The Knicks' public relations twitter account announced the results, Saturday: "The Madison Square Garden Company Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jim Dolan has tested positive for coronavirus. He has been in self-isolation and is experiencing little to no symptoms. He continues to oversee business operations."
Earlier in the day, Dolan announced he would continue paying workers at MSG through May 3, although sporting and other events will not be held. The NBA season has been suspended indefinitely as of March 11.
Dolan, 64, is the first NBA owner to test positive for the Coronavirus.
Rudy Gobert was the first player to test positive, but many have followed suit since. Knicks' players have not been tested for the virus, because they have not exhibited any symptoms.
New York City is currently the epicenter of the virus with over 29,000 confirmed cases alone. At least 728 people have died.
Trump is considering a quarantine of the state of New York, but he's said it is still unlikely. Other states, such as Rhode Island, are trying to prevent New Yorkers from traveling. Rhode Island is stopping any cars with New York plates and mandating them to a 14-day quarantine.

Donald Trump Seeks Advice From Alex Rodriquez On Coronavirus: Report
Donald Trump, reportedly, spoke with former-Yankee Alex Rodriquez for his opinion on Trump's response to the Coronavirus and for advice.

"During marathon day of meetings earlier this week, President Trump continued outreach across the country regarding coronavirus & phoned former Yankees baseball player Alex Rodriguez," ABC senior editorial producer John Santucci tweeted Friday. "Multiple sources tell ABC, the president spoke to ARod from the Oval Office.
"A source close to Rodriguez told @ABC the call with Trump was 'pleasant' adding that Trump was seeking thoughts from ARod about the coronavirus response. Sources say there was no discussion of AROD or his fiancé Jennifer Lopez taking on any official effort," he continued.
Trump responded, "More Fake News!"
Trump has been critical of ARod in the past. He once tweeted, "The @Yankees should immediately stop paying A-Rod—he signed his contract without telling them he was a druggie."
While Trump originally downplayed the seriousness of the Coronavirus, he's now begun taking action to combat it. Saturday, Trump announced that he is considering a quarantine on New York, New Jersey and parts of Connecticut. New York has the highest rates of coronavirus cases across the country.

Donovan Mitchell Has Message For Fans After Coronavirus Recovery
Donovan Mitchell has a clean bill of health after being diagnosed with COVID-19 just a couple of weeks ago.
Donovan Mitchell and his teammate, Rudy Gobert, both ended up catching the Coronavirus that has been making its way throughout the globe over the past few months. The pandemic is about to reach its peak but for Gobert and Mitchell, the worst is finally over. They were recently told that they have been cleared of the virus and will be able to continue their lives as normal.
Mitchell understands just how bad this virus can be. With this in mind, he has decided to educate people and yesterday, he even took to his Twitter account where he had a serious message for everyone at home who is going through quarantine. As he said, it's important to stay the course because even if you don't feel sick, you could still be carrying the virus.
"On a more serious note... let’s continue to practice social distancing and remember... even though you may not have symptoms you still may be infected!!" Mitchell wrote. "Let’s keep everyone in our prayers and stay safe."
Due to COVID-19, the entire NBA season has been put on pause and won't resume until it is safe to get into large gatherings again. If you're sad that the NBA is gone and want it back sooner rather than later, you should live by Mitchell's words of wisdom.
Steph Curry Reportedly Not Concerned With Basketball Right Now
Steph Curry has better things to worry about considering we are in the midst of a pandemic.
Steph Curry has been doing his best to keep busy during the NBA’s Coronavirus hiatus. In fact, earlier this week, Curry did a Q&A with Dr. Anthony Fauci who has been one of the leading experts in regard to this pandemic. Just like everyone else, Curry has been at home and is looking to stay isolated from the outside world as we try to curb the spread of this virus, once and for all.
Many NBA players have been struggling during the pandemic due to the fact that they don’t have workout equipment at home. Curry hasn’t exactly had to worry about this as his home is well-equipped. According to his trainer Brandon Payne, basketball hasn’t really been on Curry’s mind anyway. In fact, he’s more worried about Cam Newton leaving the Panthers.

