Following the airing of ESPN's "The Last Dance" documentary, there were reports going around that Scottie Pippen was upset with his famous teammate Michael Jordan. Pippen wasn't exactly portrayed in the best light during the documentary so it's easy to see why he would potentially be upset. After all, without Scottie, MJ doesn't win those six rings.
Well, it doesn't seem like things are too bad between the two as today, Pippen took to Twitter where he posted a throwback Thursday photo which depicts him holding up Michael Jordan after the infamous Flu Game. This took place during Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals and despite having really bad food poisoning Jordan scored 38 points and gave his Bulls a lead in the series.
If Pippen really had bad blood with MJ, he probably would have avoided posting this. With this in mind, we're glad the two are on good terms as they truly are the greatest duo in NBA history. As we mentioned, Jordan struggled to have playoff success before Pippen came along and without him, there is an argument to be made that MJ wouldn't have half as many titles.
As for the Flu Game, we're sure MJ never looked at pizza the same after that.
Scottie Pippen Is "Beyond Livid" At Michael Jordan Over "The Last Dance"
Scottie Pippen was Michael Jordan’s right-hand man but he didn’t get much respect in “The Last Dance.”
Scottie Pippen is one of the best basketball players in NBA history although his accomplishments were very much overshadowed by those of Michael Jordan. Pippen is seen as the best Robin player ever, which is certainly nothing to laugh at. He was a phenomenal partner to Michael Jordan and his accomplishments should be celebrated. Unfortunately, during the ultra-popular documentary “The Last Dance,” Pippen was slandered at every turn.
At numerous points, Pippen was made out to look like a selfish player who is always getting injured and never doing what was best for the team. In fact, it seemed like Pippen was being put down so that Jordan could look better. Now, it appears as though Pippen is very angry with his portrayal and he’s mostly mad at MJ.

According to ESPN Radio host David Kaplan, Pippen felt as though there was a very clear agenda to the documentary and that it was all about bashing him up until the very end. Of course, it’s pretty sad to see Pippen treated this way especially since Jordan’s success was contingent upon Pippen’s arrival in Chicago.
It will be interesting to see if the two end up speaking to each other about this development and whether or not it will ever be resolved. They are both legends and it would be a shame for their relationship to take a turn over a documentary.

Dennis Rodman Breaks Silence On Teammates’ Portrayal In MJ Doc
Dennis Rodman doesn’t think his teammates had the mental strength to be criticized.
There has been a massive fallout since the final episode of “The Last Dance” and many of Michael Jordan‘s Chicago Bulls teammates are upset with how they were portrayed. Perhaps the two biggest losers of the entire documentary were Horace Grant and Scottie Pippen. Grant was portrayed as some sort of snitch while Pippen was made to seem like a bad teammate, even though he helped MJ get all of his rings.
Recently, Dennis Rodman was asked about how his teammates have been feeling and he gave a pretty interesting answer. As he explains, they simply weren’t ready to be criticized in that way and that considering it’s Jordan, they should be used to it by now.
“The players were a little upset because they felt Michael was throwing them under the bus. ‘You guys wasn’t doing what I want you to do, I’m the greatest, I’m determined to win no matter what,’ Rodman told “Good Morning Britain.” “The next thing you know Michael starts to talking about the whole team… the team-mates I played with. Mentally I don’t think they were strong enough to handle that, because Phil Jackson is a laid back coach. Michael is more like, ‘I’m going to do it watch me be famous’. I didn’t care because I was already famous.”
Over the next few months, Jordan will have a lot to answer for over this doc and we’re interested to see where it all goes from here on out.

