It appears Deion Sanders ain’t too happy with the growing number of NFL players being selecting into the Hall Of Fame. In a recent interview on the Dan Patrick Show, Deion voiced his displeasure for the amount of players being elected into the hall, and he believes its watering down the honor.
“What is a Hall of Famer now? Is it a guy who played a long time?” Sanders said. “It’s so skewed now. Once upon a time, a Hall of Famer was a player who changed the darn game, who made you want to reach in your pocket and pay your admission to see that guy play. That’s not a Hall of Famer anymore. Every Tom, Dick and Harry, you’re a Hall of Famer, you’re a Hall of Famer, you’re a Hall of Famer. They let everybody in this thing. It’s not exclusive anymore. And I don’t like it.”
Sanders added that he doesn’t think there should be a minimum number of new Hall of Famers each year. The Hall has enshrined at least six new members in every class since 2006, and Sanders thinks that’s too many. “It should be based on, ‘Are you that guy?’ Not just because we have to meet a quota,” Sanders added.

Stephen A. Smith Gives Tom Brady Stern Advice Ahead Of Free Agency
Stephen A. doesn't want Brady to make any compromises.
For the first time in his storied career, Tom Brady will be a free agent as of March 16th. This means he is free to go wherever he wants and he will have all the leverage in the world when dealing with the New England Patriots. The Patriots won six Super Bowls with Brady as their quarterback and fans want to see him back on the team. While he may be on the decline, Brady is a staple of Patriots football and is one of the most dominant players in sports history.
With this in mind, many pundits are giving their take on what Brady should do. One of those pundits is none other than Stephen A. Smith of ESPN's First Take. Smith made the case that Brady should wait and see what the Patriots want to do before he tells the franchise anything. For now, the Patriots want to hear from Brady first but Stephen A. wants the six-time champion to stop doing favors for his team.
The free agency cycle is going to be incredibly interesting with Brady available and we can't wait to see which teams go after him. There are plenty of squads who could use his services and we're sure it will be a fun period of speculation.

Saints Release Statement In Regards To Catholic Church Allegations
The Saints have found themselves at the center of a big controversy.
Earlier today, it was reported that the New Orleans Saints were being investigated for their alleged role in helping the Catholic Church clean up recent reports of sexual abuse amongst members of the New Orleans clergy. Owner Gayle Benson is a devout Catholic and it was discovered that team executives were allegedly giving the church public relations advice in relation to the sexual abuse allegations.
As of right now, the Saints are trying to keep any e-mails between themselves and the church, private. This could prove to be a tall task as some feel like the e-mails are of the public interest. In a statement on their team website, the Saints cleared up some misconceptions and even condemned the church for their role in any alleged sexual abuse.

Per Saints:
“While there is current litigation relative to the New Orleans Archdiocese and clergy sex abuse, our comments are limited only to the scope of our involvement. The New Orleans Saints organization has always had a very strong relationship with the Archdiocese. The Archdiocese reached out to a number of community and civic minded leaders seeking counsel on handling the pending media attention that would come with the release of the clergy names in November of 2018. Greg Bensel, Senior Vice President of Communications for the New Orleans Saints, was contacted and offered input on how to work with the media. The advice was simple and never wavering. Be direct, open and fully transparent, while making sure that all law enforcement agencies were alerted. The New Orleans Saints, Greg Bensel and Mrs. Gayle Benson were and remain offended, disappointed and repulsed by the actions of certain past clergy. We remain steadfast in support of the victims who have suffered and pray for their continued healing.”
In the coming weeks, a judge will rule on whether or not the e-mails will be released. In the meantime, stay tuned as we will be sure to bring you updates on this developing story.

AB was released on bail.

For instance, the football star will need to wear a GPS device and will also need to undergo a mental health evaluation within the next 10 days.
Earlier today, Brown was released from the jail where he was met by cameras. As you can see in the video below, Brown can be seen running down the steps outside of the jail and into the parking lot. Eventually, he runs the wrong way and is directed back the other way.

