Donovan Mitchell was one of the first NBA players to be diagnosed with the Coronavirus. His positive test came immediately after his teammate Rudy Gobert was also diagnosed with the virus. Since then, Mitchell has been quarantining at home where he was getting his rest and a fair share of fluids. Mitchell and Gobert received some positive news earlier today as it was revealed that they no longer have the virus which means they can't pass it on to anyone else. At this point, they will probably still stay home, just for the good of everyone else.
Mitchell was so excited about this news that he hopped on Twitter and posted a prayer hand emoji alongside a gif of a child happily dancing. The young Jazz star is clearly happy to be rid of the virus that has killed thousands of people around the globe.
Other NBA players have contracted the virus including Kevin Durant of the Brooklyn Nets. Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics got it also which just goes to show how the virus can be spread so easily. Even the most healthy individuals can end up with it.
Regardless, we wish everyone else with the virus, a speedy recovery. This pandemic has been very scary but if we work together, it can go away much faster than we think.
Young Thug & Lil Baby’s "Bad Bad Bad" Goes Platinum
Young Thug continues to break down doors with another platinum plaque, this time for the Lil Baby-assisted “Bad Bad Bad.”
It’s hard to imagine that there was once a time when Young Thug wasn’t moving units like a heavyweight, with many fans feeling like he wasn’t getting the attention he deserved. That all seemed to change with So Much Fun, Thugger’s official “debut” album — though that feels more like a technicality than a truth. Whatever you prefer to call it, the project proved to be Thug’s first number one album, spawning heavy-hitting singles like Lil Baby collaboration “Bad Bad Bad” and the Gunna-assisted “Hot.”

Given that Lil Baby himself has grown into a commercial juggernaut in his own right, it was only a matter of time before “Bad Bad Bad” secured the pair another platinum plaque. The YSL IG page came through to make the announcement, confirming that the Wheezy-laced banger was the third single off the album to secure the honor – the first being the J. Cole and Travis Scott-assisted lead single “The London,” with the second being the aforementioned “Hot.”
At this rate, it feels like So Much Fun will join the prestigious platinum club before all is said and done. It’s already gold, and many are still finding treasures to unpack amid all of those carefully arranged nooks and crannies. Given that Thugger is supposed to be dropping off Punk, his previously-announced sophomore album, it’s unclear as to whether he’ll be issuing further So Much Fun singles. But even if he opts to stay the course and wait, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the album hit the big leagues eventually. Congratulation to Young Thug and Lil Baby!
Yung Berg’s Alleged Attack Victim Granted Restraining Order
Yung Berg’s alleged attack victim, Talia Tilley, has been granted a restraining order against him, after she accused him of pistol whipping her after sex.
A woman who claims she was pistol whipped and held hostage by Yung Berg after the two had sex in his home has been granted a restraining order against the rapper-producer. Earlier this month, Talia Tilley alleged that Yung Berg, also commonly known by the alias Hitmaka, had hit her across the face with a pistol multiple times. She also accused him of holding her hostage and threatening to kill her. She was treated in a hospital following the alleged attack on March 14th, and found out she had suffered a “closed head injury, closed fracture of nasal bone, and facial lacerations.” As a result, the LAPD issued her an emergency protective order against Berg, which prevented him from contacting her and coming near or or her home. However, the temporary order expired last Friday, so Talia decided to file for an extension, which the judge has granted her a week later.

