The celebrities have done it again. Following the dumpster fire that was the "Imagine" video, which saw a handful of celebrities singing John Lennon's famous tune in an attempt to "inspire" those suffering through the pandemic back in March, a similar effort has been made to squash racism. On Thursday (June 11th), a fairly random myriade of white celebrities including Aaron Paul, Sarah Paulson, Ke$ha, Bethanny Joy Lenz, Kristen Bell, Justin Theroux, Debra Messing, Mark Duplass, Bryce Dallas Howard, Julianne Moore, Piper Perabo, Stanley Tucci, and Ilana Glazer, participated in a PSA about anti-racism. In their melodramatic message, which was done in partnership with the NAACP, each star took responsibility for allowing racism to persist through microaggressions and vowed to put a stop to "hate" and police brutality.
While the intentions were good, many of the participants in the video, most of them actors, got dragged relentlessly for appearing to be putting on a performance, especially Aaron Paul. Many pointed out that, at the end of the video, Aaron concludes the message of the PSA with an intensity not unlike his character, Jesse Pinkman, in Breaking Bad.
However, Aaron wasn't the only one mocked for the "cringey" video.

The Knowles-Carters may be international superstars, but they’re always standing on the side of justice when it comes to issues that pertain to marginalized communities. “We need justice for George Floyd,” Beyoncé said in the video. “We all witnessed his murder in broad daylight. We’re broken and we’re disgusted. We cannot normalize this pain. I’m not only speaking to people of color. If you’re white, black, brown, or anything in between, I’m sure you feel hopeless by the racism going on in America right now. No more senseless killings of human beings. No more seeing people of color as less than human. We can no longer look away. George is all of our family in humanity. He’s our family because he’s a fellow American. There have been too many times that we’ve seen these violent killings with no consequences. Yes, someone’s been charged, but justice is far from being achieved. Please sign the petition. Continue to pray for peace, compassion, and healing for our country.”
She advised viewers to click the link in her bio that takes them to her website where they can support the #WeCantBreathe movement by signing the petitions of Color of Change, Change.org, We Can’t Breath National, or the NAACP. Watch her video below.

Blue Ivy Carter is making sure that everyone knows just how important it is to wash their hands in order to get rid of germs, especially during a global pandemic. Beyoncé and Jay-Z's eldest offspring took it upon herself to show the world what can happen if you don't wash your hands properly, using an effective visual aid to really get the point across. Blue's grandmother, Tina Knowles, posted her 8-year-old granddaughter's science experiment on Instagram, in which Blue uses a bowl of water and pepper to represent of the COVID-19 virus microbes.
View this post on Instagram"My brilliant granddaughter Blue did this experiment to show how washing your hands fights the virus," Tina wrote on the post. Blue begins the sanitation demonstration by greeting her viewers, explaining exactly what she'll be doing today. "Hey y'all," Blue says, as the camera captures an overhead shot of a bowl of water and pepper. "While we're stuck at home, I have this little DIY experiment that you can do at home too. This is why it's important to wash your hands." She proceeds to dip her finger into a ramekin full of "a mixture of a lot of different types of soap." Stephen A. Smith Goes Off On Those Not Practicing "Social Distancing"
Stephen A. Smith had some words for those who won't listen to the medical professionals out there.
"Social Distancing" has become the new thing everyone is talking about and rightfully so. We are currently going through a horrible pandemic and we are all being told to isolate ourselves as a means to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus. When we do have to leave the house, we must remain at least two meters apart from everyone as a means to make sure we don't come in contact with germs and potentially, the virus.
Stephen A. Smith and numerous ESPN reporters came through with a PSA the other day about staying home and helping to flatten the curve. Now, Smith is giving a PSA all on his own where he angrily ripped those who are still leaving their houses despite being told to do otherwise. You can tell Smith is passionate about this and doesn't seem impressed that after all this time, he still has to give such lofty warnings.
Cases in the United States continue to rise and by the middle of April, we could see close to one million people in the country infected. With this in mind, it is important that everyone act now so we can get back to normal life, sooner rather than later.
Hopefully, Smith's words don't fall on deaf ears.
Stephen A. Smith & ESPN Share Important Coronavirus PSA
Stephen A. Smith and various other ESPN personalities are sharing an important message about the Coronavirus.
Stephen A. Smith is one of ESPN's most celebrated personalities and on Monday, he and a whole plethora of other ESPN reporters took to Twitter which a quick 30-second video in which they educate the public on the dangers of Coronavirus and how we all must band together in this time of need.
As you can see from the video below, the personalities talk about how just because sports are on pause, doesn't mean we can't all be one team united against the virus that has been ravaging its way around the world. The anchors and reporters urge people to continue social distancing measures and that if we all stay the course, we can beat this thing sooner rather than later.
Stephen A.'s show First Take has continued to air throughout the sports hiatus and to be honest, it has provided a nice sense of normalcy to the world. Despite everything that is going on, we can still count on Smith and Max Kellerman to provide us with entertaining debates and hilarious moments. Their presence on TV has been wonderful over the last two weeks and this latest PSA is yet another reminder that everything is going to be okay.
Hopefully, everyone adheres to the rules and we avoid an even greater catastrophe.
"Before You Catch The Virus" Viral PSA Aims To Unite The World
Motivational speaker Prince Ea’s PSA, “Before You Catch The Virus – Watch This,” has gone viral due to its important message amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Before You Catch The Virus – Watch This” is some good advice, as motivational speaker Prince EA’s PSA to the pandemic-impacted world bears a strong and powerful message. The viral video begins with Prince EA dressed in a hazmat suit removing a gas mask, before giving a spoken word, slam poetry-style speech about some kind of “virus” that’s destroying the world. Of course, our first instinct is to assume he’s talking about coronavirus, as he lists off all the ways that this “thing” that’s “spreading like wildfire” is changing the ways we live our lives. The “thing” is keeping us inside our homes, shutting down countries, and selling out toilet paper and hand sanitizer.

