Headlines over the past week have been rather bizarre and extremely tragic, but this past Sunday (Jan. 26), a group of New Yorkers restored a little bit of faith in the world when they came together to helped free a woman pinned under a vehicle. The New York Daily News was able to obtain a report from the NYPD stating that a 65-year-old woman in a Mercedes SUV struck a 25-year-old woman after making a right turn at an intersection in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.
The accident caused the pedestrian that was hit by the SUV to be trapped under the vehicle unable to free herself from her unfortunate disposition. Fortunately, multiple bystanders that witnessed the accident stepped up, gently lifted the vehicle, and helped the young escape from underneath the car.
The nearby-New Yorkers were able to keep the 25-year-old calm until authorities arrived on the scene. While under the care of the firemen who arrived at the scene, the woman was seen visibly conscious and on her phone. She was later transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries including abrasions and bruising.
As for the 65-year-old SUV driver, she will have to appear in court for failing to yield at an intersection. Thank the powers that be for all parties being able to leave this unfortunate accident with their lives and shout to the pedestrians that came together to help another patron in need.
Check out the clip of the bystanders lifting the vehicle off of the young woman in the video provided below.
YG’s 2019 SUV Murder Case Is On The Brink Of Being Solved By L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept.
The case involving a high-speed chase that resulted in a deadly police shootout involving an Escalade registered to YG will soon come to a close.
YG almost got caught up in a major Grand Theft Auto-style situation last year when a SUV registered to him was involved in a high speed chase through Los Angeles that resulted in the death of an innocent bystander. Now, it looks like the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department will soon be closing the case altogether.
The Still Brazy emcee was cleared in this Independence Day shootout fiasco after it was determined that he was nowhere near the scene of the crime and had zero knowledge of the events going down. He told TMZ exclusively at the time, “I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood. I was there until after midnight on the Fourth of July and didn’t learn of these events until after they happened.” The situation got so serious that police even raided YG’s home in Hollywood Hills, which thankfully didn’t result in any charges for the Compton-bred rapper.

As the story goes, YG’s black Cadillac Escalade somehow ended up in the possession of a reckless DUI suspect. LAPD was called to apprehend the person and it eventually led to a chase through the City of Angels. A 65-year old man was sadly killed at the scene.
Although the L.A. Sheriff’s deputies are close to cracking the case, they still need people to come forward to fill in the missing pieces. Here’s the number for anyone that wants to help: 323 890-5500. Oh, and before you start with the “snitching!” talk, just remember someone died as a result of this whole ordeal.
