Giannis Antetokounmpo has been the backbone of the Milwaukee Bucks for what seems like the better part of a decade. The Greek Freak is now an MVP winner and as of last week, many were saying he was on track to win it again. On Friday, some pundits changed their tune as Giannis and the Bucks lost to the Los Angeles Lakers, who could very well be their opponent in the NBA Finals. Yesterday, it was reported that Giannis actually suffered an injury in that game and will now have to miss a couple of games.
According to Chris Mannix, Giannis was diagnosed with a minor sprain in his right knee. In fact, the reigning MVP had to miss last night's game against the Phoenix Suns, which the Bucks actually lost. Giannis will also miss tonight's game against the Denver Nuggets before being re-evaluated ahead of the team's home game against the Boston Celtics, on Thursday.
There are no guarantees in relation to his return although if all goes well, the Celtics game should be the target date. Giannis is what makes this Bucks team special and without him in the lineup, they will find it tough moving forward. Once Giannis comes back, this team will be poised for a huge playoff run.
Skip Bayless Disses LeBron James During Luka Doncic Rant
Skip Bayless can never let LeBron live.
Skip Bayless has been one of the biggest LeBron James haters in the world over the past decade. Whenever LeBron does something he great, he refuses to acknowledge it. Meanwhile, whenever LeBron does something bad, he makes sure to prop it up and not let it go for weeks on end. This hatred for LeBron has made Bayless a target amongst sports fans and recently, he came through with yet another piece of anti-LeBron propaganda.
During a recent segment, Bayless spoke about Luka Doncic and how he is always blaming the referees for his problems. After Seth Curry compared Doncic to LeBron, Bayless made sure to get in a dig at LeBron saying the only thing that is comparable between the two, is their hatred towards the officials.
“Seth Curry said Luka is 'LeBron-like.' He's LeBron-like after games too because he's learned the fine art of taking the focus off his failure and putting it on the refs," Bayless said. As you can imagine, the take angered his co-host Shannon Sharpe who couldn't believe Skip would take that kind of dig out of nowhere.
We all know Bayless loves the San Antonio Spurs so his dismissal of a Mavericks player shouldn't come as much of a surprise. At this point, neither should the LeBron slander.
LeBron James’ Biggest "Space Jam 2" Demand Revealed
LeBron James needed to stay in shape, somehow.
When LeBron James signed with the Los Angeles Lakers, it was a foregone conclusion that he would be leveraging his newfound home for a career in films. James had been in movies before but he had yet to star in one. With Space Jam 2, it was a given that he would be the leading man. Last summer, James got to spend much of his time at Warner Brothers studios where he filmed scenes for the movie and got to act alongside the Looney Tunes.
According to Ramona Shelburne, James had one big ask for the production crew. Much like Michael Jordan, James didn't want the production of the film to get in the way of his training regimen for this season. In light of this, Warner Brothers built a gym on their lot, which LeBron used every single day prior to filming. So far, this decision has paid off as LeBron and the Lakers are first place in the Western Conference.
At 35 years old, LeBron needs to stay in shape in order to keep up with the young guns of the league. Year 17 is no joke yet LeBron has managed to be one of the best players in the league. In some people's eyes, he may even be the MVP this season.
Some people thought LeBron's foray into movies would be a distraction but clearly, it's been a blessing in disguise.

Snoop Dogg Hilariously Reacts To Lakers Victory Over Clippers
Snoop Dogg celebrated the Los Angeles Lakers’ victory over the Clippers by calling out Clipper Darrell and Marcellus Wiley.
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers held court at Staples Center this past weekend, defeating Giannis Antetokounmpo and the NBA-leading Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, followed by a victory against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday afternoon. As a result of Sunday’s ‘W,’ the Lake Show improved to 49-13 with a 6.5 game cushion over the second-seeded Clips.
The pair of marquee victories had Laker Nation beating their chest on Sunday, including Snoop Dogg who delivered the celebration of the night.
Although Sunday’s showdown at Staples Center was “just another game” on the 82-game regular season slate, there was most certainly a playoff atmosphere in the building.
“The best type of games are when you come out of there with bloody lips and scratches and guys taking charges and guys chirping,” Anthony Davis said after the Lakers’ 112-103 win, per ESPN. “Those are the type of games that you live for, the fun games in basketball that every player in this locker room wants. It was a fun game today.”
“Wasn’t there, like, a stat they’re 10-0 full-strength, something like that?” asked JaVale McGee, correctly citing the Clippers’ number. “Welp. It’s one loss now.”
The two teams will meet one more time during the regular season on April 9th, but basketball fans abound have to be hoping that that won’t be the last time they do battle this season. Up next for Snoop’s Lakers are a trio of home games, including a nationally televised (TNT) matchup against the Houston Rockets on Thursday night.

Rams New Logo Leaks, And It’s Pretty Awful
How could they have gotten this so wrong?
Marketing is both an art and a science. Coming up with activations and artwork that will keep people engaged can be quite difficult. When it comes to sports teams, these rules apply the most. Logos are what make teams recognizable. Every few years, some teams will change their logo in an attempt to rebrand and make themselves more attractive to younger audiences. According to a recent leak on , the Los Angeles Rams are trying to do just that.
In the post below, you can see a baseball cap with the new Rams logo on it. No, your eyes are not deceiving you. This logo does, in fact, look like it was intended for the Los Angeles Chargers. Just look at the crest above the "LA." It looks like the Chargers thunderbolt. Well, apparently this is for the Rams which realistically, makes very little sense.
Fans immediately noticed the similarities with the Chargers logo and pointed them out on social media. Rams fans were downright offended by the new logo and vowed to never buy merch with the insignia. The Rams have yet to comment on the leak and whether or not this is a real logo. If it is the real deal, we can only imagine what the Rams marketing department is going through right now. Perhaps yet another redesign could be on the way.
If you're a Rams fan, let us know what you think of this logo, in the comments below.
Stephen Jackson Recalls Insane Strip Club Shootout: Watch
Former NBA player Stephen Jackson shares outrageous details of the infamous Club Rio altercation that took place back in 2006.
In October 2006, several members of the Indiana Pacers were involved in a chaotic altercation outside a strip club, during which Stephen Jackson was run over by a car and several gun shots were fired. If you don't recall that infamous incident, you can read the old ESPN report here, or you can just sit back and listen to Jackson's version of what went down on the latest episode of his and Matt Barnes' "All The Smoke" podcast.