However, after convincing his viewers to be overwhelmingly afraid of the threat of COVID-19, Prince switches up on us. “Friends I’m not talking about coronavirus,” he says. “No, this is a virus even more deadly. The ‘F’ virus.” The “F” turns out to stand for “fear,” which Prince stresses lives through technology and the media and is controlling us. While this slightly corny message may at first seem to be leading to some kind of conspiracy theory about the “truth” about coronavirus, Prince’s message is actually about uniting the world. On a “love is more powerful than fear” type beat, Prince emphasizes the damage that senseless fear-mongering can have, and urges everyone to look at the ways that the world has been coming together (while keeping their distance) to stay positive. “We are waves from the same sea,” read a poem from Japan on supplies sent to China. Emphasizing the importance of social distancing and flattening the curve, Prince also emphasizes the equal importance of “being alert, not fearful.” Check out the video below and stay safe!

“A few years ago a bunch of us did this movie called Contagion which we’ve noticed is creeping its way back up on the charts on iTunes for obvious reasons, given what we’re all living through right now,” Damon says in his PSA spot.
“I’m here to talk to you about social distancing, something we’ve been hearing a lot about on TV, I think, the last couple weeks. In the movie, I played a guy who was immune to the hypothetical virus that was spreading around the world. And so a couple of things to start: That was a movie. This is real life. I have no reason to believe that I am immune to COVID-19.”
“Wash your hands like your life depends on it,” Winslet implores in her PSA video. “Because right now, in particular, it just might.”
Laurence Fishburne adds, “If we can slow this thing down, it will give our doctors and our nurses in our hospitals a fighting chance to help us all get through this thing together.”
Contagion released in 2011 but has seen a sharp spike in popularity as the plot resembles the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

Kylie Jenner Wishes Everyone A "Happy Self-Quarantine" With COVID-19 Advice
After the surgeon general encourages influencers to spread awareness, Kylie Jenner reminds everyone that Coronavirus is real.
Though it feels like everyone is not only aware but sick of hearing about Coronavirus. It’s a serious issue that we, as a global community, must battle together but for those of you who are still doubting the severity of the virus, Kylie Jenner is here to remind everyone just how real the pandemic is.
Jon Kopaloff/Getty ImagesHitting the ‘Gram, Kylie Jenner took the advice of the surgeon general and spread awareness surrounding Coronavirus pandemic that’s plaguing society right now. “Hey, guys. Happy self-quarantine,” she declared as if this is an annual event that we look forward to. “The coronavirus is a real thing. You might have it and not even know and be infecting other people. It’s serious and the only way that we’re gonna slow this down is if we do this because there is not a cure right now,” she said. ““We’re going to get through this together. We just have to listen to each other, respect each other, self-quarantine.”
Hopefully, everyone reading this is stocked up on toilet paper, weed, and food and practicing social distancing.
