Tom Brady hasn't been having a very good free agency period thus far. Had we said that five or 10 years ago, it would have been unbelievable. Now, however, Brady will be 43 when the season starts and he is on a steep decline. Despite winning six Super Bowls, his value is significantly less than what it used to be. With this in mind, teams like the Tennessee Titans and San Francisco 49ers have passed Brady up in favor of quarterback with significantly less accomplishments.
One man who is upset about all of this is none other than Stephen A. Smith of First Take. The host took to the airwaves today where he bashed teams and analysts who have left Brady behind and are acting as though he is some kind of scrub.
As Smith explains, Brady played with questionable talent last season and that's why the Patriots were a first-round exit. Smith is adamant that Brady can still win a championship and that he is much better than someone like Ryan Tannehill who only has one good season under his belt. Regardless of Smith's points, it doesn't take away from the fact that it's quiet out here for Brady these days.

Ryan Tannehill Signs $118M Contract With The Titans: Twitter Reacts
Ryan Tannehill secured a $118 million bag and Twitter hilariously reacted.
Last season, the Tennessee Titans shocked the world as Ryan Tannehill led the football franchise all the way to the AFC Championship game against the eventual Super Bowl champion, Kansas City Chiefs. Now, the 31-year-old quarterback is being rewarded for his efforts signing a four-year contract with the Titans worth $118 million. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Tannehill will receive $91 million in guarantees while $62 million of his contract is fully guaranteed payment. This contract has the Texas-bred quarterback raking in approximately $29.5 million per year.

After being drafted 8th overall in the 2012 NFL Draft, by the Miami Dolphins and spending the first seven years of his NFL career in Florida, he was abruptly traded to the Tennesse Titans in March 2019 for multiple draft picks. Fortunately for Tannehill, the Titans had developed a solid offensive line and provided him with running support in the form of the monstrous 6'3, 238lb running back, Derrick Henry. With all of these tools in place Ryan Tannehill was able to top the league in quarterback passer rating (117.5), earn the Comeback Player of the Year Award, and earn his first Pro Bowl nomination.
The former Texas A&M Aggie somewhat broke the news today his Twitter account.
And like clockwork, once Twitter caught wind of Tannehill's bank-breaking new contract, they came with the jokes for the Titans' QB. Check out some of the best ones below:
With Ryan Tannehill receiving his big payday from the Tennessee Titans, the future of Tom Brady has become ten-times more interesting, being that the Titans were aggressively pursuing the 6x Super Bowl Champion just weeks ago. With heavy-hitting quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, and Lamar Jackson having impending contract negotiations on the way, seeing Tannehill secure a bag of this magnitude, is a good sign for players of their caliber.
With that said, congratulations to Ryan Tannehill on signing a $118 million contract and check out some of his best highlights from the 2019-2020 NFL season in the video provided below.
Tom Brady To Titans Theory Could Be Out The Window
Tom Brady’s free agency plans are the most talked-about story in sports.
Tom Brady is a legendary NFL quarterback and for the first time in his storied career, he will become a free agent. Starting next season, he will be 43 years old but that hasn’t stopped teams from wanting him. Some believe he is still an elite quarterback and could be of great value to a team looking to make the leap into the playoffs.
One of the teams that have been thrown around as of late is the Tennessee Titans. Brady was on a FaceTime call with head coach Mike Vrabel and some think he could be a great option for the team moving forward. Despite this, it’s being reported by CBS that the Titans are going all-in on trying to re-sign Ryan Tannehill.
In fact, Vrabel recently spoke about his call with Brady and says it was simply out of friendship.

“My relationship with Tom Brady goes back to 2011 training camp at Rhode Island,” Vrabel said. “We’d go to practice and a bunch of us would go out and that’s where a lot of those friendships were made. Those friendships aren’t going to stop or not continue to grow and develop now that I’m a head coach and he’s a quarterback with an expiring contract. Those are going to continue on well after we’re done playing with his family and my family.”
Stay tuned for updates on Brady’s free agency window as we will be sure to bring you all of the latest information.
Tom Brady Sweepstakes: One Team Is "Fully Investigating" A Signing
Tom Brady is heading into March as an NFL free agent for the first time in his career.
