Taylor Swift fired back at Donald Trump after he posted a horrifying tweet seemingly threatening violence on the protestors in Minneapolis in the wake of George Floyd's murder. On Thursday (May 28th), the third day of the protests fighting for justice in George Floyd's death, the President of the United States sent out some tweets in regards to the looting and rioting occurring.
"I can’t stand back & watch this happen to a great American City, Minneapolis," he wrote. "A total lack of leadership. Either the very weak Radical Left Mayor, Jacob Frey, get his act together and bring the City under control, or I will send in the National Guard & get the job done right....." However, it was his follow-up tweet, which has since been hidden for violating Twitter's rules against “glorifying violence," that sparked immense fear and outrage among protestors and Americans as a whole. "These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen," he said. "Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!"
His remarks, in particular the statement "when the looting starts, the shooting starts," stunned many, as it appeared that the president had just given the green light to enact violence on the American people while they were protesting violence against Black folks by law enforcement.
One somewhat surprising response that's been making waves came from the formerly politically silent Taylor Swift, who tweeted directly at Trump and vowed to vote him out of office for his racism and incompetence. "After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence?" she wrote. "‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump."
6ix9ine’s "GOOBA" Becomes Fastest Video To Reach 100 Million Views On Youtube
Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “GOOBA” just became the fastest video by an American artist to reach 100 million views on Youtube, beating Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande.
Whether we like it or not, 6ix9ine’s comeback era has been breaking records left and right. The troublemaking rapper made his return to the music scene last Friday (May 8th) by releasing his first post-prison single, “GOOBA,” with some colourful accompanying visuals. The music video already beat Eminem’s previously set record for the hip hop video with the most views in 24 hours in Youtube history, and now, 6ix9ine has accomplished a similar view-related feat, beating out pop princesses Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande on the way.
On Wednesday (May 13th), it was announced that “GOOBA” had officially become the fastest video by an American artist to garner 100 million views on Youtube. “GOOBA” racked up the impressive amount of views in a mere 71 hours, destroying Ariana Grande’s “thank u next” and Taylor Swift’s “ME!” featuring Brendon Urie. Ari and Taylor’s videos were in a tight match having both obtained 100 million views by the middle of their fourth days, but neither hold the top spot any longer.

The only artists who have ever managed to reach this milestone faster than 6ix9ine are all international acts from Korea. K-pop boyband BTS had the quickest video to hit this marker—taking less than two days—with their Halsey-featured “Boys With Luv” visuals. Fellow K-pop group BLACKPINK and solo K-Pop artist, Psy, hit 100 million early on in their third days, with their “KILL THIS LOVE” and “Gentleman” videos, respectively.
50 Cent Has Violent Reaction To Mural Of Himself As Taylor Swift
When 50 Cent saw that the latest mash-up mural to feature his likeness had depicted him as Taylor Swift, he vowed to attack the street artist responsible.
50 Cent is getting more and more pissed off (but also more and more intrigued, it seems) with a series of murals in which he’s painted as different public figures. Street artist Lushsux, known for painting various celebrities as other celebrities to produce comedic results, has been on a bit of a 50-streak lately, painting Fif as Tekashi 6ix9ine, Donald Trump, and Post Malone, to name a few. Earlier this week, he mashed up 50 Cent with former Communist leader of China, Mao Zedung, although Fif mistook him for Kim Jong Un. Now, Lushsux has continued “50 week”—which he’s considering turning into “50 month”—with a new mural, and Fif’s really starting to lose it.
“Man look at this sh*t,” he wrote on the photo of “Swifty Cent,” along with an angry face emoji. “TF is wrong with this guy he won’t stop.” He also posted a video of Lushsux creating the work of art, threatening to jump him.
“Swifty cent i’d like to hit this MF right in the back of his head while he doing this sh*t,” he wrote. Prior to this depiction of Fif as America’s former sweetheart, Lushsuxx opted to paint Fif as himself for a change, but with one small, outrageous detail.
“Woooowww fiddy with no brim,” the artist wrote on the photo, which shows Fif donning a navy blue Yankees hat with no brim. Fif shared this piece on his Instagram as well, speculating that someone might be paying Lushsuxx to use him as his primary subject.
“He did another one, on live TF is going on,” 50 wrote. “If i find out, ew let me find out somebody paid him to do this.” Lushsuxx later denied that he’d been hired to do these murals of Fif.
Who should he paint 50 Cent as next?
Drake & Tory Lanez Reportedly Set A New IG Live Record
Drake's appearance on Tory Lanez's Quarantine Radio reportedly helped set a new record for the highest number of viewers on an Instagram live session.
The power of Drake apparently cannot be underestimated, as it has been reported that his surprise appearance on Tory Lanez's Quarantine Radio, which garnered a whopping 315,000 viewers at one point, helped break a new IG live record for the most viewers in one session. While the coronavirus pandemic has been forcing everyone to stay inside their homes, Mr. Lanez has been keeping very busy. His launch of Quarantine Radio, in which he goes live on Instagram almost daily, has been keeping his followers, guests, and, most evidently, himself entertained during this strange and scary time. Tory has hosted guests such as 21 Savage, Young Thug, Megan Thee Stallion, Justin Bieber, and many more on Quarantine Radio, but it looks like one guest in particular caused the most excitement for viewers.

