape. I don’t want to give the label I was with at the time, not the label but the team I was with, I didn’t want to give the team those records I felt were my Earth Changing records. That’s why I haven’t released any of my golden songs.”
“The closest thing to that was when I released The Chixtape 5. This one is a similar situation in that I’m giving a little bit more effort,” says Tory. “It’s past the standard I needed it to be at for me to feel comfortable with it. It’s just enough to let them have this and it’ll still be good enough. It’s still good records on there, it’s not bad records.” An interesting take, but an understandable one to a degree – the only question is whether Tory will be able to outdo himself even further on his first independent release. In any case, we look forward to seeing his attempts.

Karl-Anthony Towns’ Mom Jacqueline Passes Away From COVID-19
Karl-Anthony Towns revealed a few weeks ago that Jacqueline Towns had been put in a coma due to Coronavirus complications.
Jacqueline Towns, the mother of Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns, passed away today after complications from the Coronavirus. A few weeks ago, Karl-Anthony took to his Instagram account where he told fans to stay and to stay home. During this address, he noted that both of his parents had gotten the Coronavirus and that his father had recovered. Hawk even has his very own video game series which is a testament to how relevant he is at his craft. Even after all of these years, Hawk remains one of the most prominent voices in the skateboarding community.
With this in mind, it makes all the sense in the world that a company like Vans would want to partner with him. In fact, Hawk is now Vans’ global brand ambassador. This means Hawk will be responsible for representing the brand in a multitude of different ways. The legend is even planning on putting together a professional vert skateboarding competition that will be sponsored by the brand.

“Vans was the first skate shoes I ever wore, beginning in 1978,” Hawk said in a press release. “My dad bought me a pair and I begged him for the ‘ankle guard’ accessory because high-tops weren’t available yet. I wore Vans almost exclusively until the mid-’80s. Vans has supported skateboarding since the very beginning, and never wavered in its commitment, even with massive mainstream success. I have always respected their integrity, so it is an honor to officially join forces and help continue to grow skateboarding culture in the most authentic way possible.”

O.T Genasis & Keyshia Cole’s Beef Turns Super Ugly
O.T. Genasis takes to Instagram Live and fires off a few below-the-belt insults at his foe Keyshia Cole.
What started as a harmless reimagining of a Keyshia classic at the hands of O.T. Genasis has since descended into a quagmire of disrespect. True, it's no secret that Cole had no love for O.T.'s so-bad-it's-good anthem "Never Knew," but it's clear that the gloves have hit the floor largely in part to Genasis' recent batch of below-the-belt comments made on Instagram Live.

While streaming, one spectator had the sense to mention Keyshia Cole in the chat, prompting O.T. to weigh in accordingly. “She ain’t shit. Keyshia Cole ain’t shit, I am," he declares. "I’m the shit. Keyshia Cole ain’t. Coochie smelling like fish sticks. That’s what’s going on. Coochie smelling like fish sticks. Keyshia Cole pussy smelling like fish sticks. Nah, I’m not gon’ talk about her.”
Given the rough and highly personal nature of the criticism, echoing Uncle Murda's notorious teardown of K. Michelle, Keyshia Cole took to Twitter to fire back a few responses of her own. Though she never called him out by name, Cole does proceed to liken her foe to a tortoise, making it clear that she's not above retaliating should he continue his tirade. "Hope this font go over some of u lame ass turtle head looking ass n*** heads!" she writes. "And hoe ass bitch n***s ain’t exempt."

Juice WRLD’s $15M Legal Battle With Yellowcard Paused, Once Again
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Juice WRLD’s mother hasn’t been able to get a judge to sign her off as the head of the late rapper’s estate.
Yellowcard’s legal battle against the late Juice WRLD’s estate has come to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. According to The Blast, Juice WRLD’s mother Carmela Wallace has not been able to sign off on the petition to make her the head of the estate due to the coronavirus pandemic that has shut down the majority of non-essential services.