Tom Brady has consistently been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL over the last 20 seasons. He has won a total of six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and when all is said and done, he will most likely be heralded as one of the best athletes ever. This spring, Brady has found himself in a new position. Yes, that’s right, this year Brady is a free agent. Now, he can play with whomever he wants. There have been various rumors that he no longer wants to play for the Patriots and that the Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders are the frontrunners.
In a report from Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, it appears as though the Titans are very serious about getting Brady on the roster. Before they do that, they will have to figure out what to do with Ryan Tannehill, you played lights out in the final stretch of the season.

Per Sports Illustrated:
“The Titans’ situation is a little more complicated—the idea of bringing Ryan Tannehill back in 2020 really does appeal to them, and they need to make a decision on tagging him before March 12—but they’re fully investigating the possibility to reuniting Brady with his buddy Mike Vrabel.”

Tom Brady Free Agency: New Team Emerges As Favorites To Sign Him
Tom Brady has a big decision to make next month.
Tom Brady will be a free agent for the first time in his career, starting next month. For the last 20 years, Brady has played for the New England Patriots and has won six championships in the process. Brady is highly regarded as one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game and at 42 years old, some feel as though he still has what it takes to lead a championship-winning team. With this in mind, Brady has a huge decision to make: stay with the Patriots or go somewhere else.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Tennessee Titans have become a major threat to land the superstar quarterback. Despite Ryan Tannehill's phenomenal play last season, the Titans are interested in an upgrade and think Brady would be a great fit. From there, the Las Vegas Raiders are also a real possibility.
"I mean I always thought this was possible but I got even more of a hint that it’s more possible. Jeff Darlington basically … I mean, handicapped the Titans as the favorite right now. Which I was like, ‘Whoa. OK. I knew that Tennessee was an option,’ but he made it out to be more of an option than I realized it to be," Schefter said. "And in his mind, to rank the teams right now, would be Tennessee, Las Vegas, and New England.”
If you're a New England Patriots fan, this news should be quite concerning especially when you consider how important the quarterback is to the franchise. Only time will tell whether or not Brady decides to move on to someone new.
Ranking The Top 10 Best Super Bowls Of All Time
Some of these may bring back bad memories.
This weekend, the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will be battling it out in Miami as they try to win the coveted Lombardi Trophy. The 54th Super Bowl is set to be a phenomenal game between two teams that completely dominated the NFL regular and postseasons. While it remains to be seen who will win, we’re sure to be treated to an entertaining game, unlike that mess we got last year.
There are a lot of factors that go into what makes a good Super Bowl. You need intrigue, a game that goes down to the wire, big plays, otherworldly individual performances, and even some upsets to throw a wrench in the mix. With this in mind, we decided to make a top 10 list, counting down the ten best Super Bowls of all-time. When constructing this list, entertainment was certainly a factor, however, it’s not the be-all, end-all. Instead, we have used the criteria above to construct a top 10 that takes a look at all of the moving parts. Having said that, let’s get into it, shall we.
10. Super Bowl LII – Philadelphia Eagles 41, New England Patriots 33
Coming into this Super Bowl, the Eagles were clear underdogs. The Patriots came into this match as one of the greatest dynasties of all-time while the Eagles were playing with an unproven back up quarterback in Nick Foles. Somehow, the Eagles defied all expectations and defeated the Patriots in a 41-33 shootout. This game was defined by the infamous Philly Special that occurred at the end of the first half. For Eagles fans, this was a momentous occasion as the team finally won its first Super Bowl.
9. Super Bowl XLVII – Baltimore Ravens 34, San Francisco 49ers 31
There were plenty of stories to go around in this game. Jim and John Harbaugh were coaching against each other. Colin Kaepernick was looking to cement himself as a starter while Joe Flacco wanted to prove he was truly elite. Meanwhile, Ray Lewis was looking to end his career with one last hoorah. In the end, we got a huge treat for a game. After taking a huge lead in the first half, the Ravens began to implode. A lengthy power outage gave the 49ers plenty of time to prepare for a comeback. Eventually, the Ravens were able to hang onto the lead, with some help from the officials.