During a standard "episode" of Quarantine Radio, a twerk contest would usually break out following the celebrity guest appearance, in which fans request to join the live stream and compete for the non-existent trophy. However, on Tuesday's Quarantine Radio session, Tory surprised everyone with an appearance from one of his most high-profile guests to date, after fans had repeatedly begged him to invite Drake onto the "show."
Almost immediately after Drake joined the livestream, the number of viewers began to rise exponentially. At one point, there were up to 315,000 viewers, which, according to DJ Akademiks, sets a new IG live record. Akademiks asserts that 315K is the highest number he's personally ever seen on a hip-hop-related livestream, the previous record "held by 6ix9ine and Trippie Redd beefing," to his memory.
Michael Rapaport Blasts Kim Kardashian Over Taylor Swift Drama
Michael Rapaport is known for his expletive-riddled rants that he shares with social media, and this time he’s taken aim at the “f*cking lunatic Kardashians.”
Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift were doing just fine on their own with their recent internet spat, but Michael Rapaport just couldn’t hold back on adding his two cents. Recently, the past rift between Kanye West and Swift once again reared its ugly head. The full video of their discussion about his single “Famous” hit the streets, causing Kim and Swift to engage in a war of words on social media.

Kim told the singer “nobody cares” about the controversy any more while Swift, along with her manager, accused the reality star of doctoring previous videos. Soon after, Rapaport shared a video of himself bashing Kim and everything she stands for. “No one cares, okay. Nobody gives a f*ck about this bullsh*t with you and Taylor Swift,” he said. “Or f*cking kooky Kanye and Taylor f*cking Swift—if he never ran up there and took the award from Swifty, we still wouldn’t be talkin’ about it. The only one still talkin’ about it is you.”
The actor then accused Kim of brining this up because “your f*cking show is premiering Thursday.” Rapaport also challenged Kanye to run up on a man the next time he wants to interrupt an award speech. “Do it to the Wu-Tang Clan,” he said. “Or do it to one of those dudes from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. They’ll f*ckin’ dropkick him off the f*cking stage. F*cking lunatic Kardashians.” Watch the clip below.
Taylor Swift’s Publicist Responds To Kanye West & Kim Kardashian
Taylor Swift's publicist releases her original statement on the leaked Kanye West phone call in response to Kim Kardashian.
Could Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian have picked a worse time to rehash their feud over that leaked phone call with Kanye West? Back in 2016, Kanye released a song called "Famous" as part of his The Life Of Pablo album and, on it, he utters the following line:
"I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that bitch famous"
During a leaked phone call from around the time of its release, Kanye West asks if Taylor Swift would be down to share a link to the record on her social media pages, thereby ending their beef and laughing about the entire situation. Unfortunately, things were seriously blown out of proportion (on both sides) and a four-year-long battle has resulted. With responses happening from both Taylor and Kim Kardashian in the last few days, the time has come for Swift's publicist to share her side of the story.

