It was an all-out R&B party on Instagram Live this evening (May 25). For Memorial Day Weekend, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland decided to hold two Verzuz battles, first kicking things off with Beenie Man and Bounty Killer, and later with 112 and Jagged Edge. The latter saw the Bad Boy and So So Def quartets facing off with some of their favorite hits, and hundreds of thousands of people tuned in to groove to catch some "Quarantine & Chill" vibes.

Songs included favorites like "Let's Get Married (Remix)" featuring Jermaine Dupri and Loon (JE), "Peaches & Cream" (112), "All Cried Out" with Allure (112), "He Can't Love You" (JE), "Cupid" (112), "Where the Party At" featuring Nelly (JE) and many more. Stevie J, 2 Chainz, Tory Lanez, Tamar Braxton, Lena Waithe, Troy Ave, Tank, Ja Rule, The-Dream, Monica, Kyla Pratt, Snoop Dogg, Teddy Riley, Papoose, Ludacris, Questlove, Sevyn, N.O.R.E., Fabolous, Jadakiss, The Game, Bun B, Lance Gross, Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo, and so many more tuned in to celebrate R&B. While there were a few sound issues pertaining to low volumes and static here and there, it was great to see the two groups—sans Daron Jones and Q Parker from 112—complimenting each other on 20 years in the music industry.
At one point, 112 pulled in a surprise guest and it was none other than Keith Sweat himself. Viewers were begging for a Keith Sweat interlude so that everyone could hear "Twisted" just one time, but instead, 112 played Sweat's favorite song by them titled "Player." We've pulled together some clips of the event as well as some reactions, so check it all out below.

Diddy Calls Kim Porter "The One" As He Reveals Rose Garden Monument
Diddy expressed remorse for deciding to “[play] around” instead of locking down the love of his life, Kim Porter, before she passed away.
It came as a shock to the world when news circulated that Kim Porter had passed away. The mother of four reportedly died in her sleep in November 2018 from a lung infection brought on by pneumonia. This was, of course, devastating news to her family and loved ones, and since that time, Diddy has given the public a glimpse into how his blended family, the Combs Cartel, have been progressing in the years that followed.

Recently, Diddy joined Fat Joe for a chat on Instagram Live, and during the conversation, Diddy mentioned that he has a statue dedicated to Kim in his garden. As he prepared to show the monument, he gave a bit of advice to viewers. “This is a special announcement, a PSA to all the players, all the playboys. When you find that one, don’t be playing around with it,” Diddy said. “It’s rare, somebody that’s going to understand you and be there for you unconditionally. Sometimes you can be in the game getting hot and you could just want to experience everything. I definitely feel like, as a man, I f*cked up on that.”
Diddy went on to say that he felt as if Kim Porter was “the one” for him, but instead, he decided to “[play] around.” He added that now, God is in charge, and the experience has forced Diddy to step up as a man and make some necessary changes in his life. The media mogul went on to give viewers a look at a monument that he bought for Kim just a few years before she passed away. The large, metal statue was constructed by using Kim’s measurements and sits in the family’s rose garden. Diddy says he likes to visit there often to talk to Kim. 50 Cent's been trolling for years, all day and every day.
He wouldn't be much of a troll if he didn't leave a trail of offended. Mindful of that, Fif has decided to apologize for his evil ways.
Only his apology isn't like most apologies.

Tory Lanez Flirts With Lizzo As She Twerks On "Quarantine Radio"
Tory Lanez got Lizzo to twerk on his Instagram Live after she was shut down by Diddy.
She may have been shut down by Diddy, but Tory Lanez had no problem letting Lizzo shake it fast on his Instagram Live. During these last few weeks, as much of the world has been cautioned to stay inside due to COVID-19, Tory Lanez has been entertaining hundreds of thousands of viewers on Quarantine Radio. The singer-producer's official-unofficial Instagram series has featured a number of artists, but the main attractions have been his twerking contests.
On Easter Sunday, Diddy grabbed his kids and hopped on Live for a few hours. He spoke to artists, held a dance party, and overall just wanted to spread a little love during the quarantine. At one point, Lizzo joined Diddy and the Combs Cartel on Live and was just about to get into her twerk groove when Diddy shut things down. Later, Draya Michele joined the Live and was allowed to shake it, leaving viewers to accuse Diddy of being "fatphobic." The music mogul later issued a statement saying the song Lizzo was dancing to had too many curse words in it and that's why he turned it off.
Tory Lanez popped up again for Quarantine Radio and let Lizzo back that thing up. "There's no discrimination at Quarantine Radio," Tory said. "We like 'em big, we like 'em small. Let's go baby girl!" Check out these two below, including Tory's face when Lizzo revealed she wasn't wearing any underwear.

“We can’t just sit back and leave our healthcare workers abandoned and unprotected," he says in the caption. "Over the next few days, I’ll be locked in and focused on finding ways to directly support our healthcare workers but I don’t have all the answers. If you want to help or have any great ideas, please reach out to me now! God bless us all.”
In the video, Diddy goes into detail on how we can make it through this pandemic.
“Let’s get people involved. Let’s figure out a way to get people involved because people want to do something. There’s no way you could have power and not want to do something with it. I don’t know what superhero story they were watching, but the true superheroes they did it for the good though.

Jermaine Dupri Reflects On "Tone Def" Singers At "Making The Band" Audition
Jermaine Dupri was one of many famous guests ho stopped by to help Diddy pick and choose his next set of "Making the Band" talent.
Making the Band is underway and over the weekend, Diddy and the Combs Cartel launched the first set of auditions. The reboot of the music mogul's famed MTV series has garnered responses from thousands of aspiring artists hoping for their big break. While in the ATL, there were a few guest judges were there to help rate the singers including Monica, Dallas Austin, Jermaine Dupri, Pierre Thomas, Coach K, Quavo, and Brian Michael Cox.
It's safe to say that since those original Making the Band days, music culture has shifted. There has been a rise in independent artists experimenting with new sounds and paving their own successful career with the use of the internet alone, but with all of the evolution comes a few drawbacks. Jermaine Dupri took to his Twitter to reflect on the Making the Band auditions and shared some thoughts.
"One of the things that I notice and learned going to the #makingoftheband try outs, is that kids are using auto tune so much, the understanding of being tone def is gone and people be singing in all kinda keys," the So So Def founder wrote. "Lol this is really a epidemic." Diddy made it clear that he's looking for R&B singers who are going to bring down the house, so hopefully there were a few that made Jermaine's cut. Do you agree with him?