8. Super Bowl XXXII – Denver Broncos 31, Green Bay Packers 24
John Elway Vs. Brett Favre. This was a quarterback matchup for the ages. Favre had already won a Super Bowl by this point while Elway was known for losing in the big game. The Broncos legend was nearing the end of his career and was looking to finally get the weight off of his shoulders. Elway put together an incredible performance capped off by a valiant running effort to get a first down when the game was on the line. His performance will forever be considered one of the best in Super Bowl history. Not to mention, this win kicked off back-to-back Super Bowls for the Broncos.
7. Super Bowl XLIII – Pittsburgh Steelers 27, Arizona Cardinals 23
There were two moments that made this game so memorable. Of course, we are talking about the James Harrison 100-yard pick-six and the Santonio Holmes catch in the corner of the end zone. These two plays helped propel the Steelers to their sixth Super Bowl victory. Ben Roethlisberger won his second title of his young career which instantly made him one of the most successful quarterbacks of the decade. This was also the first and only time the Arizona Cardinals had made the Super Bowl which made it extra special.
6. Super Bowl XLIX – New England Patriots 28, Seattle Seahawks 24
This game is memorable because of the final play. I mean, who can really forget it? “The Seahawks should have ran the ball” became a rallying cry that is still said to this day. After a questionable first half, Tom Brady led a huge second half comeback that had the Patriots leading late in the game. In the final minutes, Russell Wilson and company began driving down the field and were just yards away from a game-winning touchdown. Instead of giving the ball to running back Marshawn Lynch, Wilson threw an interception in the end zone and the rest was history. The finale was spectacular and made for one of the best Super Bowls in modern day history.
5. Super Bowl III – New York Jets 16, Baltimore Colts 7
Many of you reading this probably weren’t even alive for this game. Hell, I wasn’t either. The score itself is fairly meager and in terms of pure entertainment value, it’s definitely not the greatest. With this in mind, you may be asking why this is even on the list to begin with? Well, it’s one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history. Joe Namath was considered a young QB with a big mouth. Meanwhile, Johnny Unitas was a behemoth of a quarterback and was favored to win by a significant margin. Somehow, Namath led his team to victory in what would become a career-defining moment. Jets fans haven’t had a lot to cheer for over the years but at least they can cling to Super Bowl III.
4. Super Bowl XXXIV – St. Louis Rams 23, Tennessee Titans 16
The sight of Kevin Dyson being tackled on the one-yard line with no time left will always haunt Tennessee Titans fans. It’s a moment that will forever be one of the best in Super Bowl history as the Rams won their first title. Sure, the game itself wasn’t anything spectacular but this one play made it one of the best championship games in sports history. Leading up to this game, the Titans got lucky with the Music City Miracle while the Rams were enjoying the success of young quarterback Kurt Warner. These were two teams few people saw going to the Super Bowl and it made the matchup that much more intriguing.
3. Super Bowl XIII – Pittsburgh Steelers 35, Dallas Cowboys 31
Fumbled punt returns, dropped touchdown passes, and back and forth offensive performances made this game an instant classic. The Cowboys were led by Roger Staubach while the Steelers were captained by Terry Bradshaw. Bradshaw put on a show as he went on to win Super Bowl MVP. At the time, the Cowboys and Steelers were two of the best franchises in the league and every single time they hit the field, it was box office. Cowboys vs Steelers was like the Lakers vs Celtics of the 80s. If you were around for this era, you could truly appreciate what this game meant for the rivalry and the NFL’s stranglehold on popular culture.
2. Super Bowl LI – New England Patriots 34, Atlanta Falcons 28
28-3. Quite frankly, that is all that needs to be said. We still can’t believe the Falcons blew that lead.
1. Super Bowl XLII – New York Giants 17, New England Patriots 14
Pretty well everyone in the world thought the New England Patriots were going to win this game. They finished the season with the first ever 16-0 record in NFL history and were trying to have the best perfect record the league has ever seen. Tom Brady was on the cusp of tying Joe Montana for four Super Bowls. In the end, the Giants were able to put on a defensive clinic. The game was capped off by one of the most incredible catches in NFL history, courtesy of Davis Tyree. Plaxico Burress scored the final touchdown and Eli Manning got his first ever Super Bowl. This was one of the biggest upsets in sports history and it remains a sore spot for Patriots fans, despite their six other Super Bowl wins.

NFL Championship Weekend: Predicting Who Is Super Bowl Bound
The second to last weekend of football is upon us.
