Josh Norman has been one of the most vocal players in the NFL over the last little while. Every single weekend, Norman would come through with a statement about how good he is at the cornerback position and how no one could beat him. Of course, a lot of these comments were false as Norman was consistently beaten by rival receivers. It was clear that Washington was starting to get annoyed with his antics and today, those sentiments were met with serious actions.
According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Redskins are releasing Norman which means he can go wherever he wants in Free Agency. For some fans, it's certainly a surprising move but it makes sense considering his lack of production on defense.
After the news broke, numerous fans took to social media as they displayed their desire for Norman to come to their teams. While he may not be the best corner in the league, he is still good enough to make an impact on a team that is lacking in their secondary. A team that comes to mind is the Philadelphia Eagles who cut Orlando Scandrick earlier this year.

Terrell Owens Trashes Jason Garrett & Gives Thoughts on Tony Romo
Terrell Owens was brutally honest about his Cowboys.
Terrell Owens is one of the best wide receivers to ever play in the NFL and throughout his career, he went through some pretty bizarre phases and controversies. His time with the Dallas Cowboys was particularly tumultuous as it was filled with popcorn, inconsistency, and crying during press conferences. Today, Owens was on The Breakfast Club where he was interviewed by Angela Yee, Charlemagne Tha God, and DJ Envy about his career, his latest ventures, and even the XFL.
At one point in the interview, Charlemagne asked Owens about former Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett and what he thought about him. Owens was quite harsh about Garrett saying they knew he wasn’t a great coach. When Owens left, he had a feeling things wouldn’t change and he turned out to be right. Owens thinks the Cowboys will see a huge surge next season now that they have a brand new coach leading the team.
Owens was then asked about whether quarterback Tony Romo was a better quarterback or analyst. Surprisingly, Owens said Romo was better on TV than in the pocket. This was an interesting admission when you consider how Owens was seen crying on TV while talking about Romo after a game.
The former wide receiver had plenty of interesting observations so be sure to check out the entire interview, above. Also, let us know what you think of his comments and whether or not you agree.

Tom Brady Sparks Patriots Rumors With Julian Edelman IG Comment
Tom Brady and Julian Edelman are a dynamic duo.
Tom Brady is one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game of football and this offseason, he will be in unfamiliar territory. Brady will be a free agent for the first time in his career and has a big decision to make about his future. It's clear he will be playing next season but no one knows where. Most fans think he'll buckle down and come back to the Patriots while others think he's simply going to move on and join a team in need of a quarterback, like the Los Angeles Chargers.
Yesterday, Brady sparked some free agency rumors when he commented on Julian Edelman's latest Instagram post saying "get back to the East coast so we can throw." Clearly, Brady has a desire to workout with his favorite wide receiver who has helped him win three Super Bowls.
Of course, Brady's comment was pretty harmless and can be interpreted in various different ways. As you can imagine, Patriots fans took this as an admission that Brady would be coming back to New England for at least another season. Free agency begins in March so we will only know what Brady is truly thinking, in about a month from now.

Colin Kaepernick Reveals New Memoir, Talks Returning To NFL
Colin Kaepernick still has hope he can play in the NFL again.
Colin Kaepernick has been one of the most controversial figures in sports over the last few years. His anthem protests became a huge source of debate back in 2016 and some people are still mad at him for peacefully protesting racism. The NFL has seemingly blacklisted him from the league although Kaepernick has remained optimistic about coming back to the game.
With the NFL offseason on the horizon, Kaepernick is releasing a memoir about his life and everything he's gone through over the last little while. According to his Twitter account, the book will also come in audio form and will discuss some of his experiences prior to protesting. In a recent interview, Kaepernick expressed a strong desire to get back into the NFL.
“I learned early on that in fighting against systematic oppression, dehumanization and colonization, who controls the narrative shapes the reality of how the world views society. It controls who’s loved, who’s hated, who’s degraded and who’s celebrated," Kaepernick said according to USA Today’s Jarrett Bell. “My desire to play football is still there. I still train five days a week. I’m ready to go, I’m ready for a phone call, tryout, workout at any point in time. I’m still waiting on the owners and their partners to stop running from this situation. So I hope I get a call this offseason. I’ll be looking forward to it.”
For now, it remains to be seen whether or not a team takes a chance on him. While it may seem unlikely, there are certainly a few teams who could use him.
Panthers Owner Questions Cam Newton’s Future With The Team
Newton has dealt with various injury problems over the last little while.
Cam Newton has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL over the last decade although unfortunately, his last few seasons have been plagued by various injuries. After coming back from a shoulder injury last season, Newton hurt his foot and was sidelined for an entire season. Newton recently commented on his situation and assured Panthers fans that he would be back and better than ever.
In a recent interview with ESPN’s David Newton, Panthers owner David Tepper sang a completely different tune. As he explains, Newton hasn’t been healthy is quite some time and he won’t discuss Newton’s future until he knows for sure what’s going on. Based on the tone of his comments, Tepper seems frustrated and it could spell trouble for the Panthers in the future.

