However, not everyone thinks that the public is getting all the information necessary about the virus. Safaree took to Twitter to start a dialogue about the fear that has been instilled into civilians about contracting coronavirus. The rapper and reality star noted that folks should not let the viral epidemic control their whole lives.
"Stop letting the carona [sic] virus stop y’all from living y’all lives," he tweeted on Tuesday. "I don’t trust the government. They got something to do with it. They shoulda stopped certain flights from coming in to America since December. Go chuck up Innah yuh mumma trump !!" While Safaree may not be too worried, other celebrities, like Card B, certainly are. Cardi admitted that she's pretty terrified of the coronavirus, and that she's stocking up on food in preparation.

Elon Musk is not on board with instilling fear into the public about the coronavirus, calling the whole panic surrounding the outbreak "dumb." However, Elon Musk seems to believe that we shouldn't be so concerned about the deadly disease. On Friday, the Tesla CEO denounced the public hysteria surrounding the epidemic Twitter, writing, "The coronavirus panic is dumb."
Less than 24 hours after it was posted, the tweet has garnered a whopping 1.3 million likes, 275.6K retweets, and 32K replies. Elon was slammed by many users for minimizing the severity of the epidemic, calling him out for his lack of medical expertise and the protections his wealth offers him.
Ironically, Tesla's Shanghai factory was temporarily shut down at the end of January due to concerns surrounding coronavirus, before reopening on February 10th. The Tesla headquarters are located in California, where there are now 69 confirmed cases of coronavirus. While other tech companies like Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and Twitter have asked employees to work from home in an attempt to prevent the spread of the virus, it is unclear if Tesla has taken the same precautions with its workers.
“Lofi Hip Hop Radio – Beats To Relax/Study To” Returns After Causing Panic
YouTube apologizes for accidentally removing the popular channel.
The golden rule is: Thou shalt kill the chill. Therefore, YouTube should be held accountable for disabling the "lofi hip hop radio – beats to relax/study to" channel, even if it was an accident. Regular listeners of the ChilledCow-curated stream were sent into a panic when they discovered over the weekend that they had lost their source of lo-fi beats. In a society where we all strive (or are required) to be productive workers, vibe-y and non-intrusive background music allows us to go about our daily tasks without losing our minds.
On Saturday (Feb. 22), after receiving a message that they violated YouTube's terms of service, ChilledCow took to Twitter to request further explanation from the platform for their channel's removal. YouTube responded: "Thanks for flagging this to us! Our teams confirmed that this was a mistake on our side and your channel has now been reinstated. We’re sorry this happened! We've shared feedback with our review team to prevent similar errors from happening in the future."
All those that need their IV-drip of lo-fi beats can now rejoice because the channel has been reinstated with a new stream. According to The Verge, the original lofi hip hop radio – beats to relax/study to video continuously played for almost two years, amassing 218 million views. The young anime girl seen on the channel's page can continue infinitely doing her homework and you can resume whatever it is you have to do!