January is the most wonderful time of the year if you’re a football fan. The month is filled with playoff games and intriguing matchups that determine which teams will be going to the Super Bowl. Of course, the Super Bowl is in February but the bulk of the games are in January which ultimately makes it a special month. The first two weekends in January were particularly entertaining this year as we were graced with some incredible Wild-Card and Divisional round performances. Last weekend provided us with some especially juicy drama as the best team in the league, the Baltimore Ravens, were bested by a seemingly inferior Tennessee Titans squad. Meanwhile, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes shocked football fans with a 51-point outing against the Houston Texans. Oh, and did we mention the Chiefs were down 24-0 in that game?
Heading into championship weekend, four teams remain. These squads are the Titans, Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers. What makes this season so incredible, is that we truly have no idea who the frontrunner is. The playoffs are as wide open as they’ve ever been and it’s made for one of the most entertaining postseasons we’ve had in years. Two weekends from now, two of the four aforementioned teams will be vying for the Super Bowl. In this preview, we will be trying to predict who those teams will be.
Disclaimer: We are 6-2 with our picks so far and two of those losses were unforeseen upsets. Needless to say, we’re pretty good.
AFC Championship: Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs
Brett Carlsen/Getty Images
Earlier this season, the Kansas City Chiefs were struggling to get any momentum going with their defense. Patrick Mahomes was coming off of a dislocated kneecap and what was thought to be an up and coming team, was looking like pretenders. In the tenth game of the season, the Chiefs lost to a surging Tennessee Titans team by a score of 35-32. Following that game, the Chiefs went on a six-game winning streak and now, they find themselves a win away from a Super Bowl. The only team in their way is, as fate would have it, the Titans.
The Titans have been quite the story themselves. They were down and out at the beginning of the season but once they benched Marcus Mariota, things started to turn around. Ryan Tannehill magically turned into an MVP-caliber quarterback while running back Derrick Henry turned into a bonafide star. After squeaking into the playoffs, the Titans made the most of their opportunity. They knocked off the greatest dynasty of our time, the New England Patriots, while also defeating the league-best Baltimore Ravens.
Both teams have had an interesting path to this moment and it will certainly make for an interesting matchup. Now the real question is: who is going to win? Well, the Titans won the first game so you can’t write them off just yet. However, it’s pretty clear that one team is much better than the other, at least on paper. Of course, we’re talking about the Chiefs. Simply put, the Chiefs have all of the offensive weapons in the world. Ever since his knee injury, Mahomes has been the MVP quarterback we know him to be. He scored five touchdowns against the Texans last weekend and he’ll be looking to have yet another big game. Players like Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, and Travis Kelce are poised for big games and their speed will prove to be too much for the Titans secondary. Even running back Damien Williams has been active which means the Titans defense needs to watch out.
As for the Titans, their offense has been dominated by Henry. In the last two games, Tannehill has thrown for less than 100 yards as the team relies on Henry’s ability to run out the clock. While the strategy seems to be working, it only makes sense when you’re winning. If the Titans find themselves in a hole early, Henry alone won’t help this team win. What helps the Titans is the Chiefs’ weak rushing defense. Had the Texans run the ball more last weekend, they probably wouldn’t have given up their big lead so soon. Henry is more than capable of eating up time and taking a chunk out of the Chiefs defense. Having said that, it’s a strategy that won’t be effective enough to counter Mahomes who can score whenever he feels like it.
Thanks to Henry and Tannehill’s ability to go deep every once and a while, the Titans will keep it close. Despite this, the Chiefs are just too much to overcome and after the AFC Championship game last year, the Chiefs will be ready to come through and punch their ticket to the big game.
Winner: Chiefs (31-24)
NFC Championship: Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers
Dylan Buell/Getty Images
Coming into this season, the Green Bay Packers were considered to be down and out. Aaron Rodgers has started his decline and after last season, he appeared, dare I say it, uncoachable. Head coach Matt LaFleur wasn’t given much of a chance to succeed and the team as a whole was thought to be among the weakest in the NFC North. Rodgers and company went on to exceed all expectations and finished atop their division with a record of 13-3. After a convincing win in the Divisional Round, the Packers have proved themselves as a real contender.
