Azealia Banks is one of the most talented female rappers of all-time. Although her legacy has been tainted, she remains one of the women who pushed forward a female inclusion in the genre when they wasn't getting any love. We were even confident enough to place her debut album, Broke With Expensive Taste, on our list of the top twenty-five hip-hop debuts of this century.
Still, despite her clear talent, the 28-year-old recording artist continues to make headlines for her alternative lifestyle instead of her art.
The latest example of this comes as part of the new issue of NOTION Magazine, where a former collaborator shares the advice he received from Banks when he considered taking up witchcraft.

You've likely heard about the rapper sacrificing chickens in her closet. Apparently, she also collects snake blood as well.
"In my beginning days of doing witchcraft, I asked her for some advice on a spell," says pop author Alex Kazemi about Azealia. "She was like, 'Why don't you just go down to the river, find a garter snake, cut it and use its blood?'"
While the extent of Azealia Banks' talent seemingly knows no borders, the extent of her madness is somewhere around that point too.
What are your thoughts on Azealia Banks?
"Tiger King"’s Doc Antle Says Britney Spears Was "A Darling" During VMAs Performance
"Tiger King" star Bhagavan “Doc” Antle reflected on the time he worked with Britney Spears for her iconic "I'm A Slave 4 U" performance at the 2001 VMAs.
"Tiger King" star Bhagavan “Doc” Antle and Britney Spears go way back, didn't you know? It was recently discovered that the professional animal trainer and stars of the wildly popular Netflix docu-series, Tiger King: Murder, Madness, and Mayhem, was actually onstage during Britney's iconic performance of her hit song, "I'm A Slave 4 U," at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards.
Although the performance is most memorable for the moment in which Britney has a Burmese python draped over her shoulders while she struts around on stage, there was also a live tiger involved, which was handled by Doc himself. The performance begins with a young Brit locked in a cage with the tiger before she breaks out onto the stage, and Doc can be seen in the background controlling the wild animal for the most of the performance.
“She was such a darling, totally just a fanatic person wanting a perfect performance,” Doc said about the then-19-year-old Britney. “We were there for several days rehearsing so that the tigers would be relaxed and happy to be out there and that everything could be smooth and taken care of as best as possible. She was there rehearsing and working—just the hardest working, sweetest young girl, out there making all the pieces click together.”

“I have total confidence in that tiger. I knew him since he was a baby,” he continued. “He’s about seven years old right there [and at the] peak of his game. A super macho, aggressive male tiger. That’s the tiger that you go somewhere like that with because he cares less about the fireworks, the gas explosions, the banging music. He’s totally concerned with just holding his own and being cool.”

The Institute for Greatly Endangered and Rare Species (T.I.G.E.R.S.) founder and Myrtle Beach Safari owner says Britney's always welcome to visit the park, but he realizes that she may not be too keen on it right in the midst of all the drama surrounding the series. “Brit knows who we are and where we are,” he said. “Right now, I’m sure with the Hollywood vibe, she’d be afraid that it’s on fire with all of this crazy salacious, insanity that has been made into Tiger King.”
Kanye Or Taylor?: Internet Debates Who The Real Snake Is
After Kanye West and Taylor Swift's full phone call in 2016 about his controversial "Famous" lyrics leaked, the Internet is arguing over who was really in the wrong.
When the full phone conversation between Kanye West and Taylor Swift from 2016, in which he told her about his plans to namedrop her in his then-unreleased song, "Famous," recently leaked, the Internet went into a frenzy. The extended footage of the call, filmed by Kim Kardashian, puts forward some new evidence in Taylor's favour, seemingly proving that she never lied about what Kanye did and didn't tell her about what would be included in the song.

Way back then, Taylor inferred she was offended by Kanye rapping, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b*tch famous" on "Famous," and Kim proceeded to expose her for lying by releasing a snippet of the phone call, where Kanye can be heard giving Taylor a heads up about mentioning her in the song. Taylor always maintained that she was aware of the "sex" line but not the "b*tch" line, and this newfound clip seems to support that claim.
The leaked footage has got the Internet divided, with #KanyeWestIsOverParty trending on Twitter as a result. Swifties are purporting Taylor's innocence, Kanye fans are insisting that the clip proves nothing, and everyone else is attempting to approach the situation rationally. On the one hand, some feel that the full conversation proves that Taylor told the truth from the beginning: she was only ever told about the "sex" line.
However, this full-length clip still doesn't make a difference to others, who have decided to stand by Kanye.
Kanye West & Taylor Swift’s 2016 Phone Call Has Leaked In Full
Kanye West and Taylor Swift's infamous phone call from 2016 discussing "Famous" has leaked, and it doesn't make Kanye nor Kim Kardashian look so good.
Kanye West and Taylor Swift discussing the lyrics to his 2016 track "Famous" over the phone, which was famously caught on camera by Kim Kardashian and later shared with the public to expose Taylor's hypocrisy, has leaked in full, and it looks like Kim and Kanye are the ones who need to be exposed. If you're unfamiliar with this decade-long beef, you may be living under a rock. The Taylor-Kanye feud is one of modern day pop culture's finest gems, and in 2016, Kim Kardashian was famously thrown into the mix as Kanye's partner in crime (and, of course, his wife).

After Taylor and Kanye finally made up following his acceptance speech interruption at the 2009 VMAs, it wasn't until about four years ago that their feud was reignited when Ye dropped the lead single "Famous" off of Life of Pablo in 2016. The lines, "I think me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b*tch famous" caused quite the controversy, and Taylor went on to play the victim (as usual). However, Kim Kardashian went on to share a snippet of the the phone conversation in which Kanye first told Taylor about the song, exposing Taylor for lying about not knowing that she would be mentioned on it. Here are the original clips of the phone call that Kim leaked back in 2016:
Taylor maintained that she only knew about the "sex" line and not the "b*tch" part, but she was deemed a "snake" by the public and promptly went into "hiding." She returned in 2017 with her comeback album, Reputation, where she took a few jabs at Kanye, and the rest is history...

Or so we thought. The full conversation between Kanye and Taylor has leaked online after all these years, and it turns out Taylor wasn't exactly lying after all. Kanye only actually tells her about the "controversial" line that jokes about them having sex, and never informs her that he'll be referring to her as "that b*tch" or claiming to have made her famous on the track.
