It took a while but Iggy Azalea has finally confirmed that she gave birth to a baby boy several months ago.

The Australian rapper was rumored to have given birth to a baby with her boyfriend Playboi Carti and, this morning, she told the world that the speculation was correct.

“I have a son,” she said on her Instagram Story. “I kept waiting for the right time to say something but it feels like the more time passes the more I realize I’m always going to feel anxious to share news this giant with the world.”

Iggy Azalea recently returned to social media, keeping the news veiled and making everybody do a double-take by sharing pictures of her flat tummy and chiseled abs. For a while, it seemed as though there was no truth to the chatter.

“I want to keep his life private but wanted to make it clear he is not a secret & I love him beyond words,” added Iggy.

In the post, she did not confirm that Playboi Carti is the father of the baby. However, many fans are assuming that he is, especially after he was spotted shopping for a luxury car that can fit a baby seat.

It looks like not everybody is all that familiar with Playboi Carti‘s discography, especially self-proclaimed “smart Conservative pages” on Instagram. On Friday, @conservative.genius, a right-wing IG account that claims to post “Facts and Logic” as well as “Smart Conservative Content,” shared an anti-protest graphic that included a collage of photos. Along with the shots from recent demonstrations as a message that read, “if their cause is worth hearing, why do they resort to this?” However, among the photos of burning cop cars and establishments was one image that didn’t quite seem to fit. This account appears to have mistaken the album cover for Playboi Carti’s 2018 debut album, Die Lit, for a Black Lives Matter protest photo.

Of course, Carti’s diehard fans quickly took notice of this hilarious blunder, and promptly roasted whoever was behind this “smart” account. “THE DIE LIT ALBUM COVER dude calls himself a genius, yet cant differentiate a real picture from an album cover LMFAOOO delete ya entire account sir,” one user wrote. “This can’t be real there no way you used the die lit album cover,” another commented. Many fans also flooded the comments with the lyrics to some of the songs off the album, while others just spammed the post with clown emojis for obvious reasons.

The user behind the account eventually caught on to their critical error, although they don’t quite seem to understand the extent of their mistake. “Sorry all, I didn’t realise that picture of a riot was also used as an album cover, however I won’t be taking it down,” the account posted to its story, along with three American flags. Someone please tell them that the photo wasn’t taken at a riot at all, and even if it was, it certainly wasn’t in recent weeks.

Folks just aren’t going to let up on Iggy Azalea. The rapper and her boyfriend Playboi Carti have been the target of the gossip mill who have claimed that the pair recently welcomed a child together. While neither artist has confirmed or denied the claims, people are determined to somehow prove that The New Classic star is or was with child. She recently shared a photo that showed her slim figure, but that hasn’t stopped people from making remarks about her body.

After sharing another picture of herself, a fan commented that she’s “gaining weight,” but added that the rapper was “still looking FAB!” Even with the compliment, Iggy Azalea seemed irritated with the response. “Why do I have to be gaining weight because I want to post a few selfies? The obsession with my body you guys have is unhealthy,” she replied. “I posted a picture of my body just last week I HAVE A F*CKING SIX PACK.” Please get a life. Every image I post does not need to be of my body.”

At the end of last week, Yung Lean made a return with a new album, Starz. The album only contained one feature from Ariel Pink on the title track, but this could have been different– in an alternate reality, Starz would also contain a feature from the ever elusive Playboi Carti.

The two were first spotted together in the studio, teasing a snippet of a collaboration, back in January, amping up excitement among fans of both outlier rappers. Given each artist’s respective cult-like followings, we could only imagine the type of streaming power these two would amass. Nonetheless, it appears that label politics got in the way– as they often do. Lean shared a message of thanks to his fans post-Starz release, as well as the collaborators and people who helped make the album happen. Among those receiving his appreciation, was Carti. In reference to Carti, he revealed that it was neither his nor Carti’s decision to remove his verse from the album: “It was his label that removed his verse cos politics, not me or him,” he stated in his caption.

He wrote in the full caption, “Yoo I jus wanna say a big thank u to all my fans and Every1 involved in this. I love this album n proud of what we did . Wouldn’t be possible without, Whitearmor my big brother & Sherm my love, Ariel Pink, Carti( It was his label that removed his verse cos politics, not me or him ) All the Studios in Portugal, Sweden(Falun,Gnesta) La , Year0001, all dat , Sadboys forever Xoxo Leandoer.”

Unless these are old pictures, or she just had an incredible comeback from her pregnancy body, then it’s possible that the rumors that she gave birth to Playboi Carti‘s baby are untrue.

Nobody is quite sure what to believe after Iggy Azalea returned to Instagram with some new pictures this week. Her first post of the year was uploaded several days ago, flaunting her flat stomach in some athletic wear. Then, she slipped into a skintight dress and showed off her famous curves. Ask anybody and they’ll tell you that she does not look like a woman that gave birth a few weeks ago.