After a disastrous 2018 campaign, the San Francisco 49ers have come back with a vengeance thanks to quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and a plethora of talented running backs. Not to mention, the 49ers defense has been lights out and is virtually impossible to get going against, unless you’re the New Orleans Saints. The 49ers dominated their division and ended up finishing the season with a 13-3 record. Last weekend, the 49ers beat the Minnesota Vikings 27-10 in the Divisional round and they are looking like one of the most likely teams to go out and win the Lombardi trophy.
Earlier in the season, these two played and it wasn’t even close. The 49ers won by a score of 37-8 and Rodgers looked downright anemic. This time around, the game will certainly be closer as the Packers will be looking to prove themselves against the clear favorite. Heading into this one, the 49ers are 7.5 point favorites and not many fans are giving the Packers a chance. In terms of the matchup, it’s fairly obvious the 49ers have the advantage. Sure, Rodgers is a better QB than Garoppolo but its the pieces around the QB’s that makes all the difference. Running backs like Raheem Mostert, Tevin Coleman, and Matt Preida have helped turn the 49ers offense into a powerhouse. Add the playcalling of head coach Kyle Shanahan into the mix and you have yourself an unstoppable force. The Packers struggled to stop them the first time out and the second time will prove to be difficult, as well.
The Packers certainly have significant weapons as well. Devante Adams has been a dynamic route runner for the Packers while Jimmy Graham can provide some clutch plays when it matters. Running back Aaron Jones has also been an x-factor for the team and if the Packers get an early lead, look for them to utilize Jones for the majority of the game. While these pieces are significant, they will be in for a tough time against defensive juggernauts like Nick Bosa, Dee Ford, and Richard Sherman. The 49ers proved to be the hardest team the Packers played against this year and Sunday is going to be even harder since so much will be on the line.
Unlike the previous matchup, this game will be somewhat close but expect the 49ers to come out on top. Rodgers certainly has the ability to prove us wrong but at this point in the season, it’s hard to deny everything the Niners have been able to accomplish.
Winner: 49ers (28-20)

NFL Divisional Round: Predicting The Winner Of Every Match
This weekend is about to be interesting.
Last weekend’s Wild-Card round was easily one of the best weekends of playoff football we have seen in a long time. The weekend was kicked off with a thrilling overtime game between the Buffalo Bills and Houston Texans. From there, we were blessed with a huge upset as the Tennessee Titans, propelled by Derrick Henry, knocked off the defending champion New England Patriots. On Sunday, more upsets were had as the Minnesota Vikings defeated the formidable New Orleans Saints in yet another overtime blockbuster matchup. The final game of the weekend wasn’t as dramatic as the other three although the Seattle Seahawks showed everyone why they’re so hard to beat when the games mean something.
Now, we are in the Divisional Round which means the stakes are even higher. Whoever wins will punch their ticket into their respective conference’s championship game. From there, they will compete for a spot in the Super Bowl where the Lombardi trophy will be on the line. There are some phenomenal matchups this weekend and we’re here to predict who’s going to come away victorious.
Minnesota Vikings @ San Francisco 49ers
Alika Jenner/Getty Images
The Vikings were one of the most surprising teams of the Wild-Card round as quarterback Kirk Cousins and company upset Drew Brees and the Saints. Most fans would tell you they had the Saints winning that game simply because the Saints offense is too much to handle. In the end, the Vikings defense was up to the task and did an incredible job stifling some of the Saints’ biggest playmakers. Meanwhile, the San Francisco 49ers were one of this season’s biggest surprises as they finished the year with a record of 13-3 and even won the number one seed in the NFC.
Once you get to the Divisional Round, stats are pretty well thrown out the window. What these matches come down to is talent and who can perform in the biggest moment. Both of these teams have unproven quarterbacks which makes the matchup that much more interesting. Cousins proved his worth by winning a playoff game last weekend although it remains to be seen whether or not he can continue that success. As for Jimmy Garoppolo, he will be making his playoff debut on Saturday and the pressure is on. Cousins has better weapons at wide receiver whereas Jimmy G mostly relies on his game management skills. On the defensive side of the ball, the 49ers have been nothing short of dominant this year and will surely prove to be the Vikings’ toughest challenge yet. The Vikings have proven themselves to be formidable foes on defense but 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has proven himself to be quite crafty this season. With this in mind, it’s clear the 49ers have an advantage.