“To be honest with you, we’ve talked more about the Carolina Panthers’ quarterback situation than we’ve talked about anything else,” Payne said according to Tom Haberstroh of NBC Sports. “We talked a little bit about workouts and what he can do, but it’s not a whole lot right now. Stephen is fortunate because he’s got a larger home with a workout area with some pretty nice equipment in it. He’ll be able to maintain things physically pretty well because he’s got the tools to do so. Some of the other guys I’ve been talking to? They’re a little bit more challenged.”
Hopefully, we can see Curry back on the court, sooner than later. He was just starting to get back with the Warriors when this pandemic hit and now, we have been deprived of his infamous shot.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Reveals Who Annoys Him The Most
Giannis Antetokounmpo had a surprising revelation about who his arch-nemesis is.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been proving himself to be one of the best players in the entire NBA and prior to the NBA hiatus, he was in the discussion to win his second-straight NBA MVP award. Now, he spends most of his time on IG Live where he answers fan questions. Recently, Giannis was talking about who he hatest to play in front of the most. Giannis even mentioned the Toronto Raptors and how Drake is pretty up there. However, Giannis immediately retracted his Drake statement and claimed that Raptors Superfan Nav is the one who annoys him the most because of the way he is constantly talking trash.
Nav saw the clip of Giannis' admission and immediately took to Twitter where he noted that everything he says is all fun and games. The superfan even offered Giannis a meal for the next time he comes to Toronto.
"Hahaha @Giannis_An34 love you like family before and after the game but during those 48 minutes I have to do whatever it takes to give my boys the edge! You have to know when you visit Toronto you get the 1-2 punch @Drake then the superfan :) dinner on me next time #staysafe," Nav wrote.
Clearly, these two have a friendly rivalry that is all in good fun. For Nav, the rivalry has been just a tad one-sided so far. Perhaps that will change when the Bucks beat the Raptors in a playoff series.
Floyd Mayweather Schools Antonio Brown On Not Paying Taxes
Floyd Mayweather's advice to Antonio Brown is going to make the IRS come knocking at his door.
Floyd Mayweather is one of the most legendary boxers of all time and has made millions of dollars throughout his career. In fact, Mayweather's fights can make him upwards of hundreds of millions of dollars simply because his name draws a massive crowd. When you make a lot of money, the taxman frequently comes knocking at your door. If you don't pay these taxes, the IRS could come after you which would end up being a pretty scary sight.
Mayweather was recently on Instagram live with Antonio Brown and in the middle of their conversation, Mayweather lamented about the concept of taxes and how we have no clue where our hard-earned money goes. In fact, Mayweather claims there is no law that says we need to pay taxes. Brown seemed to agree with this notion although if they went to google, they would understand that there are harsh penalties for not paying taxes, including jail time.
When you're as rich as Brown or Mayweather, paying your taxes shouldn't be that big of an issue although, for them, it seems like a really big hassle. As for us common folk, we will have to continue paying our taxes without raising a single finger to the powers that be.
As they say, such is life.
Kyrie Irving Shares Fond Memories Of Kobe Bryant
Kyrie Irving has some pretty incredible memories of playing against Kobe.
Kyrie Irving was a huge fan of Kobe Bryant growing up and when he entered the league, the Los Angeles Lakers legend welcomed him with open arms. They had a solid relationship for years which is why Irving was so distraught when Kobe tragically passed away in a helicopter crash back in January. Since Kobe's death, multiple players have shared some of their favorite stories regarding the legend. Recently, Irving did the exact same thing during an Instagram live session.
Irving spoke about a particular moment in which Kobe dropped 42 on him. What made the game so special was an instance in which Kobe blocked Kyrie and then got the bucket going the other way.
Per Kyrie:
“Kobe had 42 points that game and he guaranteed that he was gonna give us 40. So I get it at the top of the key, I hear the crowd and the crowd was like; they;re all erupting silently. They’re like: ‘oh!!’ and everybody starts clapping like: ‘oh yeah!’ and it's at the top of the key. Now what does that remind you of?
Back in the city, back in Jersey, when you get in that moment, this is your time. So I get at the top of the key and I make a move, he stutters for a minute and I spin. When I spun, this dude was waiting for that and he punched that shit. He punched it, he punched it bro.”
Irving's story is yet another example of just how great the Black Mamba was. Needless to say, this entire NBA season is dedicated to Kobe.
Floyd Mayweather Rips NFL While On IG Live With Antonio Brown
Floyd Mayweather and Antonio Brown had some interesting conversations on Instagram Live yesterday.
Antonio Brown has been through his fair share of hardship throughout his career in the NFL. Last season proved to be especially turbulent for the star wide receiver as numerous off the field issues caught up to him. Now, he is without a team and awaiting a decision from the league in regards to a recent investigation. In the midst of all of this, Brown has been working out at home and enjoying the quarantine.
Yesterday, Brown got on IG live and was joined by boxing legend Floyd Mayweather. The boxer immediately went on a lengthy rant about the NFL and how they have been treating Brown unfairly throughout this entire saga.
“They need to let you play in the NFL, man. They need to stop worrying about what you do on the outside,” Mayweather said. “You can get arrested 40 times, 50 times. Do that got something to do with you catching the ball or what you doing on the field?”
Mayweather then spoke about how Tom Brady wants to play with Brown which should be reason enough for teams to sign him. “You’re supposed to be in the NFL. Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks of all time. He’s not requesting you for no reason.”
It remains to be seen what will happen with Brown although if it were up to Mayweather, he would have been back on the field by now.

