In just under three hours, Tekashi 6ix9ine will be making his grand re-introduction to the world. For the last two years, he has been known as a snitch, exposing the inner workings of the Nine Trey Bloods gang that he was once a part of. He was released from prison early due to COVID-19 concerns and, today, he will be returning to the music world with a new single, music video, and Instagram Live session. It all kicks off at 3 PM EST.
Before that begins, one of his most outspoken critics, Meek Mill, has just addressed the situation, taking to Twitter and calling out the rainbow-haired rapper.

"I hope that rat going live to apologize to the people he told on or the victim," writes Meek Mill, refusing to refer to 6ix9ine by name. "Y’all forgot that fast a 'rat' killed nipsey he wasn’t suppose to be on the streets! That’s the only thing ima day because he’s dead... left his baby mom and child like a coward as targets!"
Clearly, Meek is still not rocking with Tekashi. Bringing Eric Holder, Nipsey Hussle's alleged killer and an accused snitch, into it was necessary in the eyes of the Philadelphia rapper.
Will you be supporting 6ix9ine's new release or are you avoiding it by all means?
NLE Choppa Thinks YNW Melly Should Be Free Instead Of 6ix9ine
NLE Choppa takes issue with YNW Melly's request for early prison release getting denied, while "the rat", Tekashi 6ix9ine, gets to roam free.
NLE Choppa has decided to chime in on the coronavirus prison release discourse in regards to famous rappers: if you're going to free Tekashi 6ix9ine, you've got to free YNW Melly as well. The spread of coronavirus has led many prison inmates to request early release or alternate accommodations to lower their chances of contraction, including many incarcerated celebrities. Bill Cosby and R. Kelly are among some of the scorned stars that have been denied early release, along with Florida rapper, YNW Melly.

As he awaits his double murder trial for allegedly killing two of his friends, Melly has been kept behind bars, where it was reported he recently tested positive for coronavirus. He requested to be released due to these unforeseen circumstances, but was told to stay put. His condition has reportedly not improved much at all, as he has only been "treated" with Tylenol and Gatorade. He even reached out to his past collaborator, Kanye West, for help Twitter, but so far has received no response. It looks like NLE Choppa caught wind of this whole situation, and expressed just how he feels about YNW Melly remaining in prison while another rapper, Tekashi 6ix9ine, was granted early release.
"They need to free Melly trifling ass shit," Choppa tweeted on Friday. "But y’all gone free the rat." The "rat," of course, refers to 6ix9ine, due to all the snitching he did on members of the Nine Trey Bloods in court. 6ix9ine was recently transferred to house arrest due to coronavirus concerns after spending time in prison on racketeering charges, a move that caused a major uproar in the hip hop scene.

Ja Rule Aims For 50 Cent With "Curtis Ratson" Meme
Ja Rule eggs on his beef with 50 Cent by sharing a meme of the rap mogul illustrated as a rat.
It's safe to say that there won't be an Instagram Live Battle between Ja Rule and 50 Cent. The longstanding feud between the two rappers has been well-documented on social media, in songs, and in interviews. The chart-topping artists just can't seem to get on the same page, and after Ja expressed interest in participating in Timbaland and Swizz Beatz's Verzuz Battles on IG, fans were excited to see these toe got head-to-head. Swizz seemed uncertain because he's aware that the two rappers don't get along on and off wax, but Ja said he was willing to give the culture what they wanted.
However, 50 Cent didn't accept the challenge with open arms. Instead, Fif set off a string of memes and Ja Rule returned with accusations that 50 Cent was "scared to compete" against him. Ja also took to Twitter to say that he "musically influenced" Fif and on Thursday (April 16), he hit his opponent with another insult, suggesting once again that Fif was a snitch.
"Oh you wanna make memes...?Curtis Ratson!!!" Ja wrote in a caption of a photo of 50 Cent illustrated as a rat. "Bored in the house and I’m in the house bored... ? this post will self destruct... ??? #PettyMurphy #peopleschamp #Iconn #NyStars." We can only imagine how Fif is going to respond to this one. If they would put this energy into a battle, they may just break Instagram Live records. Check out Ja Rule's post below.
6ix9ine Trolls Himself With New Instagram Photo & Bio
Tekashi 6ix9ine moves closer to his inevitable comeback by poking fun at himself for being a federal snitch.
Tekashi 6ix9ine made his fortune by trolling the entire rap music industry on social media… is anybody surprised that he’s doing the exact same thing while he plots his comeback?
The Brooklyn-born rapper is a highly controversial figure in pop culture, known nationally a federal informant. For the last twelve months, the rainbow-haired star has been clowned in all directions and, now, he’s forcing his narrative in his own hands and shifting it.
If you know they’re going to laugh at you, why don’t you laugh at yourself first? Right? That’s the approach Tekashi 6ix9ine seems to be going for as he re-establishes himself as a character worthy of our time and attention.
The rapper re-emerged on Instagram last night, editing his avatar and bio to poke fun at himself.
For his photo, 6ix9ine decided on an animated sketch of himself in a prison jumpsuit, eating cheese and laying on a rat trap.
For his bio, the star chose the following: “Why everybody callin me a snitch? I’m missin something…?”
The strategy appears to be working out in 69’s favor as many of his critics are sharing a laugh with him about this.
Like I said — if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em! Will it end up working for Tekashi 6ix9ine or will he always be a rat in your eyes?
