We are living in unprecedented times right now. The world has effectively been shut down for an undetermined amount of time because of the coronavirus outbreak. In order to protect the millions of people at risk, governments worldwide have instated shelter-at-home measures, urging people to stay inside and practice social distancing. Every industry has been affected by the outbreak, including the music business. However, leaders like TIDAL are trying their hardest to make these next few days/weeks/months comfortable by digging through the archives and providing ample live-stream concert material for us to enjoy.
Announcing the At Home With TIDAL live-stream series, TIDAL revealed that daily live-streams will be available for music fans to connect with their favorite artists while still social distancing. Beginning today, the streaming service will shuffle through genres to cater to a wide array of music fans. The 12-hour daily live-streams will feature exclusive content from past performances by some of the industry's finest.
Today is Latin day, featuring Jennifer Lopez, Daddy Yankee, and more. Tomorrow will focus on pop, with performances from Lizzo, Rosalia, The Chainsmokers, and others. Friday will be electronic before the real fun starts on the weekend.
Saturday will bring us a flurry of past performances by some of hip-hop's greatest current stars, including Jay-Z, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Gunna, 21 Savage, and City Girls. Then, things continue on Sunday with an R&B showcase of Beyoncé, Rihanna, Ari Lennox, Trey Songz, Jorja Smith, and H.E.R.
Since we can't enjoy any music festivals in the foreseeable future, have some fun this weekend (and right now!) with TIDAL.
Post Malone & The Migos Set To Perform At Michael Rubin’s Fanatics Super Bowl 2020 Bash
Post Malone & The Migos got the call for this year’s Fanatics Super Bowl pre-party.
Michael G. Rubin, the CEO and majority owner for the e-commerce retailer, Fanatics, has become the curator for one of the hottest Super Bowl pre-parties in existence in just a single year. Last year, the Fanatics Super Bowl pre-party featured performances by the likes of Meek Mill and Cardi B and one of the best moments in recent hip-hop history as Robert Kraft took to the stage in a diamond-encrusted Dreamchasers chain and danced alongside the “Bickenhead” rapper. While Kraft’s surroundings might have influenced him to make some questionable decisions, Rubin, Kraft, Meek Mill, and Jay Z have since then come together to fight against injustice. And now, this year the Fanatics Super Bowl pre-party is scheduled to feature new headliners, Post Malone and The Migos.

According to Page Six, not only will the Fanatics Super Bowl 2020 Bash performance stage will remain to be top-tier of all the parties surrounding the final game of the NFL season, so will the guest list. Some of the guests expected to attend Mike Rubin’s Super Bowl celebration include the likes of Kevin Hart, Shaquille O’Neal, Alex Rodriguez, Saquon Barkley, Todd Gurley, CC Sabathia, Aaron Judge, Nick Lachey, Erin Andrews, Robert Kraft, and more.
With Culture 3, presumably in the works, and word of a possible release date leaking onto the internet, The Migos are looking to continue their reign as one of the most prominent rap collectives in hip-hop. And with Post Malone revealing he wants to drop an album this year all the while starring in not one but two Super Bowl commercials for Doritos and Bud Light, this year’s Fanatics Super Bowl pre-party is shaping up to be one of the premier events surrounding Super Bowl Sunday.

DJ Khaled, who took home the Grammy Award for Best rap/Sung Performance for his single “Higher,” featuring the prolific and late-Nipsey Hussle and John Legend, will be performing at several parties in his hometown of Miami including the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest’s EA Sports Bowl, the VEWTOPIA Music Festival, and Rolling Stone’s party. In an interview with the Associated Press, the mega-producer had this to say about his Super Bowl plans:
“Oh yeah, we’re definitely celebrating (this) week. I remember Super Bowl came here 10 years ago and it was a special time. We want to make this special, too. I’m excited it’s in Miami.”
Coming off of her Grammy Award victories, Lizzo will also be making an appearance in Miami performing at the SiriusXM & Pandora Opening Drive Super Concert Series and then at the Planet Pepsi Zero Sugar party alongside Harry Styles and others.
Cardi B has been booked to perform at an upcoming trailer reveal party for Fast & Furious 9 as well as a late-night performance at LIV and VEWTOPIA as a headlining act. Lady Gaga, who performed during the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show will provide entertainment for the AT&T TV Super Saturday Night audience while Post Malone hits the stage at the Bootsy On the Water pop-up.
Shaquille O’Neal, who’s been struggling immensely with the death of Kobe Bryant, will be bringing his carnival-themed music festival, Shaq’s Fun House to Miami for Super Bowl LIV. The festival featuring performances by Diddy, Diplo, Pitbull, himself as DJ Diesel, and more will donate 100% of its proceeds to the Vanessa & Kobe Bryant Foundation as well as the families who lost loved ones in this past week’s helicopter accident.
In an Instagram post, the Hall of Fame center revealed that he almost canceled his upcoming event stating:
“Part of me wanted to stay to myself as I reflect what my brother and his family mean to me and my family. But in thinking what would Kobe want, what would he do? Kobe would want us to push through and celebrate life. So let’s just do that.”
While the world might not have Kobe and Gianna Bryant to provide us with the drive we need to be our best selves, life will continue on and force the masses to be accountable for our own greatness. Check out Shaq’s post about the loss of his brother below and tune into Super Bowl LIV this Sunday at 6:30 P.M. EST on FOX.
