Has it ever crossed anybody's mind that this could possibly be the exact reason why Summer Walker is so fed up with the idea of fame, threatening to retire from music after this year? The R&B star is the recent subject of plastic surgery rumors with fans convinced she went and knifed up her nose. The singer was spotted wearing a face mask in the last few weeks and, during her date night with London On Da Track in Las Vegas at the Wilder-Fury fight, she took the covers off to unveil what some are saying is a new nose.

After finding her name in gossip headlines pertaining to an alleged appearance shift, fans have started comparing the singer to Michael Jackson when pointing out the alleged differences in her look. "Went and got the Jackson family special and messed up her nose," wrote one commenter on social media. "Summer Walker has the same nose as Michael Jackson during the ‘Invincible’ era," said another.

If we're being completely honest, who even cares if she got a nose job? If she did -- and we're not saying that's the case -- then she likely was unhappy with her appearance and decided to change it so she could hopefully be more secure. Can we please stop speculating about this now?

Summer Walker has been in the news a lot lately after announcing that, after this year, she would no longer be releasing new music and now, she's back in the headlines because her fans are theorizing that she's gotten plastic surgery on her nose. Earlier this week, the rising singer was spotted wearing a mask to cover her face, much like Cardi B did a few weeks back. Both stars faced the same type of chatter when they covered up their faces and, now that she's officially unmasked, people are convinced that Summer went and got some sort of procedure on her nose. 

Comparing old and new photos will likely leave you believing that something has been done to change Summer Walker's appearance but, until she comes out and confirms anything of that nature, it would be unfair to assume. It's not uncommon to find the artist's name trending because of something she's said or done -- like her retirement announcement for the end of 2020 -- but these allegations are new. This isn't the only drastic change that Summer Walker may have effected in regards to her look. Just a few days ago, the singer debuted her freshly-shaved head, telling the world that she would be re-starting her hair journey from scratch.

The constant scrutiny that female celebrities face over their appearance is certainly still an issue but with artists like Billie Eilish and Lizzo breaking out in recent years, we may be slowly moving away from a hyper-sexualized, twig-figure ideal. Chasing beauty standards, women and men alike have often turned to cosmetic surgery to alter their looks, making slight changes to their bodies and faces to feel more secure in their skin. Cardi B has been accused on several occasions of getting knifed up and, most recently, she was spotted wearing face masks to cover her nose and mouth for weeks. After unmasking, some fans noticed differences in her look from before and after and critics are harshly picking apart her “new nose.” While she hasn’t even confirmed whether or not she has gotten surgery — and she certainly doesn’t need to — Cardi B’s nose remains a major subject of interest among gossipers.

One of the top trends on the internet this morning has to do with Cardi B and her alleged plastic surgery, based on an article that MTO News published. As you surely know, they don’t have the greatest track record when it comes to things like this. However, it’s worth mentioning that social media is basically convinced that Miss Bardi has, at least, gotten a rhinoplasty procedure, which would explain the masks.

It was only a matter of time before the rumors intensified. For several weeks, global superstar Cardi B has been parading around in a multitude of different face masks, stylishly hiding her visage and prompting her supporters to ponder the reasoning behind her decision to block her face. At the time, plastic surgery murmurs could be heard throughout social media and, after her numerous appearances this weekend, people are convinced that they were correct to assume she had gotten some work done.

Cardi B has not confirmed any of the gossip but, if you look around Twitter right now, you'll see tons of people suggesting the rapper went under the knife. Hitting the red carpet for the Grammy Awards last night, the Bronx emcee looked like a different person, resembling her sister more than herself. Comparing close-up photos of her face from this weekend and earlier events, you'll notice differences right away but maybe she was just trying out different types of make-up? As reported by Bossip, some of her most loyal fans believe she got a nose job, an eye lift, and fat moved in her face.
