LeBron James Responds To DeMarcus Cousins’ President Comments

LeBron James as POTUS would be an interesting sight.

LeBron James is seen as one of the most vocal leaders in the NBA community. The three-time champion is constantly speaking on behalf of the players and making sure they get what they deserve. He is also outspoken about causes that matter to him, including education and mental health. Needless to say, LeBron is someone who does a lot of good for his community and his efforts are recognized by not just fans but his peers as well. For instance, LeBron's teammate, DeMarcus Cousins, went on the All The Smoke podcast and said that James should run for president someday.

After Lakers practice, LeBron was asked about Cousins' comments and whether or not he would ever seriously consider running for POTUS. LeBron immediately laughed off the question and said it was definitely not in the cards, at least anytime soon.

So, there you have it. President LeBron won't be happening in our lifetime. This shouldn't be a surprising admission although considering we have a game show host in the White House, nothing is really off-limits these days. Either way, if you were hoping for a James presidency, we are extremely sorry to have disappointed you.

Perhaps when LeBron retires, he will get into the political realm some other way.

DeMarcus Cousins Explains Why LeBron James Should Be President

DeMarcus Cousins is a big fan of his Los Angeles Lakers teammate.

DeMarcus Cousins hasn't played a single game for the Los Angeles Lakers this season although he has been front and center for much of this success. As a result, Cousins has gotten to know LeBron James first hand and can confidently speak to the superstar's character. In a recent appearance on the All The Smoke podcast with Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes, Cousins talked at length about LeBron and his thoughts on the NBA legend.

As he explains, Cousins never expected LeBron to be so down to earth especially since he only knew him as more of a corporate guy. However, playing with LeBron has allowed Cousins to understand just how real LeBron is and that he's a guy who gets things done. Cousins strongly believes LeBron is one of the most well-liked guys in the NBA and that he should even run for president someday.

Cousins thinks if there is anyone in the NBA who could be president, it would have to be LeBron. Barnes and Jackson immediately agreed with Cousins and noted that if he were to run, they would immediately vote for him. Oddly enough, LeBron is 35 now which means he would technically be allowed to run in 2020 but clearly, that's not in the cards.

These latest comments bode well for LeBron who has been criticized at times for being difficult to play with. Based on Cousins' account, there is no teammate better than James.

Daymond John Believes Kim Kardashian Will Be President One Day 


Daymond John actually listed some legit reasons as to how Kim Kardashian could become President one day.

As of right now, Kim Kardashian-West’s main concerns are the well-being of her family and running successful business ventures. At one point in time, Kim Kardashian’s reputation was reduced down to her leaked sex tape and being the main star of E!’s reality television series, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. These days, the socialite has found purpose, attending classes to become a lawyer and using her platform to affect prison reform. While in the past, the SKIMS CEO has stated that she doesn’t want to enter the political realm, Shark Tank‘s very own Daymond John believes that Kim Kardashian-West will be the President of the United States one day.

The FUBU founder ran into TMZ recently and the publication raised the topic of Mrs. West running for office and her chances of winning an election. Daymond John listed some quality reasons as to why Kim Kardashian could possibly become the President including her recent affiliation with justice reform, the female empowerment her family displays, her family leading a healthy lifestyle, and more. During the short interaction John stated:

“Listen, I think Kim could be President. She went ahead and she freed Alice (Marie Johnson) out of jail, she worked with the President, she’s going to get a further education… At the palm of her hand, she can touch 200 million people and maybe in eight years, she’ll have 500 million, 600 million (followers). She has LGBT in her family, has mixed relationships in her family, has a family full of women. She doesn’t drink, she doesn’t smoke, she doesn’t do anything else and people feel like they know her.”

Kim Kardashian-West has already partnered with current Head of State, Donald Trump, which boosts her political portfolio and has an insane social media following that could be influential to her being a strong Presidential candidate in the future. With the presence of 45 in the Oval Office today, how far-fetched is it for Kim Kardashian to be the leader of the free world one day? Daymond John thinks it’s an attainable goal for the reality TV starlet turned entrepreneur.

Donald Trump Shares Larry David Clip Wearing MAGA Hat, Twitter Reacts

Donny thought he really was doing something.

After being acquitted of his impeachment charges last week, Donald Trump has been riding on cloud nine. However, never in the history of the United States of America have we witnessed a Head of State with multiple sexual assault cases and accusations against him and someone who's so easily agitated and reactive to the negative things said about him. On Monday (Feb. 10), Donald Trump posted a clip of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry David is spotted wearing the infamous "Make America Great Again" hat, to which he proudly captioned, "TOUGH GUYS FOR TRUMP!" Unfortunately, 45 might have taken the clip out of context which led to the President getting flamed on his favorite social media platform.

During the scene, an inattentive Larry David lazily switches lanes in his BMW i3 accidentally cutting off a biker who hurls a myriad of curses and insults in David's direction. Out of nervousness, the Seinfeld creator scrambled to put on his MAGA hat which neutralizes the conflict causing the biker to calmly state, "Just be more careful next time." Later in the episode, Larry David continues to use the hat as a 'people repellent,' providing the context that Trump supporters are not worth approaching.

With Donald J. Trump being unaware that Larry David and Curb Your Enthusiasm wasn't paying him a compliment with the scene he posted. The masses roasted the leader of the free world with a barrage of Tweets attempting to help him understand he was only dissing himself. Check out some of the Tweets below:

One Tweet, in particular, that has gone viral since Trump's Curb flub. An interview clip of Larry David being asked if he felt like he was alienating Trump supporters on the latest season of his HBO blockbuster show, to which nonchalantly replied:

"Alienate yourselves! Go and alienate! You have my blessing. No, I could give a f*ck."

Obviously, the screenwriting genius isn't a fan of the Trump administration and by now, Donald Trump should be well aware of that.