Usually, 1 Vs. 6 seeds are easy to predict. This matchup, however, is going to be closer than people think. Regardless, the 49ers have the pieces necessary to make a Super Bowl run and their road to Miami begins this Saturday. Look for Jimmy G and company to pull this one out.
Winner: 49ers (27-17)
Tennessee Titans @ Baltimore Ravens
Jason Miller/Getty Images
Coming into the playoffs, the Baltimore Ravens boast the best record in the NFL as they sit at 14-2. The Ravens were dominant thanks to quarterback Lamar Jackson who is a prime candidate for league MVP. Not to mention, running back Mark Ingram was the perfect complementary piece to Jackson’s dual-threat offense. Overall, the Ravens are a team that can decimate you on both sides of the ball, which puts them in the perfect position to make a deep playoff run. As for the Tennessee Titans, they are a gritty team that squeaked into the playoffs and are on an emotional high after upsetting the Patriots.
When it comes down to it, the Ravens are simply the better team and it’s not particularly close. From top to bottom, the Ravens have the advantage. You can make the argument that Derrick Henry is better than Ingram, however, after his usage from last weekend, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a tired, broken down Henry on the field. The Ravens will be anticipating the run game and are more than equipped to deal with it. As for Titans QB Ryan Tannehill, he just isn’t in the same ballpark as Jackson. He put up pedestrian numbers against the Patriots and the Ravens will prove to be an even tougher test. The Titans run has been fun to watch but it will come to an end on Saturday.
Jackson and his teammates will put on a clinic and run away with it early. Expect a double-digit win for the league’s regular-season champion.
Winner: Ravens (31-14)
Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs
David Eulitt/Getty Images
Perhaps the best game of the weekend will be between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans. Earlier this season, Deshaun Watson and the Texans toppled the Chiefs by a score of 31-24. This game was at the height of the Chiefs’ defensive woes all while QB Patrick Mahomes was dealing with injury woes. Now, the tables have turned as the Chiefs are coming into the playoffs with the number two seed in the AFC and a six-game winning streak.
This matchup is going to come down to one thing: the quarterbacks. Mahomes and Watson are two of the best quarterbacks in the league and have the skill necessary to win a Super Bowl. Mahomes is known as more of a gunslinger while Watson is known for his ability to march offenses down the field and scramble out of the pocket when necessary. Both defenses are going to have a hard time stopping these men and it’s going to make for some interesting television. Both the Texans and Chiefs boast questionable defenses although the Chiefs have vastly improved since these teams last played each other. Watson has the ability to go tit for tat with Mahomes but the latter’s ability to throw 50-yard touchdowns at will could prove to the difference. The Texans barely squeaked by the Bills, whose offense is anemic, to say the least. All things considered, it appears as though the Chiefs have the advantage.
Mahomes is going to be motivated after what happened in last year’s playoffs. Look for him to have a dominant game with three touchdown passes. The Chiefs will win this one narrowly, although as they say, a win is a win.
Winner: Chiefs (24-21)
Seattle Seahawks @ Green Bay Packers
Otto Greule Jr/Getty Images
Of all the games going on this weekend, this could potentially be the hardest to predict. At the end of the day, it’s all going to depend on what version of Aaron Rodgers we see. Rodgers is perhaps the most talented quarterback to ever grace the field, however, he has seen a bit of a decline over the last two seasons and it has started to be quite noticeable. Luckily for the Packers, Rodgers has a solid defense and competent running back for what seems like the first time in his career. The Seahawks have their own issues as the defense and offense are plagued with injuries. Add a weak offensive line to the mix and you’ve got a nightmare scenario for Russell Wilson.
Wilson and rookie wide receiver DK Metcalf combined for 160 yards and a touchdown last week so look for them to be a huge factor on Sunday. Meanwhile, Rodgers and his Packers receivers will be motivated to silence those who think the Packers are pretenders, despite their impressive 13-3 record. For Rodgers, this could very well be a legacy game. He hasn’t been to the Super Bowl since 2011 and many pundits are starting to question his ability to win big games. This is the perfect opportunity for Rodgers to silence the critics and put on a vintage performance. Overall, this game could very well go the distance and result in a last-minute score. It might be a bit of a coin flip but considering the Seahawks’ injuries, the Packers seem to have the advantage.