Stephen A. Smith Gives Top 5 People MJ Should Be Thankful For
Stephen A. Smith has an interesting take on who Michael Jordan should be thanking for his career.
Stephen A. Smith is easily one of the most opinionated men in all of sports media and every so often, he comes through with some opinions that leave fans scratching their heads. Most recently, he went on First Take and gave a list of five people that Michael Jordan should be thankful for. You would think that most of these people would have to do with the Chicago Bulls but as it turns out, the list is actually quite the mixed bag and can be made open for debate.
As you can see from the clip below, it starts out with Smith ranking Phil Jackson fifth, Isiah Thomas fourth, Scottie Pippen third, Magic Johnson second, and David Falk first. All of these choices were backed up by some sound reasoning although you can't help but feel like maybe Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson should be above guys like Thomas and Johnson.
It's impossible to accomplish anything all on your own and Jordan wasn't the exception to that rule. He had plenty of great partners and rivals over the years and those listed by Smith are all great options.
Fans might be particularly surprised by Falk's inclusion here but he is the man behind Jordan's Nike deal which has brought in billions of dollars over the years. Clearly, Falk is the unsung hero of Jordan's career.
Larsa Pippen Puts Scottie Pippen On Blast In New IG Post
Larsa Pippen had some strong words for Scottie Pippen after fans went off in her comments.
Larsa Pippen’s relationship issues with NBA legend Scottie Pippen have been well-documented over the last few years. There have been allegations that Larsa was unfaithful with the likes of Future, while Larsa maintains that Scottie can be blamed for a lot of the problems in their relationship. As of today, it’s a he said-she said type of situation that we probably won’t be getting much clarity on any time soon. Regardless, the public perception over the years has been that Larsa was in the wrong.
In a recent Instagram post, Larsa uploaded a selfie with the caption “Find someone who’ll put u first!! ?.” At first glance, this probably seems harmless although fans immediately took it the wrong way and started hitting her with some hefty criticism. For instance, one person commented, “That’s what Scottie did smh.”
As you can imagine, Larsa wasn’t too happy about the comments and immediately clapped back in the replies saying: “stop tripping dude u don’t know what you’re talking about. I held him down and still do. Just bc I don’t air his dirty laundry doesn’t mean it doesn’t stink I just don’t wanna do his laundry anymore.” She also told another individual that she did everything for Pippen.
Clearly, there is still a lot we don’t know about this breakup, and Larsa isn’t ready to give all of the details.
Michael Jordan’s Agent Has Harsh Words For Scottie Pippen
Michael Jordan’s agent David Falk doesn’t have very nice things to say about Scottie Pippen.
If you have been watching ESPN’s “The Last Dance,” then you know all about Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen’s relationship. Without Pippen, Michael Jordan wasn’t able to win any championships and for the longest time, Pippen was considered to be one of the greatest Robin-type players ever. Pippen and Jordan will forever be a dynamic duo that will stand the test of time as the greatest ever. Despite this, it appears as though Jordan’s agent David Dalk isn’t a fan of Scottie. In a recent interview, Falk went so far as to say that Pippen is jealous of MJ.
“Pippen has a certain level of jealousy towards Michael. He has said recently many times he thinks LeBron’s a better player,” Falk said. “Now, if you’re Scottie Pippen, and Michael Jordan made your career, completely made your career; even if you think that, keep it to yourself.”

Falk also went on to say that Pippen wasn’t a good competitor and that he lacked the desire to win like Jordan did.
“Scottie’s problem, as the documentary points out in so many different places after the episodes you’ve seen, is that he wasn’t a great competitor,” Falk explained. “There were times for silly reasons. The migraine; you think that Michael Jordan [would do that] unless he had his leg amputated? Scottie didn’t play part of that game because he had a headache.”
It’s unclear why Falk has these feelings towards Pippen although they are pretty strong assertions to make. After all, Pippen is a Hall Of Fame player that facilitated Michael Jordan’s ascent to becoming the greatest basketball player ever. That has to count for something.

Larsa Pippen Denies Alleged Cheating With Future Broke Up Marriage To Scottie Pippen
Larsa Pippen addressed fans who continued to claim that her 2018 divorce from Scottie Pippen was because of an alleged affair with rapper Future.
Basketball icon Scottie Pippen has been back in headlines after the first two episodes of The Last Dance aired on ESPN. The Chicago Bulls documentary highlights the team’s reigning years and the eventual departure of Michael Jordan. Scottie’s name has grabbed attention over his contract with the Bulls at the time, causing his ex-wife Larsa Pippen to come to his aid. However, fans were quick to jump on Larsa about her ex-husband, once again addressing rumors that her marriage ended due to her alleged extramarital affair with rapper Future.