After Kim called out Swift's publicist for lying about the phone call, the singer's representative shared her original statement, which read:
"Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single 'Famous' on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that bitch famous.'"
After all this time, whose side are you taking?
Kim Kardashian Goes Off On Taylor Swift Over Audio: "Nobody Cares"
Kim Kardashian will no longer speak about the rift with Taylor Swift, but she does call the singer a liar in a lengthy social media statement.
The rich and famous are beefin' over old drama. Five years ago, Kanye West and Taylor Swift seemed to have put away their previous hard feelings and were photographed hugging things out at the Grammys. The two artists endured the infamous Video Music Award incident that has gone down in awkward-moments-history and later, Kim Kardashian took to her Snapchat to share clips of Kanye and Taylor speaking about his 2016 song "Famous." Ye used the word "b*tch" when referencing the pop star and after she and her fans spoke out against it, Kim came to her husband's defense with proof that the two artists discussed the song's contents.

Now, the "Famous" drama rears its ugly head once again after the full video audio-visual clip leaked. Swift took to her Instagram Story to address the controversy. "Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years).... SWIPE UP to see what really matters," she said before asking for people to the World Health organization and Feeding America.
Kim expressed her frustration and made it clear that no one illegally recorded Swift or manipulated any footage in a lengthy response. "[Taylor Swift] has chosen to reignite an old exchange - that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now," Kim wrote on social media. "I didn’t feel the need to comment a few days ago, and I’m actually really embarrassed and mortified to be doing it right now, but because she continues to speak on it, I feel I’m left without a choice but to respond because she is actually lying."
That wasn't all Kim Kardashian had to say about Taylor Swift:
"To be clear, the only issue I ever had around the situation was that Taylor lied through her publicist who stated that 'Kanye never called to ask for permission...' They clearly spoke so I let you all see that. Nobody ever denied the word 'b*tch' was used without her permission. At the time when they spoke the song had not been fully written yet, but as everyone can see in the video, she manipulated the truth of their actual conversation in her statement when her team said she 'declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.' The lie was never about the word b*tch, It was always whether there was a call or not and the tone of the conversation. I never edited the footage (another lie) - I only posted a few clips on Snapchat to make my point and the full video that recently leaked doesn’t change the narrative. To add, Kanye as an artist has every right to document his musical journey and process, just like she recently did through her documentary. Kanye has documented the making of all of his albums for his personal archive, however has never released any of it for public consumption & the call between the two of them would have remained private or would have gone in the trash had she not lied & forced me to defend him. This will be the last time I speak on this because honestly, nobody cares. Sorry to bore you all with this. I know you are all dealing with more serious and important matters."

Taylor Swift Breaks Silence On Leaked 2016 Kanye West Call
Taylor Swift knows how to throw shade but she also knows how to raise money for some important causes.
Kanye West and Taylor Swift have been feuding for the better part of the last decade after the rapper stormed the stage during her VMA acceptance speech. They later squashed their beef with Taylor presenting the rapper his Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2015 VMAs. But only a few months later, Taylor Swift and Kanye West's feud was rehashed. Kanye's "Famous" sparked a debate surrounding their relationship after his controversial lyrics, even as he claimed that he cleared it with Taylor.

Over the weekend, the full-length conversation between Kanye and Taylor surfaced online which appeared to work in her favor after all. It clearly shows that Kanye omitted the lyrics where he referred to her as a 'bitch' when he contacted her for approval. Taylor took to IG where she leveraged the recent controversy to help raise awareness for a few organizations that she's donated to in wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Instead of answering those who are asking how I feel about the video footage that leaked, proving that I was telling the truth the whole time about *that call* (you know, the one that was illegally recorded, that somebody edited and manipulated in order to frame me and put me, my family, and fans through hell for 4 years).... SWIPE UP to see what really matters," he wrote on her IG story.
Clearly, the truth has set her free. Though it doesn't seem like Kim is too apologetic over it.
Kim K’s Comments Flooded By Taylor Swift Fans After Kanye Call Leaks
After Kanye West and Taylor Swift’s full phone call from 2016 in which they discussed his song, “Famous,” leaked, Taylor’s fans will not leave Kim Kardashian alone.
Taylor Swift‘s fans will not let Kim Kardashian rest after she and Kanye West were exposed for seemingly lying on Taylor back in 2016. The full phone conversation between Kanye and Taylor from four whole years ago—where he explained the bars he planned to spit about her on his song, “Famous”—leaked this weekend, and the newfound footage paints a very different picture of Kim and Kanye’s role in the reignited beef that followed that call. Initially, Kimye had “exposed” Taylor for lying about her knowledge of the song when Kim shared the footage she’d filmed of the phone call in which Kanye can very clearly be heard telling Taylor that he wants to mention her on the Life of Pablo single.