“Listen, I’m not a doctor,” Tepper said. “And I’ve said it a million times: ‘Is he healthy?’ He’s not a doctor. There’s a lot of different things that can happen. But first is, is he healthy? Tell me that, and then we can talk.”
Heading into the offseason, it will be interesting to see what becomes of Newton’s situation. There have been trade rumors surrounding the star and if he is, indeed moved, then we’re in for one peculiar news cycle.
Antonio Brown’s Lawyer Attempts To Withdraw From Sexual Assault Case
Antonio Brown's case was opened back in September.
Antonio Brown was accused of sexual assault and rape by his former trainer, Britney Taylor. These allegations were brought up by Taylor in September and they came with a civil lawsuit. In addition to this suit, Brown was hit with an internal investigation from the NFL, which hasn't even concluded yet. There have been very few updates on this case, until yesterday, when it was reported by Daniel Kaplan of The Athletic that Brown's lawyer would actually be withdrawing from the case. The paperwork has been filed in Florida State court which means the request is now official.
It remains to be seen how this case is going to play out. If Brown can't find a new lawyer, it's going to be difficult to represent himself. It's important to note that his lawyer's reasoning for filing a motion to withdraw is unknown. There could be a whole plethora of reasons for why he decided to withdraw although we'll probably never know due to confidentiality.
Meanwhile, Brown is looking to get back into the NFL next season. If he loses the suit, his career could very well be over, especially considering everything that has gone down these past few months.

Antonio Brown Gives His Thoughts On CTE In Latest IG Post
Antonio Brown is adamant he doesn’t have the disease.
Antonio Brown has been a fixture of the news cycle over the past few months although, in the last couple of weeks, he has turned a new leaf. Ever since his arrest in Miami, AB has been living his life drama-free and seems to be doing quite well. The NFL star is making strides to get his mental health right while also working on his burgeoning music career.
Due to his past behavior, some have theorized that AB has CTE which is an aggressive brain disease that is commonly found in football players. The disease can only be diagnosed once someone is deceased so it’s impossible to tell whether Brown really has it. AB has been quite firm on his stance that he doesn’t have the disease and in his most recent Instagram post, AB made sure let us know that in 2020, we’re blacklisting CTE.
It remains to be seen what will become of Brown’s football career, moving forward. The NFL has vowed to get him help although they have yet to make a judgment in the investigation against him. Philip Rivers Reveals How Much Longer He Plans On Playing For
Rivers is 38 years old.
Yesterday, it was revealed that the Los Angeles Chargers and Philip Rivers would be parting ways after a 16-year partnership. Rivers has been the backbone of that franchise for a long time although it's clear the two would be better off apart. At 38 years old, Rivers still has some gas left in the tank and will be entering free agency where he hopes to become a starter for a contending team.
In a recent interview, Rivers spoke on how much longer he hopes to play. Unsurprisingly, Rivers only wants to play for a few more years as he realizes his play will continue to decline. Regardless, he hopes to play well enough to earn himself a second season with whichever team he signs to.
“I can say for certain that if I’m playing, it’s a two-year maximum,” Philip Rivers said per The Los Angeles Times. “Whoever the suitors are, I think that would be their hope as well. Because you never know how it goes. Shoot, if we stink it up after one year, I’m probably done. If we play really good, they’ll probably want to go again.”
Rivers will have a big decision to make in March so stay tuned as we will be sure to bring you the latest on his situation. Let us know where you'd like to see Rivers land next season.
Patriots’ Reasoning For Letting Tom Brady Become Free Agent Revealed
Brady and the Patriots have some big decisions to make.
Heading into March, Tom Brady will be in a position he's never had to deal with before. The six-time Super Bowl-champion is about to become a free agent for the first time in his entire career. The New England Patriots and Tom Brady have been married for 20 years now and they have come together for one of the best dynasties in the history of sports. Brady is on the decline but at 42 years old, some teams feel like he is still good enough to help their team go out and win a championship. Meanwhile, if the Patriots do let Brady walk, it will be difficult to find a suitable replacement.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Patriots' reasoning for letting Tom Brady go to free agency was simple. They want Brady and head coach Bill Belichick to take their time deciding if it would make sense to continue their relationship. Belichick is very particular about his personnel and if he doesn't feel like Brady is good enough anymore, he could say goodbye in swift fashion.
