Future's fans are itching for his 2016 mixtape, Purple Reign, to see the light of day on streaming services, after the rapper finally made two prior projects, Beast Mode and 56 Nights, available for streaming this past week. As far as extensive discographies go, Future is definitely up there. The rapper boasts a catalogue of sixteen solo mixtapes, two EPs, five collaborative projects, and seven studio albums in total over the course of ten years. His impressive solo mixtape run from 2010-2016 produced some of his most critically acclaimed work, including 2015's Beast Mode and 56 Nights, both of which he recently released on streaming services. Now, fans want to see the project that concluded his mixtape era up on streaming platforms: Purple Reign.
The DJ Esco and Metro Boomin-produced project is regarded by many of his most die-hard supporters as one of his most underrated bodies of work. Many members of the Future Hive thus took to Twitter to express their desire for their favourite artist to put Purple Reign on all streaming platforms ASAP.
Migos Playfully Tease "Culture 3" As Anticipation Continues To Build
Migos are gearing up for a huge release.
At the beginning of 2017, Migos hit us with what would eventually become their magnum opus, Culture. The album was an instant classic in the trap music genre as they took their signature sound and made it more melodic. Songs like “T-Shirt,” “Bad and Boujee,” and “What The Price” became huge singles that dominated hip-hop radio and playlists for the entire year. The following year, Culture 2 came out as the sequel to their big project. While this album didn’t get the same critical acclaim, it was still jam-packed with big records.
For the last two years, fans have been begging for a third installment and it looks like their prayers will be answered in the not-so-distant future. Last night, Offset took to Instagram with a photo of himself next to Takeoff and Quavo. “CULTURE 3 2020 LAST CHAPTER,” he wrote in the caption. Essentially, you can expect the album to drop this year.
What’s also interesting about this post is the admission that this is, in fact, the last Culture album. The series has been incredibly popular for Migos so far and this next installment will surely be yet another example of their growth in the music industry. The group has been hard at work to get this project out to the masses and we can’t wait to see what they come up with.
Let us know in the comments below what you’re hoping to get in this next installment of the Culture series.
Lil Uzi Vert Makes Bold Claim About His New Album, "Eternal Atake"
We just want the album now.
Lil Uzi Vert has been teasing Eternal Atake for over two years now yet here we are in 2020 with no album in sight. Uzi has given us some singles here and there but nothing to make us think the album is truly on the way. In August, it will be three years since the release of his last project, Luv Is Rage 2. At this point, fans are getting restless and all they want is a sign that it could be on the way, sooner than later.
Recently, Uzi took to his Twitter where he made some bold proclamations about the new album. One of those proclamations was that Eternal Atake is his "best body of work" so far. This is a bold proclamation when you realize how many dope mixtapes Uzi has in his discography.
Fans were quick to reply to Uzi and asked if it was better than Luv Is Rage 1. As Uzi explains, it slaps way harder than the aforementioned project. This is great news for Uzi fans who are hoping to be blown away by this new album. When you consider how long he's been working on it, you would hope it's good.
Stay tuned for updates on Eternal Atake as we will be sure to bring them to you.
