Tyler Perry Tips 42 Out-Of-Work Atlanta Restaurant Employees $21K
Tyler Perry visited one of his favorite local restaurants and decided to gift the entire staff with a hefty tip.
He gave an out-of-work former inmate a job at his studio, he paid for a couple stuck at a Mexican hospital to return home, and he gave financial help to the children of a mother who was murdered outside of a Georgia bank. Tyler Perry has built an empire from the ground up and makes sure that he gives back whenever possible. During this COVID-19 pandemic, many people have found themselves out of work or struggling to get by, so Perry forked over a bit of cash to restaurant employees who are currently considered to be “essential workers.”

Tyler Perry visited Houston’s in Atlanta on Sunday (April 5) and gifted the 42 workers with a generous tip. According to TMZ, Perry is a “big fan of the chain” so he decided to go into his local eatery to make sure that the out-of-work servers were able to get a little something during this difficult time. He reportedly left a $21K tip for all of the workers—the equivalent to giving each employee a $500 tip.
TMZ added, “The federal money for fired workers is supposed to get maybe delayed … in some cases up to 20 weeks, and that just doesn’t cut it.” Other celebrities are doing their parts to help raise money for healthcare workers and people who have been displaced or laid off during the pandemic, as well.
Future & Eliza Reign’s Attorneys Called Out By Judge: Report
As Future and Eliza Reign continue to battle it out in court, their respective attorneys receive a tongue-lashing from the judge.
The judge on Future and Eliza Reign’s case is not pleased with the way their lawyers are handling the scheduling. According to Bossip, the lawyers representing Future and Eliza Reign received a tongue lashing from the judge who deemed them unprofessional in the defamation suit the rapper filed against his alleged baby mama. Judge Cecilia Altonaga put Reign and Future’s lawyers on blast over failing to execute the most basic procedures in the case such as scheduling court dates for the defamation lawsuit.
“The Court is frankly dismayed by the lack of professionalism shown by counsel for both parties,” Judge Altonaga said in a court order. But both attorneys got called out for their individual behavior as well. Future’s lawyer was told the latest motion proved “contentious communications” between both parties and further displayed “their inability to even agree upon a proposed schedule to govern this case is further evidence of a lack of professionalism.” Judge Altonaga also called out Reign’s lawyer for grammatical errors and called his motion “rambling.”
The judge has now forced both parties to figure. out the schedule for this case. Judge Altonaga previously denied a motion filed by Future’s attorney to force Reign to follow their schedule following further disputes over scheduling.
These are also the same attorneys representing Future and Reign in their separate paternity and child support suit.
NFL Announces Unprecedented Draft Format
The NFL is going with a draft format that has simply never been seen before.
We are living in unprecedented times which means we must make do with our current situation. In order to get through it, many of us are spending time indoors where we are quarantined as a means to avoid the virus. Numerous sports leagues have been completely shut down as a result of the Coronavirus, including the NBA and NHL. Now, the NFL is finding themselves affected by the pandemic as their draft is set to go down between April 23rd and 25th.
In an unprecedented move, commissioner Roger Goodell has informed all of the teams that the draft will go down virtually. Yes, that's right, NFL general managers and front offices must draft players from their homes. What makes this even weirder, is the fact that team personnel can't convene at one home. They must all be in separate places.
This is a far cry from what the draft was supposed to look like. It was originally going to go down in Las Vegas on the water in front of one of the hotels. Now, the players won't even get to experience going up on stage and donning their new jerseys for the first time.
Regardless, we are living in desperate times that call for desperate measures. It won't be like this forever and for now, we just have to make do with the situation.
Machine Gun Kelly Jams A Dr. Dre Classic
Despite his issues with the Shady/Aftermath camp, Machine Gun Kelly pays homage to Dr. Dre with his latest “Lockdown Session.”
Though it’s highly unlikely Dr. Dre and Machine Gun Kelly ever link up to collaborate, what with the whole Eminem beef and all, that doesn’t mean the Gunner has any ill will toward the good Doctor. In fact, as any self-respecting hip-hop fan should, Machine Gun Kelly has nothing but respect for Dre’s epic catalog of classics. At least that’s what we’re choosing to infer following his latest quarantine lockdown jam session, which finds him queuing up some “Still Dre” for a quick warm-up.

