Roddy Ricch already won 2020. Following the release of his debut album, Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, "The Box" soared to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for weeks on weeks. Then, just last week, he earned his second number-one single with DaBaby's "Rockstar." However, it looks like he's striving towards having a third number-one single by the time the summer ends.

Now, we all know that Roddy Ricch and Mustard have a great rapport together on wax. They've linked up on the 2019 anthem, "Ballin" and most recently, on "High Fashion." Roddy hit Twitter earlier today where he called on Mustard for summer vibes. "It's summer @mustard, u ready?" He tweeted. As excitement built up in the reply section, Mustard swooped in, writing, "What summer have we not been ready?" Touché.
Perhaps we can expect the two to release the new single in the coming weeks, Roddy Ricch did recently hit at dropping the music video for "High Fashion" last month.
It has undoubtedly been a massive year for Roddy Ricch already. Along with his chart accomplishments, he also won his first Grammy this year for his contributions to Nipsey Hussle's single, "Racks In The Middle" alongside Hit-Boy.

DaBaby & Roddy Ricch’s "Rockstar" Top Billboard Hot 100
Congrats to DaBaby & Roddy Ricch!
Roddy Ricch and DaBaby have been proven to be this generation's most trusted hitmakers, at least in the past few months. Well, for DaBaby, it's been the past year yet he's never earned a chart-topper. Today, Billboard reports that his new collaboration with Roddy Ricch, the fan-favorite "ROCKSTAR," is now the new number one song in the country. The song is off of Baby's latest project, Blame It On Baby and has gained a significant amount of traction in the past few weeks.
For Baby, it's his first number-one single but Roddy Ricch clocks in his second number-one single this year. "The Box" is having an insane run on the charts, as it held the top spot for several weeks, similar to Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road." Roddy still claims two spots in the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 as "The Box" holds it down at number 9.
Another major move on the charts in SAINt JHN's "Roses" which has been picking up steam over the past few months, thanks to TikTok. Now, the song is rose to number 10 on the Hot 100 following the release of the remix featuring Future. Perhaps SAINt JHN is also on his way to clocking the first number-one single of his career.

Roddy Ricch’s "The Box" Goes Sextuple Platinum
Roddy Ricch’s “The Box” continues to prove an unyielding source of platinum plaques for the young Compton rapper.
It’s hard to imagine a time where Roddy Ricch was only beginning to buzz, building a name for himself on his Feed Tha Streets mixtapes. All of that changed with the release of his proper studio debut Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial, which released in December of 2019 to instant acclaim. And while the Compton rapper explored a variety of different sounds on the sixteen-track endeavor, one of the clear highlights arose with “The Box,” produced by 30 Roc, Datboisqueeze, and Zentachi.

By now you’re likely aware that the single went on to captivate the masses in a major way, quickly climbing the charts and scoring Roddy his first number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100. Not to mention the heavy TikTok usage it went on to gain, its infectious refrain of “EEE ERR” proving wholly relatable to all walks of life. Even to this day it endures, having officially sold six million album-equivalent units since its release last December.
As of now, Roddy’s “The Box” has gone sextuple platinum, making it stand tall as the year’s biggest track so far. Aside from providing the young CPT rapper with another plaque for his walls, it proves that people have yet to tire of “The Box,” which bodes well for his longevity. Congratulations to Roddy Ricch, and may he continue to make hits that prove equally fruitful.
DaBaby’s Highest-Charting Song Is No Longer "Suge"
DaBaby gets an assist from Roddy Ricch as "ROCKSTAR" becomes his highest-charting single to date.
DaBaby's new album Blame It On Baby may not have been a hit with the fans but one song from it has officially become the rapper's highest-charting single ever.
Until the new tally was announced this morning, DaBaby's biggest song ever was "Suge." Despite it being the track that broke Baby into superstardom, it only reached #7 as its peak on the Billboard Hot 100.
For the last few weeks, "ROCKSTAR" with Roddy Ricch has been rising the ranks and today, it officially peaked at #4, making it DaBaby's highest-charting single to date.
This week's Billboard Hot 100 is looking much different from last week's seeing both top contenders -- Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande's "Stuck With U" and Tekashi 6ix9ine's "GOOBA" -- being bounced out of the Top 10. Their plummets made way for DaBaby and Roddy Ricch to hit a new high, joining Ricch's other single "The Box" for the Compton rapper's second appearance in the Top 10.
Congratulations are in order for DaBaby. Already, the star has announced that he will not slow down on album releases, preparing his next drop before the end of the year.
What do you think of "ROCKSTAR?" Is it one of the best songs that DaBaby has released or can he do better?