According to Jackson, he was just about to pull out of the parking lot at Club Rio when he saw Jamaal Tinsley being chased out of the building by a group of men that they had recently argued with. Naturally, Captain Jack grabbed his gun and came to his teammate aid. Says Jackson:
"By the time I get over there it's like we about to fight, so I hit one of them with my pistol. We get to fighting, more dudes come up out the club. I been in that position to many times - I know before I get surrounded and stomped out I'm gonna let off some warning shots. I let two off. By that time, I was running to my car. Somebody got in their car and sized me up in the parking lot and hit me going about 35-40 miles per hour - Boom! Knocked me in the air, I hit the ground... my face just hitting the ground, I stand up all my teeth gone, my lips' shattered."
Jackson went on to describe how he came to his senses after one of his teammates started shooting at the vehicle, and then Jackson, too, emptied his clip until he passed out. Again, this is happened just weeks before Jackson, Tinsley and the rest of the Pacers were preparing to kick off the 2006 NBA season.
Check out Jackson's recollection of events in the video embedded below.
Chris Paul Confronts Young Heckler Sitting Courtside
Chris Paul wasn't going to let himself be disrespected.
Chris Paul has been having an outstanding season with the Oklahoma City Thunder. When he was traded to the team, there were fears that they would be bottom feeders with no chance of making it to the NBA playoffs. Instead, they have been the shock of the season. They are currently fifth in the Western Conference and have a legitimate shot at overtaking the Houston Rockets for fourth. If this were to happen, they would have home-court advantage in the first round of the postseason.
Last night, Paul and the Thunder defeated the Boston Celtics, in Boston. At one point during the game, Paul took exception to something that was said by a fan who was sitting courtside. As you can see in the clip below, Paul walks up to the fan and shakes his hand before giving him a bit of an earful. The teenager was sitting with some of his friends and seemed shocked by the exchange.
Fans get caught talking spicy all the time and because NBA players are so close to the fans, they can talk back and engage in the banter. This was a teachable moment for the young Celtics fan and Paul made sure to be the adult in the situation. With this in mind, we hope the fan thinks twice before disrespecting one of the best point guards in the league, again.
Kyrie Irving’s Preferred Head Coach Revealed
New details emerge regarding the Brooklyn Nets' coaching change, including how Kyrie Irving "soured" on Kenny Atkinson and who he wants to be the team's next coach.
The Brooklyn Nets unexpectedly cut ties with head coach Kenny Atkinson over the weekend and almost immediately fans began pointing the blame at point guard Kyrie Irving. In the days after the Nets and Atkinson "mutual parted ways," new details have emerged suggesting that Irving "soured" on Atkinson - meaning, yes, he certainly played a role in the decision to move on.
As it stands, assistant coach Jacque Vaughn will take over as interim head coach for the remainder of the season, but the team is expected to hire a more permanent option this off-season. Which begs the question: Who does Kyrie Irving want to be Brooklyn's next head coach?

According to Yahoo Sports' Vincent Goodwill, Irving is hoping that his former coach Ty Lue will take the job.
Irving soured on Atkinson early, league sources told Yahoo Sports, and currently prefers Clippers assistant Tyronn Lue to be the team's next head coach. Lue was the head coach in Cleveland when Irving hit the winning shot in the 2016 NBA Finals and was in talks to take the Lakers job before discussions broke down.
Goodwill also notes that sources claim Atkinson "wasn’t fond of coaching Durant and Irving based on what he saw this season." The Nets (29-34) are currently slotted in the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference, just a half game up on the eighth seed Orlando Magic. Up next for the team is a four-game West Coast trip including matchups against the Lakers, Warriors, Clippers and Kings.
LeBron James Reacts To Lakers Massive Win Over Clippers
LeBron James had a dominant weekend in which he dismantled the Bucks and Clippers.
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers had the perfect start to the weekend as the team defeated the Milwaukee Bucks who have the best record in the entire NBA. LeBron and Anthony Davis were lights out in that game but their attention had to quickly shift to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers are seen as the Lakers’ biggest threat this season and are one of the few teams the purple and gold has been unable to beat. On Sunday, that all changed as LeBron helped lead his team to a 112-103 victory.
The win helped bring the Lakers to a record of 49-13. They have built a nice little cushion at the top of the Western Conference standings and remain one of the biggest frontrunners for the NBA title. After defeating two of the best teams in the league, LeBron was feeling himself and took to Instagram where he compared himself to a lion.
LeBron is also in the discussion for league MVP. Last week, most people would have said Giannis Antetokounmpo deserves the honor. Now, LeBron has become far and away the best player in the league which is pretty incredible when you consider how he is 35 years old and playing in his 17th season.
At this point, it really feels like the Lakers and Clippers are on a collision course to the Western Conference Finals.
