Nicki Minaj and 6ix9ine released a brand new collaboration this past week called "Trollz" and reception has truly been lukewarm at best. Many are disappointed that Nicki would associate 6ix9ine following his stint in jail although the MC doesn't seem to care. Her and 6ix9ine appear to be quite friendly and Nicki remains unapologetic for that.
Chicago rapper King Von doesn't seem to be too fond of this fact as yesterday, he took to Twitter with some criticisms of Nicki. As he explains, he used to be a big of Minaj but her actions are simply out of line considering the lives 6ix9ine has ruined due to snitching.
“Damn and I use to love Nicki Minaj," King Von wrote in a now-deleted tweet. "I kno so many mfs that a do anything to make it. Go against every moral break everycode. Trade on every friend jus for a taste of the fast life. Desperate easily moved a** people. Den get the sh*T and it don’t even be worth all the lost and pain a mf went threw.U chasing dat sh*t.”
While many agree with King Von's sentiments, the song continues to do big numbers on the charts. Over the next few weeks, it will be interesting to see if 6ix9ine can keep up his current momentum.

French Montana Says His Career Would Be "Over" If He Snitched Like 6ix9ine
French Montana denounced Tekashi 6ix9ine for trying to establish the trend that “snitching is cool,” insisting that he couldn’t “sleep at night” if he ever did the same.
French Montana, like many in the rap game, is not down with snitching. On Thursday (May 14th), the rapper caught up with Bootleg Kev on 92.3 LA, where the two of them offered their takes on the 6ix9ine situation. Ever since the controversial rapper officially returned to the music scene—and to his old chaotic ways—last week following his release from prison, 6ix9ine has been (rightfully) pissing a lot of people off, and French appears to be one of them. Speaking on the circus of 6ix9ine’s recent antics, French notes, “you know this is not gonna last.”

“Especially when people you’re donating money to not [are] accepting it,” he continued. Recently, 6ix9ine’s $200,000 donation to the charitable No Kid Hungry Foundation was rejected on the grounds that his “activities do not align with [their] mission and values.” French goes on to question how 6xi9ine has managed to actually convince himself that “snitching is cool now.”

“My career right now—20 years in the making—if I do something like that, my career is over,” French remarks. “I wouldn’t even have the guts to go on and do a live like that, ’cause I can’t go to sleep at night. At the end of the day, you gotta do what makes you go to sleep at night.” Watch his full conversation with Bootleg Kev below:
Lil Bibby Slams 6ix9ine’s Defense For Snitching
Lil Bibby's a no-nonsense type of guy.
Tekashi 6ix9ine's back making headlines following his stint in prison. Though brief, his return was seemingly welcomed by the public. Roughly two million people tuned in to his inaugural Instagram Live on Friday where he broke down everything including why he snitched. He embraced it and claimed that he had no obligation to be loyal to the people who were once in his corner.
"Where was the loyalty when you was sleeping with my baby mother? Where was the loyalty when you was caught on the wiretap tryna kill me? Where was the loyalty when you tried to kidnap my mother? Where was the loyalty when you stole millions of dollars from me? Where was that? So who broke it first?" he said on Instagram Live. "I get it. Don’t fight fire with fire—I’m sorry. But what did I do wrong? ... Be loyal to n***as that kidnapped me, beat the shit out of me on video and everything? I’m supposed to be loyal to that? Nah, you know what it is? Y’all don’t wanna accept the fact that those is all true facts. Y’all understand why I snitched, y’all understand. Y’all don’t want to understand."
6ix9ine's faced backlash from the hip-hop community over being a snitch including Lil Bibby who shared his thoughts on the matter. "You gotta watch people that think 69 gotta point," he said. When someone asked what he'd do if his friend kidnapped his mom, Bibby had a no-nonsense approach. "Whole family's dying," he added.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Explains Why He Snitched
During his record-breaking IG stream, Tekashi 6ix9ine addresses the elephant in the room, breaking down why he decided to snitch.
Like that, Tekashi 6ix9ine came back with a vengeance, taking to Instagram Live and locking in over two million concurrent viewers — suffice it to say, the record was absolutely shattered. And while it’s unlikely that he’ll ever earn of a certain demographic, the stream and his return single “Gooba” made it abundantly clear that he’s ready to wear the “Rat” label like a badge of honor.