Gunna officially introduces the world to his alter-ego on his new album "WUNNA."
Prior to the world turning to shit, YSL Records rapper Gunna released his new single "SKYBOX," hinting that a complete body of work would be on the way soon. Unfortunately, his timing just didn't pay off as, several days after, a mysterious virus started taking over the world and causing us all to put our plans on pause. Gunna's own plans to release his new album were placed on the backburner as safety and health became a primary concern.
After months of teasing the album, it has finally been released and it's every bit worth the wait.
With eighteen new songs, Gunna is introducing us to his alter-ego Wunna, dropping bits of knowledge on us along the way. The project includes features from some of the leading characters in the rap world, including Travis Scott, Young Thug, Roddy Ricch, Lil Baby, and more.
Early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive for the new album and, after some fans were disappointed with his last full-length effort, this can be seen as a redeeming point for Gunna in his young career.

Roddy Ricch Had $250K Championship Rings Custom-Made To Celebrate Grammy
It looks like Roddy Ricch and his crew will be receiving their custom-made, Grammy-themed championship rings in the mail soon after the rapper received the trophy itself.
Talk about perfect timing. Roddy Ricch just received his Grammy in the mail after nabbing Best Rap Performance at this year’s ceremony, and it looks like his celebratory ice will be arriving shortly after. On Tuesday (May 19th), Roddy showed off his gold gramophone on his IG story, almost four months after he, Hit-Boy, and the late Nipsey Hussle won for their song “Racks in the Middle” earlier this year. According to TMZ, Roddy should be expecting some more shiny new goods in the mail soon, as the championship rings he had custom-made by celebrity jeweller, Elliot Eliantte, are nearly finished.
Shortly after he copped his first Grammy, Roddy commissioned Elliot to design seven championship rings for himself and some of his crew, and the jeweller has been hard at work on them ever since. TMZ reports that the rings are worth a whopping $250,000. Each piece is completely iced out with diamonds, and has a mini gold gramophone as its center stone.

Although one of his victorious collaborators is unfortunately no longer with us, Roddy made sure to thank Nipsey in his IG story once his trophy arrived. Other winners like Cardi B also received their Grammys in the mail this week, although the Invasion of Privacy rapper actually won the year before Roddy in 2019.
Cardi B Claps Back At Haters After Roddy Ricch Receives Grammy
“Point ’em out, point ’em out.”
Though her Grammy win was undoubtedly a controversial one, it appears that people are still hung up on it over a year later. The rapper took home Rap Album Of The Year for Invasion Of Privacy but she only recently received it in the mail. In fact, it was a few days ago when she shared a photo of her award in the mail. She faced a serious amount of criticism from people who claimed that she was only doing it for attention.

However, Cardi quickly pointed out on Twitter in a since-deleted tweet that all of the hater have gone missing all of a sudden. “Where the people that was saying I posted my Grammy couple days ago for attention?” She wrote. “Bet ya feel stupid now.”
She elaborated further in a separate tweet. “I was unboxing things on my story and I unboxed my Grammy. Motherfuckers where real loud claiming I was unboxing it for attention, trying to get shine,” she added. “Now Roddy just got his! Mind you I was just unboxing packages that came to my house.”

Roddy Ricch got his Grammy Award for “Racks In The Middle” in the mail this week, showing love to Nipsey Hussle on the ‘gram.
Roddy Ricch owes a lot to Nipsey Hussle. Early in the rising star’s career, the Los Angeles rapper was the only person to throw him a co-sign, inviting him onto “Racks In The Middle” and contributing to the star’s massive growth. Fast forward one year and Roddy Ricch is a Grammy winner and has the longest-running #1 single of the year with “The Box.”
Nipsey Hussle saw something in Roddy Ricch that nobody else did. He recognized his star potential and supported the Compton rapper until the very end. When he passed, Ricch got a face tattoo in his honor before being announced as a Grammy winner by his side. This week, he finally received his prize in the mail and it was a bittersweet moment for him.