Let’s face it, we all want to see a Packers vs. 49ers NFC Championship game. All things considered, it looks like we’re on a collision course for that exact matchup.
Winner: Packers (21-17)

Derrick Henry Delivers Expensive Gift To Titans O-Line After Huge Win
Henry is a great teammate.
Derrick Henry had one of the best individual running back performances in recent memory. The Tennessee Titans star tore up the New England Patriots defense last Saturday and helped propel his team to a huge 20-13 upset victory. Henry’s performance was great but he couldn’t have pulled it off without a stout offensive line. Henry is well-aware of that fact and made sure to provide his O-line with some gifts ahead of their Divisional Round match against the Baltimore Ravens.
According to TMZ, Henry hooked up the entire offensive line with expensive Rolex’s. This isn’t the first time a high-profile player has done something similar for his offensive line. After breaking the quarterback rushing record, Lamar Jackson gave his whole O-line some Rolex’s, as well.
Henry will have a huge test ahead of him as he takes on the Ravens. The Ravens are the league’s best team and are expected to make it all the way to the Super Bowl. The Titans have proven to be a formidable foe and if Henry can repeat his heroics from last weekend, the Titans will have a real chance at pulling off a second straight upset.
With these Rolex’s in mind, we’re sure the offensive line will be extra motivated come Saturday night.
NFL Wild Card Weekend: Predicting The Winner Of Every Game
These matchups are about to be fun.
After 17 weeks of high-octane football, the playoffs are finally upon us. Some teams dominated in every facet of the game while others had all-time bad seasons. Regardless of which team you support, there were plenty of reasons to watch football this season and as we head into 2020, there will be even more. This weekend, football fans will be blessed with the Wild Card round which is always one of the most fun weekends of the year. The winners of these games will go on to the Divisional Round where they will play some of the best teams in their respective conferences. There is a lot on the line so you can be sure that every team will be giving it their all.
Heading into this weekend, we’ve decided to take a look at each matchup and give our prediction for who we think is going to come away victorious. Many of these teams have had phenomenal seasons but as is the case in every other team sport, only one squad can be the champion. So without further ado, here is our breakdown of this weekend’s Wild Card games.
Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans
Bob Levey/Getty Images
At the beginning of the season, it was almost unfathomable to think the Buffalo Bills could finish with the same record as the Houston Texans. The Texans were seen as the clear-cut favorite in the AFC South and they were able to live up to that potential thanks to their quarterback, Deshaun Watson. Meanwhile, many pundits had written the Bills off at the beginning of the season, only for them to come through with a surprise season that had them finishing second in the AFC East with a record of 10-6.
On offense, this matchup isn’t very close. The Texans have the 13th ranked offense in the entire league while the Bills are ranked 24th. Quarterback Josh Allen was decent for the Bills this season although his best plays came while running the ball. In terms of overall skill, Watson will prove to be the much more effective quarterback, even if his offensive line tends to leave him high and dry. When it comes to defense, the Bills are the team with a clear advantage. They finished the season ranked 3rd in overall defense and were fourth in pass defense. Meanwhile, the Texans were 28th and 29th in those same categories, respectively.
When you compare the offensive and defensive matchups, it would appear as though the Bills have the advantage. Their defense can stop almost anyone which is more than you can say for the Texans. On paper, the Bills offense should have a much easier time dealing with the Texans defense than vice versa. Despite this, the Texans should win, although it will be close. Watson is due for a big performance and the home crowd will help him get there. As for the Bills, they simply don’t have the experience to close this one out. Overall, this game will be a low scoring fight that could very well end on a last-second drive. In that scenario, the Texans are a lot more trustworthy. When it comes down to it, Allen and company might not be ready for the spotlight. In a few years from now, that could very well change.
Winner: Houston Texans (17-14)
Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots

Of all the games this weekend, this might be the most fun. This matchup is a tale of two teams trending in completely opposite directions. The Patriots finished the year 12-4 although they went 4-4 in their last eight games, including a week-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Ever since benching quarterback Marcus Mariota in favor of Ryan Tannehill, the Titans have been on a tear as their offense has run rampant. If there was any game this weekend that could end in an upset, it would be this one.
