Tucker Carlson is currently facing a storm of online backlash stemming from comments he recently made about the Black Lives Matter movement and recent protests. During his primetime Fox News segment last night, Carlson questioned the intentions of protests against policebrutality and George Floyd’s death, declaring “This may be about a lot of things… but it is definitely not about black lives.” He also warned his audience to “Remember that when they come for you," adding "at this rate, they will.”
While some conservative commentators applauded Carlson, many others harshly condemned him, causing #tuckercarlsonisaracist to trend on twitter as users pleaded advertisers to stop sponsoring his segment. The public has been most up in arms about Carlson’s “when they come for you” warning, believing that Carlson was referring to black people specifically when referencing “they.”
Although some seem to be shocked by Carlson’s words, other twitter users say they are less surprised and that they have always known the host to be a racist.
Meanwhile, Carlson and his supporters insist that the words causing outrage were taken out of context by those looking to cause controversy. A Fox News spokesman told the Washington Post: “Tucker’s warning about ‘when they come for you’ was clearly referring to Democratic leaders and inner city politicians,” while Carlson defended himself saying “You’re not allowed to question Black Lives Matter in any way. Full stop…That rule has been enforced without mercy everywhere.”

Blac Chyna Accuses Kardashians Of Racism, Family Responds Through Lawyer
Blac Chyna alleges that the Kardashian family conspired to get her reality show with Rob Kardashian, “Rob & Chyna,” canceled.
She was one *thisclose* to becoming a member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, but after Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian broke off their brief engagement, things turned sour. Blac Chyna has been in and out of court as she’s battled Rob Kardashian regarding custody of their daughter Dream as well as child support payments. Now, Chyna has updated a lawsuit she has against NBCUniversal and the Kardashian family with accusations that they have a racist agenda.

In the Fall of 2016, Rob & Chyna aired on E!. The show only lasted for one season, and the following year, Blac Chyna filed a lawsuit against the Kardashian Krew, accusing them of sneaking behind her back to NBC in order to have the show canceled. Now, Chyna adds to the long-standing lawsuit that the famous family wanted her out because of racism. She alleges that Kris Jenner went to NBC with a story that Chyna physically assaulted Rob, and executives told her that “the situation would’ve been handled differently if BC was white.”
Marty Singer, lawyer to the Kardashian-Jenner’s, told TMZ that this latest accusation is just one of many defense tactics that Blac Chyna has used over the years. “This is a 2 year old lawsuit in which Chyna has changed her defense more times than we can count. Sadly, unsurprising to anyone, she has stooped to a new low, changing her defense to try to leverage the emotions and pain of the moment, insulting the pain and suffering of real victims of racial injustice and systemic racism.” He added, “We take these allegations very seriously and once again, there is no Rob & Chyna show if there is no Rob & Chyna.”
Meanwhile, TMZ reports that their sources have told them the reason Rob & Chyna got the ax was due to the fact that the couple had broken up and Chyna filed a restraining order against Rob, making it impossible to film them together.
Doja Cat Responds To Anti-Black Racism Accusations
Doja Cat apologizes for a series of videos that allegedly showed her in racist chatrooms.
Doja Cat is on the heels of her first-ever #1 single with “Say So” but it apparently did not take long for her to get brutally canceled by the internet after a series of old videos resurfaced online.
The first rule for any artist after they make it big should be to erase your entire social presence from the years prior. Anything can come back to bite you in the ass. Some of it is warranted and, other times, it’s a reach. Fans were appalled when they found multiple videos of Doja Cat on a video chatroom, allegedly speaking with racist alt-right white men and contributing to the rampant hared in the world.
A familiar hashtag, #DojaCatIsOverParty, trended promptly after the topic was explored on Twitter and now, the recording artist is breaking her silence to address the accusations of anti-Black racism.
“I want to address what’s been happening on Twitter,” she wrote in a lengthy post on Instagram. “I’ve used public chat rooms to socialise since I was a child. I shouldn’t have been on some of those chat room sites, but I personally have never been involved in any racist conversations. I’m sorry to everyone I offended.
I’m a black woman. Half of my family is black from South Africa and I’m very proud of where I come from.
As for the old song that’s resurfaced, it was in no way tied to anything outside of my own personal experience,” she said about the track called “Dindu Nuffin” that popped up on the internet this week. “It was written in response to people who often used that term to hurt me. I made an attempt to flip its meaning, but recognise that it was a bad decision to use the term in my music,” she added.
“I understand my influence and impact and I’m taking this all very seriously. I love you all and I’m sorry for upsetting or hurting any of you. That’s not my character, and I’m determined to show that to everyone moving forward. Thank you.”
Do you accept Doja Cat’s apology or has she exhausted all of her nine lives?
Lana Del Rey Responds To Racism Accusations Following Open Letter Controversy
Lana Del Rey addresses accusations of racism after she wrote an open letter about women in the music industry.
No one expected for the Cancel Culture to come for Lana Del Rey, but after she penned a lengthy open letter, things took a turn on Thursday (May 21). In the note, Lana Del Rey writes that throughout her career, she’s been criticized for her lyrical content. She pens songs about staying in relationships that aren’t healthy or other matters that critics claim are glorifying abuse because, according to the singer, they come from a woman writing about her truth. In turn, in Lana’s recent controversial letter, she stated that because other female artists like Beyoncé, Megan Thee Stallion, Doja Cat, Cardi B, Kehlani, Ariana Grande, and Camila Cabello have been allowed to own their truths and top the charts by singing about whatever they want, it’s time for people to stop shaming her for doing the same thing.

