Since everyone is stuck at home right now and possibly not working (unemployment claims hit an all-time high yesterday), nor in school, that must mean that there's a whole lot of waking and baking happening around the world. It's simple math. Or something. Whatever you're doing to ease the stress, whether it's smoking, using CBD, or meditating, today seemed like the perfect occasion to spread some playlist love with our smoke-approved Wake & Bake playlist. We think it'll work well for any mellow, stress-relieving situations, though.
Yesterday we had our twitter followers suggest new songs to add to the playlist, resulting in a fresh update. We received so many great suggestions, maybe we'll crowdsource playlist suggestions from you guys more often. The Wake & Bake playlist is littered with music from Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, Warren G, Dr. Dre, Jhene Aiko, Kendrick Lamar, and the list goes on. Whether it's a song that blatantly about smoking, or a song that creates a vibe for you post-smoke, we've got it.
Let us know if there any other songs we should add, and hit the follow button on the Spotify playlist below. We also have our FIRE EMOJI, On the Come Up and R&B SEASON playlists on Spotify, among others.
Lil Uzi Vert, Juice WRLD & More Lead This Week’s "Fire Emoji" Playlist
Our “Fire Emoji” playlist has the best tracks of this week’s most coveted releases.
This week’s “Fire Emoji” Spotify playlist is not to be slept on. This week has been one of the most historic weeks in hip-hop history in quite some time. Lil Uzi Vert released a total of two chart-topping projects in Eternal Atake (2020) and LUV Vs. The World 2 (2020) after years of battling with DJ Drama’s Generation One imprint. Jay Electronica finally released his debut album, A Written Testimony (2020), after a decade-plus long wait for his devoted fellowship. Lil Uzi Vert currently has the opportunity to surpass Eminem’s record for total album sales this new year with both of his highly-anticipated releases. While Rich The Kid, Curren$y, and more have all dropped listen-worthy projects for their loyal fanbases. Also, what have become hip-hop mainstays in Lil Baby and Megan Thee Stallion made appearances of this week’s “Fire Emoji” playlist.
Highly coveted hip-hop staples including Gunna, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Keed, Jhene Aiko, Ab-Soul, and more make their way onto the playlist as well. Check out this week’s “Fire Emoji” playlist in the Spotify streaming link below.
The Gym Playlist: Let Lil Baby Be Your Guide
Stay motivated with an updated edition of our brand new Gym Playlist, the perfect soundtrack for your next workout session.
We start this week’s edition of the Fit Or Die gym playlist with a couple of new tracks from Lil Baby‘s new project, My Turn, which just dropped on Friday. The Tay Keith produced banger “Commercial” featuring Lil Uzi Vert kicks off the playlist in a slow and steady fashion, perfect as you warm up for your work out. Lil Uzi Vert has been featured several times on the playlist, and again he shows up today with his new song “That Way.”
2 Chainz also made a solo return this past week with “No TV,” before we get back into some of the staple playlist additions: Roddy Ricch, Pop Smoke (“Welcome To The Party” finds a new place while “Mannequin” and “Shake The Room” are repeats.), Youngboy NBA, and even Valee makes an appearance with his Good Job, You Found Me cut “Shell.” You might also be surprised to find a little bit of classic Cam’ron on the list, “Oh Boy” fills a nostalgic need.
We’ve curated over two hours of high-energy music to fuel any type of exercise, so hopefully there is something in there to keep you motivated.

This week, we’re reminiscing about Mac Miller and Nipsey Hussle, and decided to sprinkle them all throughout the playlist. We start the tracklist with “Desperado” from Mac Miller’s fan-favourite Macadelic mixtape. Followed by another classic/throwback, this time from Rick Ross and Jay-Z with “The Devil is a Lie” off the Mastermind album. Both Pop Smoke and Lil Tjay make a couple of appearances once again this week, with “War” and “Mannequin.” There are two new tracks from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, and with two of his songs from last week making it back into rotation, he is among the most heavily-featured this week.

The Perfect Gym Playlist: Pop Smoke Dominates
We kick off a brand new week with a new batch of songs to act as your gym motivation for the next seven days.
Here’s to the second weekly edition of the Fit Or Die Workout Playlist. Last week we kicked off the inaugural edition of the playlist, with music from Lil Uzi, Lil Wayne and more.
This week, we’ve completely re-vamped so your gym workouts will not get tiresome. While Lil Wayne and Uzi still make an appearance or two, we start with “Mannequin,” a new track from Pop Smoke and Lil Tjay. This duo works very well together, Pop Smoke bringing his trademark booming voice while Tjay adds harmony. Don’t be surprised to find their earlier collab, “War” further down the playlist too. Pop Smoke’s new album, Meet the Woo 2, just dropped on Friday and you’ll find many more choice tracks off, including “Invincible” and “Shake The Room” with Quavo also appearing on this week’s playlist.
The new “Yikes” by Nicki Minaj fits in nicely between older tracks from Young M.A. and Dave East.
Finally, we keep some songs in rotation from Kevin Gates, Stunna 4 Vegas and Lil Wayne, because they have that adrenaline boost you need to get you through your last set.
The Perfect Gym Playlist
We’re debuting a brand new playlist to add to our growing Spotify catalogue.
Our Spotify playlist selection continues to grow. With FIRE EMOJI, On the Come Up and R&B SEASON in full swing, we’re debuting a brand new addition that will help soundtrack your fitness routine.
The first official edition of the (Get) FitOrDie (Trying) Gym playlist includes artists like Stunna 4 Vegas, Mac Miller, Travis Scott and DaBabby. This playlist series is designed specifically for your workout, but it is not exclusively filled with high-tempo tracks. The 2 hour playlist features energetic songs like Stunna 4 Vegas’ “ON FYE” and Stormzy’s “Audacity” but also feel-good songs like Roddy Ricch‘s “The Box” and Mac Miller’s “Blue Word.”
We start the playlist off with Lil Uzi Vert’s “Futsal Shuffle 2020,” which may be considered an “older” song at this point, but one that continues to grow on us. This hip-hop-dominated mix of new and older songs will keep you entertained and stimulated through out your work out, even if you’re not working out for the full two hours.
Finally, we had to put a couple tracks from the new Lil Wayne album, Funeral, sprinkled through out the playlist.
What are your favourite songs for a work out session? Drop them in the comments, we’ll be updating this playlist and sharing it every Monday morning, weekly.