Taylor always maintained that while he did run the lyric “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex” by her, he never told her about the following line—”Why? I made that b*tch famous”—which was the part that offended her. Taylor was labelled a snake and promptly when into hiding when the public turned on her, but now that the full conversation has leaked, it appears that she may have been telling the truth all along. Over the past 24 hours or so, #KanyeWestIsOver has been non-stop trending, and while some are still torn over who is truly at fault here, it’s clear that Taylor’s fans, the Swifties, are going to make Kimye pay for their “crimes.”
While Kanye may not have an Instagram account where Swifties can go off on him in the comments of his posts, Kim, as the most high profile Kardashian, is very active on social media. Kim has only shared one post since the whole ordeal began, but Taylor’s army of supporters have made sure to fill her comment section to capacity. On the throwback shot of Kim and her second oldest child, Saint, Swifties called her and Kanye liars and dragged Kim for her complicity in “ruining” Taylor’s reputation.
“This is a screenshot of Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s. Look at what a little chunk Saint was!” Kim wrote in the caption. “OMG My baby!!!!!! I miss him this small!!!!” While a few of the top comments are positive, the rest of them are not, as plenty of users commented the hashtag, #taylorswifttoldthetruth. “Kimye is so cancelled lmao,” one user wrote. “I have no patience for liars or people who are cruel to others. #boycottkimandkanye,” another stated.

Others alluded to Taylor’s album, Reputation, that references the incident heavily. “I don’t trust nobody and nobody trusts me,” a fan wrote, quoting Taylor’s song “Look What You Made Me Do” off the album. “I’ll be the actress starring in your bad dreams.” One fan even thanked Kim for driving Taylor to make Reputation in the first place. “Girl thanks for Reputation, the best album ever made but you are still going to burn in Hell,” they said. It appears that Kim has been removing a bunch of comments of a similar nature, which she also got called out for. “How many staff do you have to delete comments for you right now?” asked one user. “And deleting all the comments won’t stop people from knowing and remembering the truth,” another wrote. “While it’s nice to have money, it’s better to have a clear mind.” Whew!
Kanye Or Taylor?: Internet Debates Who The Real Snake Is
After Kanye West and Taylor Swift's full phone call in 2016 about his controversial "Famous" lyrics leaked, the Internet is arguing over who was really in the wrong.
When the full phone conversation between Kanye West and Taylor Swift from 2016, in which he told her about his plans to namedrop her in his then-unreleased song, "Famous," recently leaked, the Internet went into a frenzy. The extended footage of the call, filmed by Kim Kardashian, puts forward some new evidence in Taylor's favour, seemingly proving that she never lied about what Kanye did and didn't tell her about what would be included in the song.
Larry Busacca/Getty Images for NARAS
Way back then, Taylor inferred she was offended by Kanye rapping, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/Why? I made that b*tch famous" on "Famous," and Kim proceeded to expose her for lying by releasing a snippet of the phone call, where Kanye can be heard giving Taylor a heads up about mentioning her in the song. Taylor always maintained that she was aware of the "sex" line but not the "b*tch" line, and this newfound clip seems to support that claim.
The leaked footage has got the Internet divided, with #KanyeWestIsOverParty trending on Twitter as a result. Swifties are purporting Taylor's innocence, Kanye fans are insisting that the clip proves nothing, and everyone else is attempting to approach the situation rationally. On the one hand, some feel that the full conversation proves that Taylor told the truth from the beginning: she was only ever told about the "sex" line.