And while many were left debating the ethics about 6ix9ine’s notorious choice to betray the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods to whom he once allied with, today marked the first time 6ix9ine himself addressed the reasoning behind his decision. For one, it’s clear he holds no remorse for what he did, doubling down on the position that it was he, in fact, who was betrayed first.
“Where was the loyalty when you was sleeping with my baby mother?” asks 6ix9ine. “Where was the loyalty when you were caught on the wire tap trying to kill me? Where was the loyalty when you tried to kidnap my mother? Where was the loyalty when you were stealing millions of dollars from me? Where was that? Who broke it first? I get it. Don’t fight fire with fire. I’m sorry. But what did I do wrong? Be loyal to n***as that’s fuckin my baby moms? Be loyal to n***as that kidnapped me, beat the shit out of me on video? I’m supposed to be loyal to that?”
It’s clear how he feels about his former associates, and while his explanation is unlikely to sway those who have already turned their back, it remains an acknowledgment of the situation at the very least. Check it out for yourself below, and sound off — did those two million viewers cement Tekashi 6ix9ine as the reigning king as he proclaims to be? Or is morbid curiosity a hell of a drug?
Ja Rule Aims For 50 Cent With "Curtis Ratson" Meme
Ja Rule eggs on his beef with 50 Cent by sharing a meme of the rap mogul illustrated as a rat.
It's safe to say that there won't be an Instagram Live Battle between Ja Rule and 50 Cent. The longstanding feud between the two rappers has been well-documented on social media, in songs, and in interviews. The chart-topping artists just can't seem to get on the same page, and after Ja expressed interest in participating in Timbaland and Swizz Beatz's Verzuz Battles on IG, fans were excited to see these toe got head-to-head. Swizz seemed uncertain because he's aware that the two rappers don't get along on and off wax, but Ja said he was willing to give the culture what they wanted.
However, 50 Cent didn't accept the challenge with open arms. Instead, Fif set off a string of memes and Ja Rule returned with accusations that 50 Cent was "scared to compete" against him. Ja also took to Twitter to say that he "musically influenced" Fif and on Thursday (April 16), he hit his opponent with another insult, suggesting once again that Fif was a snitch.
"Oh you wanna make memes...?Curtis Ratson!!!" Ja wrote in a caption of a photo of 50 Cent illustrated as a rat. "Bored in the house and I’m in the house bored... ? this post will self destruct... ??? #PettyMurphy #peopleschamp #Iconn #NyStars." We can only imagine how Fif is going to respond to this one. If they would put this energy into a battle, they may just break Instagram Live records. Check out Ja Rule's post below.
Akon Defends 6ix9ine For Snitching
Akon explains why he's still riding for Tekashi 6ix9ine, defending the rapper during a conversation with DJ Whoo Kid.
Right around the time Tekashi 6ix9ine was being sentenced last year, Akon spoke about the case and stated that he understands why the rapper ratted out all of his buddies.
"With Tekashi it's a little different because he comes from a generation that really didn't have no moral ethic," he said in an interview. "I can't really speak on why he would do that, but most likely it's for the obvious reasons. But everyone goes through something in their lives that propels them to do things that they feel is in the best interest of themselves. And I think, you really can't blame him, if what he's saying is the truth."
Now that the rainbow-haired artist is out of prison, he's singing that same tune, even going one step further and referring to the Brooklyn star as his "lil man."

In a conversation with DJ Whoo Kid, which took place on Instagram Live, Akon explained why he's still defending 6ix9ine.
"He had to literally decide, ‘What’s more valuable to me?’ My family or my future," says Akon. "You have to make a decision that’s going to better you."
He believes that snitching is viewed differently across generations, no longer affecting the youth as it did back in the day. If Akon or DJ Whoo Kid would have told on all their partners, their careers would be over. However, because of 6ix9ine's age, Akon thinks he's being given a second chance.

Joe Rogan Attacks L.A. Mayor For Rewarding Social Distancing Snitches
Joe Rogan sounds off on Instagram regarding the new social distance “snitching” movement by L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti.
Joe Rogan, Los Angeles resident and world-famous podcaster, called out L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti for a new rule that rewards people for snitching on those not obeying social distancing.

“Do not worry, comrades. History will not repeat itself. Turn your neighbor in for rewards. Seriously… is this shit necessary? Aren’t most people severely changing their lives and staying at home? How the fuck would they not know that this takes us down a terrible road while people are already paranoid and freaked out?,” Rogan said on Instagram, Friday. The post is accompanied by a picture of the headline, “L.A. Mayor Offering Rewards To Social Distancing Snitches.”
Mayor Garcetti announced the move at the beginning of the month saying, “You know the old expression about snitches, well in this case snitches get rewards. We want to thank you for turning folks in and making sure we are all safe,” according to a local CBS affiliate.
“Your decision to stay home may mean that there’s one less person who needs a ventilator we do not have,” Garcetti continued. “And bringing case and death numbers down won’t just happen because of physical distancing and isolation, but also because of testing.”
There are over 19,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and over 500 deaths from COVID-19 in California.

