"Good Sunday Afternoon From Da Corona Epicenter Of The USA-NYC," Lee writes in the caption of the announcement on Instagram. "I Dug Deep Into Da 40 Acres Vault And Pulled Out This Script From One Of My EPIC Dream (Never Got Made) Projects-JACKIE ROBINSON. You Do Not Have To Be A Baseball Fan To Enjoy. The post includes a video of Lee at his home in New York. He explains that the movie was never made and never will be made: “Denzel [Washington] said he was too old [to play Robinson]." The film would have been based on the autobiography I Never Had It Made.
“Hope you enjoy it. If you don’t, that’s alright too. It’s never getting made, but I wanted to share this script with you. Be safe! Be safe! Social distancing! Peace.”
Colin Trevorrow’s "Star Wars IX" Alleged Script Leaks, Titled "Duel Of The Fates"
What could have been.
Now that The Rise Of Skywalker has done its worldwide rounds, fans are beginning to wonder about what could have been. The latest Star Wars trilogy was divisive, experimental, and record-breaking. Rey, Finn, Poe, and Kylo Ren will be forever immortalized although we won’t see them on screen anymore. Colin Trevorrow was originally slated to direct the ninth Star Wars film, but he left due to creative differences. Now, Collider is confirming that a leaked version of that scraped script has been circulating online.
The film was originally titled Duel of the Fates, which is the name of John William’s epic Star Wars theme that premiered in The Phantom Menace. The leaked script, which is explained in Robert Meyer Burnett YouTube video and a StarWarsLeaks subreddit breakdown, highlights several big differences between The Rise of Skywalker and Duel Of Fates. There is no Emperor Palpatine, and Kylo Ren spends much of the film haunted by the ghost of Luke Skywalker. There is also a spiritual showdown of sorts between Ren and Darth Vader at the latter’s evil castle (which was seen in Rogue One). Rose also gets a much larger role in Duel Of the Fates, and it’s revealed that Kylo actually killed Rey’s parents some time after they leave her. Check out the breakdown from Robert Meyer Burnett below.
Safaree & Erica Mena’s Fight Over Yandy Is Being Mocked As Poor Scripting
They couldn't come up with something better?
Love & Hip Hop thrives on drama. If there were a couple on the show that just gets along all the time, that wouldn't really make for entertaining television, now would it? For that reason, if there isn't any cause for dispute between the partners, then it's going to have to be fabricated. People on Twitter are accusing of this being the source of Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena's spat about Yandy.
In the latest episode of Love & Hip Hop: New York, Safaree decided to invite Erica's former friend, Yandy, to their wedding because he felt their history was too important for her to not be included in this milestone moment. A fight ensued over Safaree going behind Erica's back to disrespect her wishes. According to Twitter, this fight was poorly orchestrated. While viewers may accept that the show is scripted at times, they at least expect things to appear somewhat genuine. Safaree and Erica's anger towards one another and the cause of their dispute was just too far from believable to be interesting. In the tweets below, you'll see claims that the whole Yandy plot point was merely an attempt to spice up Safaree and Erica's otherwise dry relationship. Regardless of how many extravagant parties they throw, more is left to be desired from them.
