Tekashi 6ix9ine May Have Paid Magix Enga $900 To Solve His ‘GOOBA’ YouTube Problem
Last week, Tekashi 6ix9ine's track "GOOBA", which broke all sorts of YouTube records, was removed briefly removed from YouTube after a copyright claim from Kenyan producer Magix Enga.
According to Enga, his hold was pulled when 6ix9ine offered to pay him money -- money he ultimately didn't accept.
"Some guys called me and they were like, 'You took the song down and we want to pay you and you put the song back as quick as possible ’cause he's Tekashi,'" Magix Enga told RapTV. "And I was like, 'OK. So, how much do you offer?' And the guys, they say they want to offer 100 Gs, which is $100,000 Kenyan money. [Which is about $940 USD.] And I was like...I was 50/50 about that, but I decided to forgive the guy and take the money, but the next day I was like, hm...I need the credit. So, yesterday, I refunded the money."
6ix9ine's team is calling cap on it all.
If "GOOBA" disappears again, you know why."We investigated this claim and found that it was fraudulent," 6ix9ine's lawyers told XXL. "No monetary settlement was offered by anyone in our camp."
Is Kevin Gates Taking a Shot At Tekashi 6ix9ine?
Is Kevin Gates, who stoically did his time, feeling a type of way about the record-breaking success of Tekashi 6ix9ine?
A tweet the Baton Rouge spitter fired out seems like it could have been directed to 6ix9ine, who notoriously sang for his freedom and has been bragging about being a snitch ever since COVID got him that freedom a little early.
When you entertain a clown ? you become part of the circus!!!! #Healing
— Kevin Gates (@iamkevingates) May 10, 2020
"When you entertain a clown you become part of the circus!!!! #Healing," Gates wrote, with the clown emoji 6ix9ine has adopted as his own.
The #healing suggests the message could just be Gates engaging in the type of self-help motivation he's prone to engage in.
What do you think? Was the timing of the Tweet just a coincidence? While he's no 6ix9ine, Gates has engaged in some pretty clownish antics of his own over the years.
Snippet Of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s First Track Since Prison "Bently" Drops
The word is Tekashi 6ix9ine has been hard at work on music since getting his COVID-19-related early release last month.
A snippet of a new Tekashi track called "Bently" has leaked.
In addition to recording music, 6ix9ine has been a shopping spree, buying millions in exotic cars. According to TMZ, his shiny new rides include a Lambo Aventador, McLaren, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes Benz G-Wagon, and a Range Rover.
No word on whether he plans on adding a "Bentley" to the fleet.
What do you think of "Bently."
BlocBoy JB Comes For Tekashi 6ix9ine
Ever since Tekashi 6ix9ine was released a few weeks ago on COVID concerns, the troll rapper has been enjoying his house arrest by recording music and buying a fleet of luxury cars.
Even if he wasn't confined to his home, 6ix9ine would have a gentle re-introduction to a culture that doesn't tolerate snitching since that entire culture is currently being told to shelter-in-place.
BlocBoy JB wants to shake that up a bit. The notorious clout chaser took a gratuitous shot at Snitch9 on Twitter.
6ix9ine Can Change His Name To 9ine 6ix He Still Snitched
— BlocBoy JB (@BlocBoy_JB) April 18, 2020
6ix9ine Can Change His Name To 9ine 6ix He Still Snitched," BlocBoy taunted.
Since 6ix9ine has been embracing his snitch status he probably doesn't mind. In fact, given BlocBoy's criminal tendencies, he should probably tread lighly.
50 Cent Reacts To Tekashi 6ix9ine Coming Home By Lashing Out At "Informant" Jim Jones
It's a decent bet that Tekashi 6ix9ine will be coming home this evening thanks to the Coronavirus concerns that are getting prisoners all over the country their early release.
50 Cent quickly commented on the news his "son" will be coming home by bringing up Jim Jones, who 50 Cent thinks snitched just as hard as Tekashi did.
"Now associate1 ya gonna have to tell everybody how you were on tape in court on the phone coaching Mel,to super duper violate shorty but the Feds never picked you up because you are doing your job Confidential informant," 50 typed.
Jim Jones was notoriously never charged in the racketeering case 6ix9ine made famous even though he was caught on tape telling Tr3way boss (and former Byrd Gang member) Mel Murda to have Shotti violate 6ix9ine.
"He not even a gang member no more,"Jones said during a conversation the Feds recorded.. "That's what Shotti need to make sure he do. Tell that n**** he's not a gang member anymore ... He better get to violating. He better stalk shorty every move. One of them security better get hit. Something better happen. "
Fif likes to joke around with Jones. But calling Capo a snitch is no joke.