Tekashi 6ix9ine Breaks Silence For First Time Since Release
Tekashi 6ix9ine is back on the ‘Gram following his controversial release from prison earlier this week.
Tekashi 6ix9ineis officially a free man. The rapper was released from prison earlier this week after a judge approved of a compassionate release. This has been met with both negative and positive reactions — hip-hop has disowned the rapper for cooperating with the feds while others are ecstatic that he’d be back on social media to entertain the masses as everyone practices social distancing.
Bob Levey/Getty ImagesThere has, however, been discussion whether there would be a social media ban after he was released to complete the remainder of his sentence on home confinement. Nothing in his papers stated that he would be restricted from using social media and it appears that he’s already back on IG. TheShadeRoom recently reported on the mayor of Los Angeles’ offering snitches rewards for reporting businesses violating the city’s stay-at-home order. Fully self-aware of the stigma that surrounds snitching, it appears that he’s embraced it and, as he would put it, is letting his nuts hang. The rapper simply slid into the comments, writing, “Coming to the rescue.”
With 6ix9ine’s recent release from prison, it appears that he’s already back in his trolling ways. His lawyer previously revealed that the rapper is plotting on the release of two new albums. One album being entirely sung in Spanish while the other will be hip-hop. Either way, it appears that he’s already marked his return to the ‘Gram.
Snoop Dogg Refuses To Back Off Of 6ix9ine
Snoop Dogg spoke to ScHoolboy Q and when the topic of snitching came up, Tekashi 6ix9ine entered the chat.
Snoop Dogg interviewed ScHoolboy Q on a new episode of GGN this week and during their chat, the rappers spoke about acting and if the TDE star would ever transition to a role on the big screen. He said that he would have no hesitation to play a cop or a snitch in a movie before the conversation shifted for Snoop Dogg to tear Tekashi 6ix9ine a new one.
Perhaps the most vocal critic of the Brooklyn rapper-turned-informant, Snoop Dogg laid the pressure on the rainbow-haired rat once more, bringing him up once the conversation included the topic of snitching.
“We already got one in hip-hop,” said the Doggfather when ScHoolboy Q joked about snitching in movies. “6ix9ine doing that already. He doing the hell out of it. He doing the shit out of that telling shit.”
Phillip Faraone/Getty ImagesThis is just the latest instance of Snoop Dogg talking trash about Tekashi 6ix9ine, following a series of memes, jokes, and insults thrown on social media.
As pointed out by Complex, both Q and Snoop are admitted gang members and they followed up by discussing the implications of gang activity and 6ix9ine’s involvement.
“It’s some new wave bullshit going on in the world,” said Snoop. “I know back in the day—even where you come from—n***as had to get put on. Wasn’t no just wake up and you from the ‘hood. You had to get put on, you had to go through some things, you had to really earn your keep. To me, that remedy is out of here. There’s no more of that. It’s washed away.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Snitching On Nine Trey Detailed In New "Infamous" Podcast Episode
Episode 5 of “Infamous: The Tekashi 6ix9ine Story” chronicles how the rapper ratted on all his fellow Nine Trey members to reduce his own sentence.
Previously on Complex and Spotify’s Infamous: The Tekashi 6ix9ine Story podcast… Angie Martinez narrated the story of how the rainbow-haired rapper ended up getting kidnapped by his fellow Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods member, Anthony “Harv” Ellison. The episode left off with Tekashi and his manager, Shotti, plotting an attack on Harv to get back at him. Little did they know, the feds were spying on their moves and were on the verge of gathering enough evidence to take down Nine Trey.
In Episode 7 of Infamous, titled “That’s What Rats Do”, it’s detailed how Tekashi cooperated with the feds in order to reduce his sentence and gain revenge over those who wronged him. After members of the gang first started being taken into custody, it wasn’t known that Tekashi would serve as a prime snitch in the case. However, suspicions arose when he was the only one brought out separately from the rest of his co-defendants when their indictments were being handed out. Initially, this exception was imagined to possibly be a result of his celebrity status. Soon, the world would discover that Tekashi was spilling all the beans to benefit himself.

All the charges Tekashi was facing should have amounted to a 47-year sentence, yet reports are now saying he could be released from prison as soon as August 2020. How did this happen? Well, he quickly plead guilty to racketeering and firearm offenses. The public became more convinced that Tekashi was ratting as the list of defendants in the federal case got longer, eventually implicating a dozen Nine Trey members. One theory for his willingness to cooperate were that he was looking for a ticket to escape the gang, which would be easy if most of its members were locked up. It was also suspected that he turned on Shotti because Tekashi thought his manager was stealing from him. Shotti was initially one of the only members refusing to plead guilty. Once he did, he still refused to snitch.
The episode goes on to discuss the two other cooperating witnesses in the case that helped sentence so many Nine Trey members.