Immediately, people began to comment that Lana Del Rey was shading all of the women she listed in her letter, and because they’re all women of color, the singer was labeled as a racist. While it seemed as if she was looking to speak about allowing women to express themselves however they like, Cancel Culture went wild and blasted Lana Del Rey throughout all social media platforms for being shady.
The Shade Room shared a screenshot of a comment Lana reportedly left on Instagram about the controversy. “Bro. This is sad to make it about a WOC issue when I’m talking about my favorite singers. I could’ve literally said anyone but I picked my favorite f*cking people,” she wrote. “And this is the problem with society today, not everything is about whatever you want it to be. It’s exactly the point of my post – there are certain women that culture doesn’t want to have a voice it may not have to do with race I don’t know what it has to do with. I don’t’ care anymore but don’t ever ever ever ever bro- call me racist because that is bullsh*t.” Check it out below.
Bhad Bhabie Quits Social Media After Being Labelled A Racist: "Y’all Won"
Bhad Bhabie is sick of reading the comments.
People have been going against Bhad Bhabie for her entire career. The 16-year-old social-media-star-turned-rapper has faced countless accusations of racism, cultural appropriation, and more. She claims that she’s just being herself but, for some reason, people aren’t quite buying that. How could the teenage girl raised in Boynton Beach, Florida speak with such an accent? Why does she wear her hair in braids? Why is she trying to be a rapper? Everything she does is critiqued to the highest degree and she’s finally had enough of the public scrutiny. Although social media made her into the celebrity she is today, she’s officially logging off for a little while, explaining why in a lengthy text post.

“Due to my mental health I will b taking a small break from this app I hate to say it but y’all won,” wrote Bhad Bhabie, quoting Offset’s famous declaration after he faced cheating allegations over a year ago. “Congrats mission complete! y’all made the lil 16 year old completely loose it! Social media has not only made me but also is every reason I can’t sleep at night. Imagine being called a racist white c*nt every second of they day… I show off a tattoo they say I’m tryna b black… I defend my self then boom I’m labelled as a racist. There’s no winning as a celebrity on this app everything I do will b considered wrong.”
Bhad Bhabie noted that, while she will not be logging on for a few days, she will disable all comments on her page when she returns. Will you miss her on social media?