For months, Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti were rumored to have been expecting their first child together. The latest rumors point to the baby officially being born. Carti even went and bought a family-friendly luxury SUV, making sure that he could place a baby seat in the back. However, neither of them has confirmed or denied the news.

So, what is the truth? Is Iggy Azalea just keeping people guessing by sharing some old pictures or was she never pregnant in the first place?

Drake‘s 10-year reign debuting at the top of the Billboard 200 ended this week when Dark Lane Demo Tapes debuted at number 2 on the charts. Kenny Chesney’s latest album proved too powerful for the 6ix God’s surprise release but that doesn’t mean that Drake’s numbers were weak by any means. The strength of his recent compilation project earned all fourteen songs a placement on the Billboard Hot 100 including two spaces in the top 10.

Though “Toosie Slide” slid down one spot to number 4, he claimed another position with the long-awaited Playboi Carti collab, “PAIN 1993.” The song debuted at number 7 on the Hot 100, marking Carti’s first top 10 single on the chart. It’s a huge milestone for the rapper, though it isn’t all that shocking. “PAIN 1993” was among the previously leaked songs that made their way onto the tracklist. Clearly, the anticipation was high for the song, especially since snippets of the song surfaced across the web.

Drake certainly did help Playboi Carti reach this milestone but it was an equally beneficial move to release the song. As it sits in the top 10, Drake has now tied Madonna for the most amount of top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Surely, he will surpass her in the months to come whether it’s from a new collaboration or the release of his sixth studio album which is expected to drop this summer. 

Although Playboi Carti and Iggy Azalea have yet to confirm whether they recently became new parents after rumours circulated last week that the couple had welcomed their first child, Carti’s recent automotive purchase feels like a pretty big hint. According to TMZ, Carti dropped $400,000 on one of the most luxurious family-friendly rides out there: a 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV. The rapper made the pricey purchase from celebrity car broker RD Whittington’s company, Wires Only, and paid an additional $10,000 rush shipping fee to have it delivered to his home in Atlanta ASAP.

Carti reportedly had certain upgrades added such as a set of two leather seats and cocktail table that emerge from the luggage department at the touch of a button. The car also includes a tilting and retractable sunroof and fold-down TV screens. Check out more photos of the opulent whip here.

TMZ reported that Carti had specifically requested a larger vehicle in which he could safely install a baby car seat. While nothing is for certain, this would be a pretty odd request if he and Iggy hadn’t just welcomed a child. Only time will tell if this rap couple really do have a little one calling them “Mom” and “Dad” now.

Internet darling Playboi Carti's collaboration with Drake, "Pain 1993," was finally released as part of the Dark Lane Demo Tapes but not everybody was happy about it. In fact, a good number of social media critics have been trashing Carti's verse on the song after so much anticipation had been built for it. One of the people who was not happy about it was producer CashMoneyAP.

Reacting to the track after listening for the first time, CashMoneyAP asked what everybody thought of "Pain 1993," revealing his own feelings about it in a tweet.

"Why is carti verse not good man," questioned the highly-touted beatmaker. 

It feels like forever since the last time Drake dropped a full-length project but, without much notice, the King of Toronto came through unannounced with a surprise mixtape called the Dark Lane Demo Tapes. 

On Thursday (April 30), it was rumored that Drake would be releasing something at the end of the day and those rumblings came true when Dark Lane Demo Tapes hit the internet. As expected, the new collection features a flurry of songs that the fans had been asking for, including his “Demons” collaboration with Fivio Foreign and Sosa Geek, his “Pain 1993” track with Playboi Carti, and an official release of “Desires” with Future. Elsewhere on the 14-track display, there are songs that nobody even knew about.

Another new collaboration with Chris Brown, titled “Not You Too,” is threatening to become another sleeper hit after the success of “No Guidance” last year. In addition to that, a fresh link-up between Drake, Future, and Young Thug called “D4L” took the world by storm.

There is definitely a lot to unpack with this mixtape, but Drake is already looking toward his future. The superstar recording artist announced that his next album will be released in the summer, teasing a new track with Roddy Ricch shortly after the arrival of the Dark Lane Demo Tapes.

The rumors are true. There have been murmurs that Drake was planning on releasing a mixtape tonight, and Champagne Papi surfaced on Instagram to confirm the news. The Toronto icon has been teasing fans with bits about his forthcoming album that’s slated for release this year. While we await his next project, fans haven’t been without new music from OVO Sound’s head honcho. He’s collaborated with a bevy of artists and shared a few unreleased tunes on SoundCloud.

Answering the call of his admirers who want to hear more from the rapper, Drake shared moments ago that he is, indeed, releasing a record this evening titled Dark Lane Demo Tapes. Additionally, he let the world know when they can expect his sixth studio album. “My brothers @oliverelkhatib @ovonoel put together alot of the songs people have been asking for (some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud and some new vibes) DARK LANE DEMO TAPES out everywhere at midnight,” the rapper wrote. “Also my 6th STUDIO ALBUM DROPPING SUMMER 2020!!! Lucky number 6 ? soon fwd.”
