SAINt JHN has been celebrating a legion of new fans after his four-year-old song "Roses" was revived on social media after a remix by an underground Kazakhstan-based producer went viral, helping him get the record to Billboard Hot 100's Top 10.
For the first time in his career, SAINt JHN has gotten a single in the Top 10 of the chart as a lead artist. The Brooklyn artist has written songs for Rihanna, Usher, Jidenna, Beyoncé, and more but, as a solo artist, he has not seen the same success as the musicians he's helped out with his pen game. Now, he surprisingly can celebrate a new achievement with a song he had likely never expected to take off like this.

Fresh off the official remix with Future, SAINt JHN is cradling his head in his hands after "Roses" marked #10 on this week's edition of the Billboard Hot 100.
The track's popularity has been bolstered through a remix by Imanbek, who released the remix after attempting to reach JHN on Instagram. He did not receive a reply and, shortly after the song's release, it blew up on Tik Tok.
"Wow," wrote SAINt JHN on Twitter, reacting to his feat.
This week's chart also saw DaBaby earn his first-ever #1 record with "ROCKSTAR," marking Roddy Ricch's second time at the top after "The Box's" early success.

“I was gonna shoot a video for the remix to Roses that me and Future just did, we were literally gonna shoot it in the next 2 days. I just got off the phone with La Reid, I asked him to bump the budget from 60k to 100k, then I asked him to give me the video budget and don’t ask what I’m gonna do with it. He agreed. That’s legendary shit. We should never be afraid to do the right thing,” he explained. “I’m donating 125k across bail funds and black-owned businesses affected right now. #BlackLivesMatter Periodt.”
The announcement was made a few days before Black Out Tuesday. He captioned the photo, “I don’t got no speeches. I ain’t a speech n***a. People are hurt and I feel them, period,” he wrote along with tagging Biggs Burke and LA Reid. “#BlackLivesMatter we need better leadership.”

Drake, DaBaby, & Tory Lanez Highlight This Week’s "Fire Emoji" Playlist
Drake, DaBaby, and Tory Lanez all came through with hot new singles this week to add to our specially-curated “Fire Emoji” playlist.
Some of the most highly anticipated singles dropped this past week, including joints from Drake, DaBaby, and Tory Lanez, all of which can be found on our updated “Fire Emoji” playlist. Our specially-curated collection of the hottest hip hop tracks out right now is looking well-nurtured, after a week of both solo and collaborative singles from some of our favourite artists. Leading the way is Drake’s dance-craze anthem, “Toosie Slide,” which the rapper finally dropped on Friday. The song has been accused of serving purely as TikTok bait, its sole purpose to incite users on the app to come up with viral dance challenges, thus making the song itself go viral. However, it’s catchy as hell, and its Hokey-Pokey-meets-Electric-Slide vibe will honestly make you want to get up and dance.
Another highly anticipated drop was DaBaby’s latest single, “Find My Way,” which sees the often consistently-similar artist dramatically switching up his flow for once. The song had practically already been pieced together in its entirety through DaBaby’s various shared snippets, but its official release was still an exciting moment for fans eager to hear the bold change in full. Tory Lanez also came through with a new track, “Who Needs Love,” the latest cut off his upcoming album, The New Toronto 3, dropping next Friday. With a coronavirus anthem from Young Thug, Gunna, and Turbo, as well as some new Marshmello and Lil Durk, check out all the latest additions to our “Fire Emoji” playlist and be sure to follow our other playlists on Spotify.

At eight-years-old, Blue Ivy Carter has become the youngest artist to win an award of this magnitude. Blue Ivy’s grandmother, Tina Knowles Lawson, took to her Instagram account to celebrate her granddaughter’s victory, posting a single picture of Blue captioning the photo:
“Congratulations BLUE IVY on your NAACP award last night for singing and writing on ‘Brown Skin Girl’ from the Album The Gift. The youngest artist to win a major award. Grandma is soo proud of you 8 years old!!!! You are giving all the beautiful little brown girls a voice.”
Unfortunately, the Carter klan was unable to attend the event, but that didn’t stop Beyonce from bringing home a plethora of awards. The Ivy Park Collection creator won awards for Outstanding Variety (Series or Special) for Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé, Outstanding Album for Homecoming: The Live Album, Outstanding Song – Traditional for “Spirit,” Outstanding Song – Contemporary for “Before I Let Go,” Outstanding Soundtrack/Compilation Album for The Lion King: The Gift, and Outstanding Female Artist.

SAINt JHN Announces Third Leg Of IGNORANtForever Tour In North America
SAINt JHN will be embarking on another tour of North America to promote his album, “Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs.”
SAINt JHN has been hard at work to promote his album Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs since the project dropped in September. The rocker-rapper is scheduled to perform at multiple festivals, and has already announced two whole tours in support of the highly acclaimed body of work, but he’s not stopping there. On Thursday, he announced on Instagram that he will be embarking on another round of shows for the IGNORANtForever tour, after wrapping up his last show in Auckland, New Zealand on March 7th.
Once the International leg of the IGNORANtForever tour, which will cover cities in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, is complete, the genre-bending artist will head back over to North America to kick off the tour’s third phase on March 18th in Seattle. He’ll be making stops in 14 cities around the United States before the grand finale in Boston on April 8th. A$AP Rocky, Future, Wiz Khalifa, Meek Mill & More Sign On For Rolling Loud Portugal
DaBaby, Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Young Thug, and others are all confirmed as well.
The first-ever iteration of Rolling Loud in Portugal is about to be historic. In the reign of the five-year hip-hop festival, Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif have brought Rolling Loud to Miami, Los Angeles, the Bay Area, Australia, and other world destinations over the years. It’s time to bring the brand to the beach now, potentially creating a version of Fyre Festival that’s actually worth attending.
While this isn’t being advertised as a luxury fest, Rolling Loud is worth the price of admission solely for the experience of seeing all your favorite rappers in one spot. If you haven’t been able to grab tickets to the Miami dates coming up — and even if you have… — you’ll want to check out details for the upcoming version of the festival in Portugal, for which the lineup has just been announced.
Tickets for the Portuguese version of Rolling Loud, which is happening at Praia De Rocha Beach, are officially on sale and the line-up is nuts. This is the first-ever iteration in the European country, bringing headliners Wiz Khalifa, Future, and A$AP Rocky to the main stage from July 8 to 10. Further down the card, DaBaby, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Young Thug, Playboi Carti, Meek Mill, Rae Sremmurd, Roddy Ricch, Tyga, Lil Tecca, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, NLE Choppa, and many more have also been announced.
Check out the full lineup above and let us know if you’re planning on buying a flight out to Portugal this summer.
