Allie’s Donuts, a donut shop located in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, is now being fully operated and staffed full-time by owner Matt Drescher after employees began to receive threats following the store’s announcement that they would no longer offer discounts to police officers.
Drescher shared the news in an Instagram video, where he explained he is now the only one working in the store due to concerns for employee safety. He also explained the abusive comments online came after Drescher made it clear he and his business are against police brutality and systemic racism in the criminal justice system. He said, “Due to all of the unfortunate threats that we've gotten and just the climate that it is, a lot of the employees don't feel safe working here right now," he continued, "I respect their choice, and they're safe at home. Nothing has happened to their job. I'm here right now, have the mixes on the table and I'm going to make as many [donuts] as I can."
The police and military discount is just 10 percent, but the firm stance in solidarity with police brutality victims seemed to have upset many customers.
The company had already previously aligned itself with Black Lives Matter activists, writing in an Instagram post, “We're fed up. Until local police take action to solve problems with racism and injustice, Allie's Donuts will choose to stand with the people of our great state."
Conor McGregor Sends Vicious Threats At Justin Gaethje
Conor McGregor has a lot to get off his chest these days.
Conor McGregor is easily one of the most outspoken athletes in the entire UFC and recently, he went on an extended rant on Twitter about Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje. For some backstory, Gaethje has been clamoring for a McGregor fight for years although Conor has refused to acknowledge him. Over the weekend, Gaethje defeated Tony Ferguson and will now get a shot at the title against Khabib. This has angered McGregor who has wanted a rematch with the Dagestanian for the last two years.
In his rant, McGregor promises that Khabib will chicken out of his fight with Gaethje and that the American will end up fighting Conor at a date to be determined. In fact, McGregor is now sending some threats Gaethje's way, noting that he will absolutely destroy the most recent UFC 249 winner. McGregor even seems to be holding a grudge from the time Gaethje told him he was a bad dad.
"I am going to fucking butcher you," McGregor wrote. "Your teeth. I’m going to put them on a fucking necklace. Speak on my skills as a father? You are fucking dead."
McGregor also went on to call Khabib an embarrassment for the way he is always ducking fights. It's clear that McGregor has an axe to grind and only a fight will be able to settle his differences.
600 Breezy Denies Offering To Put Hit On Nicki Minaj’s Husband Kenneth Petty
Twitter fingers.
In the latest episode of "It Wasn't Me," 600 Breezy is denying accusations that he offered to put out some sort of hit on Nicki Minaj's husband. The world zoomed in on Twitter on Wednesday (February 5) as Nicki Minaj and her ex-boyfriend Meek Mill engaged in a heated internet tiff. The pair—who haven't been together for years—traded shocking accusations as she claims he's an abuser and he fired shots that not only did she pay for her convicted sex offender brother's legal team, but she also knew that he was sexually abusing his stepdaughter.

Nicki would later say call the exchange regrettable, but by that time the screenshots had circulated hundreds of thousands of times. In the fray, Sky Days's ex-boyfriend and rapper 600 Breezy reportedly added in his two cents. "Aye Meek for a small fee I kno some n*ggas that'll make her a widow. I'm just the messenger," a tweet from 600 Breezy's Twitter account reportedly stated.
People were quick to claim that Breezy seemed as if he was offering to set up some sort of hit on Kenneth Petty, but HipHopDX reports that 600 Breezy denies he sent the tweet. "I don't even have access to my twitter," the outlet claims Breezy wrote on his Instagram Story. "Idk who tf that is."
With a verified account that boasts over 100K followers, it seems mighty strange that he wouldn't have control. Meanwhile, 600 Breezy also continues to beef with his ex who claims that she's pregnant with his triplets.
Mariah Carey Fires Back At Ex-Assistant
Mariah Carey accuses ex-assistant of destroying evidence in her lawsuit.
Mariah Carey has been in and out of court over the past year in her legal battle against her former assistant. Mariah filed a lawsuit against her former assistant on claims that she was being blackmailed, essentially. She made accusations that Lianna “Azarian” Shakhnazarian had visual recordings of Carey “engaging in intimate acts.” Following Carey’s decision to let go of Azariana, Carey claimed that Lianna threatened to leak the videos if Carey didn’t cough up $8M.

According to Page Six, Carey’s attorney, Casey Laffey, said in court papers that “Shakhnazarian has tried to avoid liability by intentionally destroying at least three categories of relevant evidence.” It’s still unclear what Laffey meant since a lot of the document was redacted. Laffey added that Azarian “has irrevocably frustrated Carey’s ability to determine whether Shakhnazarian transmitted the recordings to other third-parties,” the court documents say.
Now that the evidence no longer exists, according to Laffey, Carey demands permission to make copies of the contents on Azarian’s phone in order to make sure she doesn’t “withhold or destroy.” Carey also stated that she can’t really fight Azarian’s “sole” defense that she had permission to take the videos of Carey.
“Ms. Shakhnazarian did nothing wrong. It is sad that Ms. Carey and her team are more concerned about PR than the truth coming out. I wish them well,” Shakhnazarian’s lawyer, Tobin Lanzetta, said.