Tom Brady Sends Friendly Parting Shots At Eli Manning, Eli Responds
Brady had to go and make a joke.
Today, Eli Manning addressed the media for the first time since it was revealed that he would be retiring from football. The New York Giants legend won two Super Bowls with the team and both of them were against none other than Tom Brady. Brady and Manning have built up quite the rivalry over the years and now, Brady is the last one standing with six Super Bowls to his name.
This morning, Brady took to Twitter where he sent some shots at Manning, saying "Congratulations on your retirement, and a great career Eli! Not going to lie though, I wish you hadn’t won any Super Bowls." Of course, Brady was just joking although Manning made sure to strike back.
"I’ve been around Tom. I know how competitive he is. We joke around about this a little bit ... But it’s not real funny to him," Manning said.
During today's press conference, it was revealed that Manning would have his jersey retired. He will also be made a part of the Giants' ring of honor. Now, all Manning has to wait on is whether or not he will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of fame. With two Super Bowls to his name, he definitely has a good case.
Richard Sherman Reveals If He Would Participate In White House Visit
Sherman has been very opinionated when it comes to politics.
Richard Sherman and the San Francisco 49ers will be in Miami next week as they look to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 54. Whoever wins will be given the Lombardi Trophy as every single winning player will have their name etched into history. This is one of the most intriguing matchups we have seen in a while and fans can’t wait to see how it goes down. Having said that, whoever wins will have a huge choice to make as it pertains to going to the White House to meet the President.
White House visits are customary for championship teams, especially when it comes to football. President Donald Trump has had a tumultuous relationship with the league and many players have taken notice. Recently, Sherman was asked by Scott Ostler of the San Francisco Chronicle whether or not he would want to go meet Trump. As you can imagine, Sherman wasn’t thrilled by the idea.

“I haven’t thought about it. We’ve got a long way between now and then, but I doubt it,” Sherman said. One of Sherman’s teammates, Nick Bosa, is known as a big Trump supporter so it will be interesting to see what kind of conflict arises should Sherman decide not to go to the White House. Of course, none of this matters if the 49ers lose.

Saints Accused Of Helping Catholic Church Cover Up Sexual Abuse: Report
Saints owner Gayle Benson is a devout Catholic.
Disturbing news is coming out of the NFL today as the Associated Press is reporting that the New Orleans Saints are going to court to keep private e-mails from going public. What makes these private e-mails so disturbing is the fact that they are in connection with New Orleans’ Roman Catholic archdiocese which has been accused of numerous sexual abuse scandals. According to the report, team executives allegedly helped the archdiocese in covering up some of the crimes while providing public relations aid.
“Obviously, the Saints should not be in the business of assisting the Archdiocese, and the Saints’ public relations team is not in the business of managing the public relations of criminals engaged in pedophilia,” attorneys said. “The Saints realize that if the documents at issue are made public, this professional sports organization also will be smearing itself.”

The archdiocese is also looking to keep these e-mails private. Saints officials have called these claims “outrageous” and are adamant they never helped the church in such a way. The team’s owner, Gayle Benson, is known as a devout Catholic and has ties to the church. In addition, it has been said that the e-mails sent to the church have NFL.com domains.
As of right now, the NFL has yet to comment on the case. In the coming weeks, the court will hear arguments over whether or not these documents should be released for public consumption. Should these e-mails be released, the Saints could be in a whole heap of trouble.
Stay tuned for updates as we will be sure to bring them to you.
Eli Manning Breaks Silence On Retirement, Will Have Number Retired
Eli is a New York legend.
Eli Manning won two Super Bowls throughout his career with the New York Giants although, over the past few seasons, he has struggled immensely on the field. Earlier this week, it was reported that Manning would be retiring from football and fans were quite upset about it, even if it's ultimately for the best.

Peyton Manning Reacts To Eli’s Recent Retirement Announcement

“I’m happy for Eli, because I know he’s at peace and he put a lot of time and thought into this decision,” Manning said according to the Denver Broncos Website. “But I am sad, because I won’t get to see him play anymore. And after my dad and Dan Marino, Eli really was my favorite player. So I have to find a new one. But for really 19 years going back to his three years at Ole Miss, 16 years in the NFL, I have enjoyed watching him play, watching him compete, watching him grow into a man. It’s been a heck of a run.”