As far as defense is concerned, the Patriots are almost impossible to compete with. They had the number one ranked defense all season and were beastly when it came to stopping both aerial and ground attacks. The Titans weren’t as proficient in those categories and finished the season with the 21st ranked defense. Offensively, the Titans proved to be much more effective than their opponents. With the third-ranked rushing offense in the NFL, the Titans proved to be a juggernaut on the ground. Overall, the Titans were ranked 12th in total offense while the Patriots were 15th. These margins don’t seem that big until you realize the Patriots scored most of their points earlier in the season.
Tannehill will have his work cut out for him this weekend. Scoring on this Patriots defense is no easy task although based on his play this season, he appears up to the challenge. As for Brady, he’s going to need to figure out his offense early. The Patriots have been getting off to slow starts as of late and if they do that again on Saturday, they’ll be in big trouble. This Titans team is scary and has built up some impressive wins. When you compare their trajectory to the Patriots, it’s clear that the Titans are in a better position to win. Pulling off an upset victory in Foxboro is never easy but as it stands, the Patriots are in a vulnerable position and the Titans seem more than ready to take advantage.

Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints

If this were a normal season, the New Orleans Saints wouldn’t be playing in the Wild Card round. With a record of 13-3, the Saints were easily one of the best teams in the entire league. Meanwhile, the Vikings had a respectable season at 10-6 although their campaign was plagued by inconsistent play from quarterback Kirk Cousins. Overall, this matchup is bound to provide some intrigue although it shouldn’t be particularly close.
The Saints are arguably one of the most well-balanced teams in the entire NFL. They finished 9th in overall offense and 11th in defense. When it came to stopping the run, the Saints were dominant, finishing 4th in the league. This is significant when you consider how the Vikings had the sixth-best rushing offense. Overall, the Vikings finished 16th and 14th in overall offense and defense, respectively. These middle of the pack numbers are respectable but when you’re going up against a juggernaut like Drew Brees, you need just a little bit more firepower.
After the missed pass interference call last season, the Saints are determined to make it to the Super Bowl. As for Cousins, he tends to crumble under pressure and that’s exactly what the Saints will be feeding off of. Quarterback matchups are extremely important in the postseason and the Saints win this category, easily. Brees is one of the best to ever play the game and as his career comes to an end, he will be more motivated than ever before. Don’t get us wrong. The Vikings have talented players. But the Saints have some of the most reliable stars in the league. If there was one thing you could bank on in this game, it would be a lot of offense from the Saints. While the Vikings might keep it close, early on, the Saints will most likely run away with it in the second half.

Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles

This is one of those matchups that makes you question the NFL playoff system. The Philadelphia Eagles come into this game with a record of 9-7 while the Seattle Seahawks sit at 11-5. Despite having a better record, the Seahawks are playing this game on the road. Why? Well, the Eagles won their division which guarantees them at least one home game. It’s not a perfect system but here we are. Besides, the Seahawks made the playoffs one year with a record of 7-9 because of the same rule. So in the end, it works out.
As far as this game is concerned, stats need to be thrown out the window. Both of these teams are playing injured which means it’s going to come down to a battle of will. The Eagles have had almost zero weapons on offense aside from quarterback Carson Wentz. Meanwhile, the Seahawks are playing with an aging Marshawn Lynch and an unproven Travis Homer. On defense, both the Eagles and Seahawks have their fair share of injuries, as well. If you’re a fan of either of these teams, it’s going to be a hard game to watch. Putting your faith in backups is never easy and this game is sure to see an abundance of unknown talents.
Heading into this matchup, Wentz has very little playoff experience other than watching Nick Foles win the Eagles a championship. As for Wilson, he has been here before and is more than ready to lead his troops on the battlefield. When you go injury to injury, it’s clear the Eagles are in a lot more trouble. Even with a depleted roster, the Seahawks almost beat the San Francisco 49ers which is a testament to their will and desire to win. With all of this being said, look for Seattle to come away with the win. It might no be the prettiest victory but the Seahawks have all of the advantages. Wilson has been a master at pulling off one score victories and Sunday should prove to be no different.
Winner: Seattle Seahawks (21-16)