The alleged incident went down at Berg’s place at around 5:00am on March 14th. Talia claims he invited her over a few hours earlier, and the two of them proceeded to have sex before she fell asleep. Talia was woken by Berg, who complained that her phone kept ringing. Berg then allegedly began to get violent, slapping her with his pistol and threatening her life. According to her story, she was later let out of the house, but Berg and his security guard made her hand over her ID and social security card. She says she fears for her life because he knows where she lives, and she believes he wants her dead.
Berg has vehemently denied these accusations, claiming that he acted in self-defense because Talia was supposedly apart of a ploy to rob and kill him. He alleged that Talia was attempting to let in a gang of armed robbers to carry out a home invasion, but that they were caught by the security system before they could complete their mission. Talia has denied these home invasion claims. Berg has also accused her of making up the story just to get money from him.
Melvin Gordon Sends Shots At Chargers Fans
Melvin Gordon always seemed to have issues with the lack of fans in Los Angeles.
Melvin Gordon started out his career with the Chargers organization although last year, it appeared as though there was some trouble on the horizon. Gordon was clearly not happy with his contract and held out from football activities as he sought to get his money up. He and the Chargers never came to an agreement so he decided to return to the field. During this most recent offseason, Gordon decided to leave Los Angeles and signed with a divisional rival in the Denver Broncos.
While speaking to journalist Nicki Jhabvala, Gordon admitted that playing in Los Angeles wasn't very fun as the fanbase was practically non-existent. All of the football fans in the city were indebted to the Rams which made the Chargers a second rate team. As Gordon explains, Broncos fans made home games feel like away games. In fact, most Chargers home games felt like away matches.
With this in mind, Gordon is happy to go to a team that actually has fans at their home games. However, when you have fans, there are bigger expectations and as a running back, your performance isn't always guaranteed. Regardless, Gordon seems content with his decision and that's all that should matter at this point.
While his beef might be with Chargers fans, one could make the argument, what Chargers fans?

LeBron James is blessing fans with some new kicks during the NBA hiatus.
LeBron James has seen some immense success with the Nike LeBron 17 so far and with this in mind, it should be surprising to absolutely no one that he continues to drop new colorways. One of the models that we previewed recently was the “Air Command Force” offering which was a reference to the 90s shoe worn by Woody Harrelson in White Men Can’t Jump.
One of the things that were apparent from the previews was the fact that the shoe had some vibrant colors on the knitposite upper. The base color of the shoe is white all while neon greens and other 90s aesthetics are placed all throughout the sneaker. Eminem Jokes About His Songs With Jessie Reyez
Eminem and Jessie Reyez keep singing about abusive situations in their collaborations, including on the recent “Coffin.”
Eminem doesn’t want to keep acting out “Love The Way You Lie” but something about the nature of his collaborations with up-and-coming star Jessie Reyez keeps him getting back to that zone.
When they collaborated on “Good Guy,” the video showed both musicians portraying an abusive couple, ending up in the grave together. On “Coffin,” their link-up on Jessie Reyez’s brand new debut studio album Before Love Came To Kill Us, the duo sings about another complicated relationship. So, why is it that Eminem and Jessie keep coming back to this theme? If you ask the Detroit legend, he’ll probably just crack a joke about it all.
Promoting the new single on his social media channels, Eminem laughed about how he and Jessie Reyez keep on destroying each other’s lives in their songs.
“Me and @jessiereyez just keep offing each other… dammit,” wrote the rapper on Instagram. “Love is in the air!”
Eminem has a knack for finding untapped talent within a pool of female vocalists. Before collaborating with Eminem, Reyez was trying to make it as Canada’s next big star but when Slim Shady took her under his wing, her dreams became more of a reality. Her debut album is out now, featuring appearances from 6LACK and, of course, Eminem.
Boi-1da & Hit-Boy Having Epic Beat Battle Tonight
Tonight, Boi-1da and Hit-Boy are all set to square off in “The Beat Battle You Don’t Want To Miss.”
A few days removed from Swizz Beatz and Timbaland squaring off in an epic producer duel rematch, Boi-1da and Hit-Boy are gearing up for a bonafide battle of the beats this very evening. In other words, it’s Boi vs. Boy and only one will prevail.
Put together by Timbaland and Swizzy for the shared benefit of hip-hop culture, the incendiary event has already caught the eye of many prominent hip-hop names — some of whom might have even tossed a couple of dollars on their chosen competitor. “I’ve heard about bets from 100$ to 10,000$ So Far. Who Tuning in?” asks Hit-Boy, who would likely bet on himself in this situation. After all, he’s packing a catalog that includes The Throne’s “N***as In Paris,” Kendrick Lamar‘s “Backseat Freestyle,” A$AP Rocky’s “Goldie,” and many more.
Yet the North has never been known to shy away from a fight. Taking to Instagram for the proverbial weigh-in, Toronto’s Boi-1da slid through with some words for his opponent. Considering his ridiculous catalog of bangers, including but not exclusive to Drake‘s “God’s Plan,” Eminem‘s “Seduction,” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Blacker The Berry,” the Canadian appears to be a formidable contender.
It’s honestly difficult to foresee a decisive victory from either party, but one thing is clear — this will be a duel for the ages. Will you be tuning in?
R. Kelly’s GF Joycelyn Savage Moves Out Of His Home: Report
R. Kelly’s last remaining girlfriend Joycelyn Savage has reportedly moved out of his Chicago condo into a smaller apartment.
R. Kelly‘s lawyers are working hard on getting him home from prison as they argue that he is at risk of contracting COVID-19 since social distancing is so difficult at Chicago MCC. If he is granted his release on bond, he will move back into his Trump Tower condo, but he will apparently not be living with his last remaining girlfriend.
After Azriel Clary packed her bags and left the disgraced singer in December 2019, Joycelyn Savage became R. Kelly’s final remaining girlfriend. The 23-year-old woman continues to support the “I Believe I Can Fly” vocalist but she has actually been meaning to move out of his condo for months. Steve Greenberg, Kelly’s attorney, previously noted that she and Clary would be leaving by September 2019 but Savage is only leaving now, as reported by The Blast.