Because the papers haven’t been signed, Wallace filed documents stating that there’s no concrete timeline of when she’ll be able to get a judge to sign the papers. The papers were necessary in order for the lawsuit to move forward. “Consequently, the Estate remains unable to participate in the case until a personal representative is appointed, thereby leaving Defendants unable to conduct a proper fact investigation or take any action on behalf of the Estate, whose participation is crucial to Defendants’ defenses,” a note reads. The case was put on hold until the matters with the estate are sorted.
Yellowcard filed a lawsuit against Juice WRLD, Tay Taylor and Interscope for using a sample from their song, “Holly Wood Died” for “Lucid Dreams” without getting their authorization or even coughing up a dime. They filed a lawsuit for $15M against the rapper, his label and the song’s producer. We’ll keep you posted on any more updates regarding the legal battle.
XFL Files For Bankruptcy Shortly After Firing Staff
The XFL has taken drastic measures after Coronavirus ended its season.
What was once a promising startup, has now gone by the wayside. Ah yes, the XFL. Almost 20 years ago now, the XFL burst onto the scene as the creation of WWE president, Vince McMahon. The first season turned out to be a failure as the product was more of a sideshow than an actual football league. Over a decade later, McMahon revealed that the XFL would be making a comeback and that it would be better than ever.
In February of this year, the new-look XFL made its debut and it was promising, to say the least. Unfortunately, the Coronavirus came in and ruined everything. The league decided to cancel its inaugural season but promised fans that it would be back and better than ever, in 2021. Well, it turns out that won't be the case as according to Darren Rovell, the league filed for bankruptcy.
This news comes shortly after reports detailing how the league fired all of its employees during a 10-minute pre-recorded conference call. Based on the way things were going, a motion for bankruptcy shouldn't come as too much of a surprise.
Once again, we are subjected to the unfortunate demise of a league that was promising us Spring football. Clearly, sports fans can't have nice things.
Indianapolis Colts Unveil Brand New Jerseys
The Indianapolis Colts treated their fans to some photos of their brand new home and away uniforms.
With the NFL season about five months away, teams throughout the league are looking at creative ways to market themselves ahead of the new season. One of those ways is through rebrands. Some teams do it right, while others fail miserably. One of the best ways to drum up excitement for your team is by switching up the uniforms and giving fans something new and exciting to look at. Not to mention, creating new jerseys forces fans into buying new merch to keep up with the times. If you're a sports franchise, new uniforms are almost always a huge win.
The Indianapolis Colts understand this better than anyone and today, they unveiled their brand new jerseys. Upon looking at these, you might think that nothing has changed. Once you take a closer look, you realize that the Colts decided to go with a more subtle approach.
In the tweet above, it is explained that the Colts changed up the number font, as well as the typing on the "Colts" writing at the front of the helmet. Not to mention, the Colts have revamped the Nike swoosh that appears on the shoulders.
Overall, these uniforms are pretty clean and stay in line with the team's blue and white tradition. If you're a fan, you really can't be mad at these.
Fat Joe Offers DJ Khaled A Much Needed Haircut
DJ Khaled’s looking a bit rough these days without his barber but then again, who isn’t?
November is typically the month reserved for men to grow out their facial hair in support of men’s health issues but in wake of the global lockdown we’re pretty much in, most guys are looking like we’re in the thick of Movember. Not only that, but it’s quite evident since no one’s outside, that male grooming practices have declined dramatically as well.
Most recently, a meme has been circulating of DJ Khaled after not being able to pay a visit to his barber. Acknowledging the viral joke, DJ Khaled made it clear that “they” are preventing him from being able to get his barber over at his crib. However, when there’s a will, there’s a way and Khaled is surely concocting new methods of getting a line-up without violating social distancing practices.
“THEY DONT WANT ME TO GET A HAIRCUT SMH ! I will get haircut I will figure it out soon lol,” he wrote. “Im get my Barbour a space suit stay tuned!”
Khaled is not the only one out here struggling for a cut. In fact, this is probably as relatable as Khaled has ever been in his career. Thankfully, he has a few good friends in the world including Fat Joe who offered to come line him up.
“I’ma come threw give you a cut lol,” Fat Joe wrote.