Scottie and Larsa Pippen divorced back in 2018 after 21 years of marriage amid rumors that Larsa and Future were carrying on a sexual affair—gossip that went back as far as 2016. No one has confirmed the word on the street but in a post-and-delete move, Larsa reportedly said cheating did not play a factor in the breakup of her marriage.
“I was married to him for 20 years, I did everything for him and my family. People change and that’s what really happened,” Larsa tweeted, according to TMZ Sports. She reportedly added, “Most people can’t even imagine being in a relationship for a week so I know it’s beyond imagination… Cheating wasn’t the problem.”
Draymond Green Explains How Michael Jordan Disappointed Him
Draymond Green spoke on Michael Jordan’s handling of Scottie Pippen’s injury holdout.
By now, most basketball fans have watched the first two episodes of ESPN’s “The Last Dance” which covers Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls. One of the biggest storylines so far has been how Scottie Pippen wanted a trade from the Bulls as he was pissed off with how he was being treated by general manager Jerry Krause. In fact, Pippen waited to get surgery on his foot, just so he could have a reason to sit out well into the season.
MJ wasn’t a very big fan of this move and made his feelings known in the documentary. Recently, Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors spoke about Jordan’s comments and expressed disappointment in his leadership abilities. As Green explains, he should have been backing up his guy.
Per Green:
“And so I was kind of a little disappointed when Mike, still to this day, is like ‘Scottie was wrong.’ Like, no. You roll with your dogs, because they ride with you. … [Mike’s] making 36 million dollars, and [Pippen’s] making two [million], yet you’re saying when you mention [Michael Jordan’s] name there’s no way you can not mention Scottie Pippen’s name? And he’s just supposed to sit there? That don’t make sense. It’s very easy to say, like, ‘no, you should be good’ [when] your house is huge, you got 36 million dollars coming in, and this man got two [million]. That’s crazy.”
In the same interview, Green spoke about Kevin Durant and some of the beef he had with the superstar over his handling of last season’s free agency fiasco. Needless to say, Green has a lot to get off his chest.
Larsa Pippen Defends Scottie After Bulls Contract Revelation
Scottie Pippen's horrendous Bulls contract was a large part of last night's airing of "The Last Dance."
If you are a basketball fan, you probably watched ESPN's "The Last Dance" last night. The docuseries follows the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls on their way to their sixth championship in eight seasons. The first two episodes were extremely entertaining and perhaps one of the biggest storylines included Scottie Pippen and his insanely bad contract with the Chicago Bulls. At the time, Pippen was in the midst of a seven-year deal that made him extremely underpaid considering his contributions to the team.
Pippen's situation immediately went viral on Twitter with various fans commenting on how he got played by general manager Jerry Krause. Pippen's estranged wife Larsa saw all of the commotion and made sure to defend Scottie, posting an article that states how Pippen actually made more during his career than Michael Jordan. Of course, this is because he signed a huge deal with the Portland Trail Blazers after MJ retired.
Despite their rocky past, it's certainly nice to see Larsa defending her estranged husband from any future slander. Pippen isn't exactly all over social media like other former players so he wasn't able to defend himself last night. Although perhaps we will be hearing from him during the next episode of ESPN's The Jump.
Either way, let us know what you thought of "The Last Dance," in the comments below.
Scottie Pippen Describes Being Followed By Cameras For Bulls Doc
Scottie Pippen was front and center for ESPN’s new Michael Jordan doc, “The Last Dance.”
Scottie Pippen got to play numerous seasons with Michael Jordan and knows exactly what it was like to be in his presence. Later this month, Jordan and the rest of his Bulls teammates will be the subject of a 10-part documentary called “The Last Dance” which will be aired by ESPN. The documentary follows the 1997-1998 Bulls who were looking to complete their second three-peat in the span of eight seasons.
There was a lot of turmoil surrounding this team at the time and this doc is supposed to showcase the trials and tribulations of a team that has become just a bit too comfortable with winning all of the time. Pippen was recently on ESPN’s The Jump where he was asked by Rachel Nichols about what it was like being followed by the cameras. As he explained, it was actually an incredible experience.
“Well, I mean it was awesome Rachel,” Pippen said. “For me, it was really everything coming to a head for us. A great run through the 90s. Dennis [Rodman] had came and joined us the second half of that run. That part was really the more special part because we were the best team in basketball for a long time and no one knocked us off. So, knowing that was the end of our run and that we had to end it that way. We made it very special and we wanted to end it with a championship.”
The documentary will officially be airing on April 19th so if you’re a basketball fan in desperate need of some entertainment, we highly recommend watching this.