Channeling the spirit of Cypress Hill with a pre-game hit from the bong, Gunner kicks things off with Scott Storch’s iconic piano riff, a riff that helped close out the legendary producer’s recent beat battle with Mannie Fresh. Next up comes the drums, which he lays down while flashing a few moves picked up during his time playing Tommie Lee in The Dirt.
Unfortunately, the jam session is cut short, though its not exactly the most dynamic arrangement to begin with, not that it needs to be. Should he consider laying down a longer variant of his “Still Dre” cover, let’s not forget that damn near every jam session can always benefit from a little bass. Check out MGK’s take on Dr. Dre’s classic 2001 single below.
Bhad Bhabie Accused Of Trying To Look Black: Fans Attack
Bhad Bhabie posted several videos where she shows off a much darker skin tone than usual and lip fillers.
Danielle Bregoli, professionally known as Bhad Bhabie, has been under attack for years because of the way she looks and speaks. Black men and women have gone after the 17-year-old rapper for wearing her hair in styles that black women have popularized, including box braids. She also speaks in an accent that is typically associated with people who look nothing like her. Perhaps her most recent uploads have been the most controversial because mere hours after sharing some content online, the star is being attacked left and right for cultural appropriation.
Wearing a black wig, Bhad Bhabie resurfaced online wearing a foundation shade that is far too dark for her skin. She also puckered her lips and showed off some fresh fillers. Many are accusing the teenager of "blackfishing," a trend where white women pretend to be black.
Reminding her critics that she doesn't give a fuck, Bhabie shared several more videos and photos with the controversial look, swapping out her black hair for a red wig. Going through the comments section to her photos, there is almost nothing positive being said about the display. The majority of folks are trashing the 17-year-old girl for her blatant attempts to appear darker than she actually is.
Check out the post above and chime in in the comments.
21 Savage Bets $100K On Himself In NBA 2K
21 Savage is so confident that he can defeat anybody at NBA 2K that he's willing to bet $100K on himself.
Without any sports to bet on, 21 Savage has resorted to placing wagers on video game results. Specifically, he's so confident in his own ability to destroy his opponent on NBA 2K that he's willing to part with $100K if he has an off day.
Taking to Twitter, Atlanta rapper 21 Savage revealed that he's putting big money up for anybody that beats him in a game of NBA 2K. The details of the contest are currently unclear. However, a bunch of potential suitors have already accepted the challenge, asking the Slaughter Gang personality to reveal his gamer tag.

While he didn't disclose which team he would be playing as, there's a chance he would go with the Atlanta Hawks, a team that he has supported in the past.
21 Savage is possibly trying to take his mind off the brewing beef against Young Chop, who keeps on hurling insults in the rapper's direction. He has clearly been enjoying himself during quarantine despite that, keeping entertained and engaging with his fans in an Instagram Live sing-a-long to his favorite R&B tunes.
Do you think you have what it takes to smoke 21 Savage in a quick game of 2K? If you do, hit his @ and let him know you're up for the challenge.

Ben Simmons Appears To Tamper With Devin Booker During Stream
Ben Simmons read out a fan statement that he seemed to agree with, quite a bit.
Ben Simmons has been one of the best big-men in the Eastern Conference over the last few years. While playing for the Philadelphia 76ers, he has helped turn the team into bonafide contenders who could someday play for an NBA championship. There have been rumors about his chemistry with Joel Embiid and whether or not the two can survive longterm together. With that being said, 76ers fans prefer them together although they would always love an extra player thrown into the mix.
During a recent Call Of Duty Livestream, Simmons was reading fan comments where he stumbled on one urging for Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns, to come join the Sixers. Out of context, it seems like this was Simmons' own sentiment. The Sixers big knew this could be misconstrued and immediately noted that this is simply a fan comment and that he has no say on the matter.
Just based on Simmons' playful tone, it is quite obvious that he would love to play with Booker and honestly, who wouldn't. With that being said, there are tampering rules that state how you're not allowed to recruit players from other teams prior to the free agency period. With few paychecks coming in from the NBA right now, the last thing Simmons wants to do is be hit with a hefty fine.
Perhaps soon, we can see these two on the court together. However, it would certainly take a lot of movement for that to happen.
6ix9ine’s Producer Thinks The Rapper Should Work With Logan Paul
A collaboration between Tekashi 6ix9ine and Logan Paul is literally the last thing anyone needs right now.
Have you been waiting for Tekashi 6ix9ine‘s return to music? Probably not but you’ve likely anticipated his return to social media, especially at a time when there isn’t a whole lot else going on in the world. With the rise of platforms like Twitch and TikTok, there’s a good chance 6ix9ine will return to the game as a marketing genius rather than a musical one.

Bennett Raglin/Getty Images
In a recent interview with Complex, 6ix9ine’s early producer Jordan Granados said that he thinks 6ix9ine has the perfect opportunity to establish himself as an Internet personality now that he’s been released on home confinement in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. As fans await the rapper’s return to the ‘Gram, Granados added that 6ix9ine should refrain from collaborating with high-profile rappers to work with major YouTubers like KSI and Logan Paul and stray away from hip-hop in general.
“I wouldn’t suggest he make the same kind of music because the fans are going to be like, ‘Oh yeah you can’t make that gang shit anymore,’” Granados said. “He should focus on Spanish music. Why? Because it’s going to be hard for him to do shows in America. I would want him to do Latin music and just dominate that market. He can pull it off. I don’t think he saw it as a lane when he first started his career, but it definitely grew into that.”
“He’s made for the online world. If I was him, I’d focus on releasing singles, build that TikTok, do streams, and he’ll be bigger than anybody,” Granados added.
Elsewhere in the article, Adam22 said that 6ix9ine’s decision to take the stand should be a wake up call surrounding the rapper’s persona.
“Nobody is going to want to hear about how gangster you are,” he said. “We all know you’re a pussy. You snitched. You gotta wear that for life.”
Though he hasn’t formally returned to Instagram, he did slide into the comment section of a post where he joked about cooperating with the government.