According to the source, Joycelyn Savage is now living in a complex nearby, with much less expensive rent. The condo that R. Kelly owns at Trump Tower reportedly costs approximately $7,000 a month. Her new crib is a downgrade, costing anywhere from $2,000 to $5,000 monthly. Still, that should be a pretty spacious spot at that price.
There is no word on whether R. Kelly plans to move in with Savage when/if he is released from prison.
Rihanna’s Part On "Believe It" Originally Belonged To PARTYNEXTDOOR’s Girlfriend
Rihanna’s feature on PARTYNEXTDOOR’s “Believe It” off his new album, “PARTYMOBILE,” was originally recorded by PND’s girlfriend.
It turns out that Rihanna‘s vocals on “Believe It” off of PARTYNEXTDOOR’s freshly dropped album, PARTYMOBILE, was a last minute addition, as the part was originally occupied by PND’s girlfriend. PND had been building up to his new album for a hot minute before finally releasing it to the quarantined masses on Friday. While the project, which marks his first body of work since his 2017 EP, Seven Days, and his first studio album since PartyNextDoor 3 in 2016, was an exciting treat on its own, one feature in particular served as an unexpected surprise. Just before PARTYMOBILE was placed in our hands, it was rumoured that Rihanna would be making an appearance on the album, and wouldn’t you know, the practically retired singer did indeed have a minor part on the tenth track, “Believe It.”
Fans were admittedly a little disappointed that, after waiting so long (since Rih’s rap verse on N.E.R.D.‘s “Lemon” back in 2017, to be exact) for a crumb of musical content from the Bad Gal, she only sang a total of five words. However, the Navy is honestly lucky they got to hear anything from Rih at all, since she almost wasn’t included on the song. Originally, the placeholder vocals for Rihanna’s eventual part were actually recorded by PND’s unnamed girlfriend.

Not only that, but PND’s team didn’t even receive Rihanna’s vocals until Monday of this week, giving them roughly three days to finalize the track with Rih on it. As a result of this last-minute scrambling, two of the track’s producers, NinetyFour and Bizzness Boi, decided not to ask PND to send them a preview of “Believe It” in its final form before it was released on streaming services. “You’re a young kid waiting for that present, you wake up, and it’s just there,” NinetyFour said of the reasoning behind their decision. Well, regardless of how small her part is or how last minute the decision was, we’re glad to have even a sliver of new Rihanna music.