Shaq Displays Dad-Like Dance Moves Alongside His Sons
Shaq's dance moves leave a lot to be desired although you can't really blame him.
Let's face it, this quarantine has provided very little sports content. Athletes and analysts are bored out of their minds as there is simply nothing to do. Leagues are on pause and seasons are in a state of purgatory. No one knows what's going to come next and unfortunately, it's not looking too good for anyone. Regardless, we are all in this together and now that we have some extra time with our families, many are taking advantage.
One of those people is none other than NBA legend, Shaq. The former superstar has been spending time at home with his sons, Shaqir and Shareef. Shaqir has his very own TikTok and has been getting his dad to partake in the festivities. In the video below, Shaq brings the dad vibes as he tries to emulate the dance moves of his children. While his moves leave a lot to be desired, you can't help but commend him for trying.
With the NBA season destined to be on pause until the late summer, it will be interesting to see what Shaq and other analysts begin to do. Perhaps he will start doing breakdowns of old games he was a part of. If that's the case, his social media will certainly be must-watch material.
In the meantime though, boredom has prevailed.
Carmelo Anthony Recounts How LeBron James Saved His Life
Carmelo Anthony almost drowned during a Banana Boat getaway but LeBron was there to save him.
Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade have had their fair share of fun alongside LeBron James although some situations have proven to be a lot direr than others. Recently, Wade and Melo were on Instagram live where they reflected on their favorite Kobe Bryant stories while also giving some insight on other great stories. One of those tales involved the Banana Boat crew and one of their signature vacations.
In the clip below, Anthony recounts the time LeBron had to save his life. Melo describes wanting to go snorkeling and eventually, things went left. Next thing he knew, LeBron was jumping off of the boat and rushing into the water to drag him back with one arm.
"It was my fault though, I was still trying to see the last bit of the barracuda, snorkeling and all that," Anthony said. "I look up, the current is taking me to the middle of the ocean, like opposite from the boat ... It was windy, all type of shit was going on through my head, I'll be honest with you. Then I look up at the boat and I see 'Bron jump off the boat like he is MacGyver. … He jumped off the boat into the water. He was bringing me back with one arm."
Thankfully, LeBron was there to save the day. This will certainly go down as a legendary tale that further adds to LeBron's mystique. Hopefully, we get more such stories throughout the rest of the quarantine period.
